TJ articulates something about writing lyrics in segments (rather than a whole song at once) which I've never been able to explain to anyone; 'the cadence of the phrasing is just as important as what you were saying'. Very, very wise take on process
This documentary is awesome! and surprising. Didn't see it coming at all. Can't wait to see HH next week and hear their new songs played live from Bad Frequencies.
This is actually an incredible documentary. I love listening to them talk about their song writing craft it’s so interesting it’s like once theyre officially in the studio and ready to begin they set a timer so they only spend x amounts of hours working on the song so they know when to stop it’s so abstract
I'm so thankful that you guys made this documentary, it hit close to home. I feel as close to this album, as I did when I was a teenager, listening to your album "If Only You Were Lonely", tucked away in my room, thinking about how what would be. Thank you.....🖤💜🖤💜
I live in Toledo on the eastern side and let me tell you about winter... your pipes freeze, your gas Bill's are insane and sometimes getting to work isn't always guaranteed everyday because of mad snow falls and level 2 and 3 winter emergencies so sometimes it can be a little hard in the midwest. There's drugs everywhere even in the suburbs and a lot of metal health services and clinics around the corner and to me Hawthorne heights personifies all of this best in song. To me anyways who has listened to this band since 2004.
I saw them 4 times on their 2nd album tour with Casey. I even still have one of Casey's guitar picks. I saw 2 shows on the Fragile Future tour and kinda lost interest after the original band splintered. I have a much younger guitar playing friend that's discovered Hawthorne Heights and I'm glad he's into them. He saw his 1st show of theirs recently and he loved it. So he suggested that I watch this video and I'm glad I did. This band has brought me so much joy and now they're doing the same for a younger generation.

If I was on the road like they were all the time I wouldn’t want to live in some big expensive house either. What’s the point in paying for some big expensive house when you’re never there
Oh i see what happened to that amazing guy in the band that was less accredited and taken for granted. He would of been an awesome screamer if he was actually giving the chance. Micah rocks!!!!

Me too
Congrats on over a million monthly listeners on Spotify boys. Well deserved!
It's hard to find a band whom you can love from the bottom of your heart, but it's seems easy for HH to gain that love.
Tune out the bad frequencies. Negativity can only get you down if you let it. Be yourself. Be vibrant. Be colorful.
