A+ for the officers/guys who volunteered their time to help with this camaro build. I wish there were more people like that in this country. I love and appreciate what all you guys do.
Just love how the show makers make such a dramatic statement about a little rust. That car is in amazing shape for its year and you could build a whole car outa a magazine. I guess the people who have no idea will enjoy it.
To hear Sergeant Miles say that it "made him feel like he was a kid again" brought tears to my eyes!!!! We just had the HOT ROD tour come through Burlington, NC on Sunday. And me, being 60 years old; I FELT LIKE A KID again seeing all these muscle cars rolling through our town. So many of these cars I haven't seen since I was a little kid!!!!
Barry is one of my favorite csr builfers. His super muscle cars are sophisticated and second to none. Really turns out nice cars like my cousin at Samson design and Troy Trepanier. Chip Foose is ranking up there to. What a show winning talent the mentioned builderd
I love how everything on these kinds of show is a catastrophic emergency that is a hair from ending the project... I don’t believe I’ve seen any of these ever just call it quits. It’s like everything always magically works out in the end
Even more I like the fact that these officer's are enjoying this and that they appreciate classic cars Great step up from them. Remember this they up front volunteered
Yeah I thought it was odd that his camaro just ended up going for over twice the other one, which was definitely a steal. I'm wondering if it had something to do with the show.
If anyone sees this video he's screwed. especially with all those patches, I paid 15000 for mine had original paint one dime sized rust spot whole car. mine came from LA
Finally was able to get a ZL1 last year and it all stemmed from test driving a 60s Camaro when I was 17 .. so 15 + years I've had my eye on Camaros. I wanna say that and late 60s and early 70s Novas are top of my list to
Several years ago (before the internet and eBay) I bought a 1969 Camaro X44 for $1,000. The car was in mint condition with 60k miles. Now, eBay and shows like this have really screwed up the vintage car market with over inflated prices. Additionally, everyone seems to think that they can buy one of these rusted cars (Camaro or other) and they can restore it, which is also driving up the prices of these vintage cars.
Agreed you see people spending ridiculous money on a car that 50,000 people bought new for $3,500 what I would love is to see a show that goes back and takes a look at what these cars look likes and what they go through 3 years later
thirsty for a new episode, Barry you and your team are the best, I watched many videos no one amazed me as you do please we are looking forward for new episodes 💗
I'm a ford girl but I absolutely ❤️the way this car turned out it is absolutely beautiful. Every part of it is just perfect. Those guys did a amazing job. Congratulations on selling it and I really hope it goes to a good home and is very well taken care of.
In the past, Chevrolet were the cars to have. You are admiring the work of GM's golden age. Today, Chevrolet and all of GM, except Corvette, is a joke. GM should not even exist with Corvette just becoming a stand alone company. GM has made nothing worth owning for over fifteen years. I do not know how they stay in business.
That is a really nice Camaro, And yes, the red Camaro was the best deal. But that silver monster car, has the horsepower to have lots of fun driving that car!!!
Alot these tv car shows its all fake any way, Buyer is allways the owner of the car, gave the to the company to modify or rebuild it for them, then fake sold it to him,it's tv land all bs,👍 the buying and selling side is all bs just a fake story line 👍
Shows like this have really ruined the game of restoring wrecks. Every idiot thinks there rusted out car is worth 15000 because the bullshit sales go for 40,000 plus..
I hate when the narrators have no idea what they are talking about... "The supercharger doesn't fit the engine block." Last I checked blowers don't mount to the engine block. It's the intake manifold that doesn't fit. It's like they make these shows for people who know nothing about cars.
I love the comments section on videos like this, it's like most people have no clue what a restomod is and they all expect full restorations and nothing more. Folks, this car is the best of both, it is fully restored like new plus it's upgraded with the latest technology making it safe, pleasant to drive, and reliable. On top of all that, despite your opinions, it was built by Barry White and the SMC brand will hold value. These cars are one of a kind, not "restored" by Billy Bob down the street half-assed and kept original.
These California guys make me laugh. Its entertaining to see them flip out over rust and very little at that in this case. Cowl side tank rust in the lower sections..thats typical. That is NOT rotted out by no means and the structural integrity of the body is not compromised.. They need to see the kinds of cars we have to work with out here in the east. That was actually a very solid straight car they started out with. And for only 6k, thats a steal for a 69 like that. Note how solid the front and rear windshield channels are with no rot out.. floors are still there. rockers are solid. trunk weather strip channels are solid.trunk to rear window panel is solid...Then they go on to replace what didn't need replacing with aftermarket panels, which never fit right without work anyway... Both doors and the entire front clip at least. He basically threw away a lot of what he initially bought. just because they didn't want to body work the original better fitting panels.
Same here, I've gotten some nice parts from California. They have it easier for sure. I just find it comical they will replace a whole solid floor panel with mild surface rust while out here, in my neck of the woods, a car of that vintage sitting in a wrecking yard or someones backyard or field for decades will have no floors at all..You'd be lucky if the rockers or floor braces are still there to attach new panels to.

William Handy these guys are shit too
stillatin yeah I watched a few more episodes and I kinda feel they are not that great, still better than that west coast customs shit

Yes

that's a fucking sick car, black with white stripes would be more sick though
That paint job and those rims have me in awe
That was pretty cool the officers got a chance to help!
I’m a cop as well. Thank you for including us .
So he gets a brand new engine and instantly starts revving it like crazy and performs multiple burnouts LOL
Varun Tyagi exactly what I thought
9k for new panels? Holy Smokes I didn't even spend a third of that for mine!
I have a 1969 el camino ss and would love to take it to a car show when im done restoring it and I would not put those rims on it
Thank you put drag tires on it instead of these lowpro pieces of shit
After auction fees, that $11K profit would be about $6K
The police actually went to his shop? Definitely an informant.
Barry is the Best in the world 🌍
It seems like the old guy and that couple are always in every episode 🤨🤨
Hi Barry lots of Respect for the quality flawless work you do
Beautiful Camaro, great bringing it back to life. Wrong rims. Those are more like truck rims or something. Need some foose touch.
69 Camaros are great, but 67s are great too and way underrated.
Not knowing shit about how to fix cars I applaud these guys!
Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for Subscribing!
Just to let everyone know that the real Christine is a 58 Plymouth fury not a Camaro
Hello how are you doing how is the weather treating you over there , I’m Genevieve. I will like to know you more better (208 991 3353).

Hey
Chromies are gay level 5000
very nice chevy, only thing is that some drag radial tires wouldve been awesome on old school muscle rims.
the red camaro for 25 was a deal.
the guy who paid 56,000 will never get his money back

I find it Ironic that, in the film, Christine actually totals a 67 Camaro that belonged to one of the bullies. XD
I just saw four episodes of this show and the old guy at the auction was in three of them and the couple twice!

that car sold for way more than what it was worth

Probably because it was being aired on tv so they wanted to show who had more money but that's my opinion.
well, its worth whatever someone is willing to pay

true indeed! !!! I remember a time when you go buy a car for 3 to $400 now people want 20 grand for a rusted-out car because of the shows
10k maybe in perfect shape. At least for my year trans am. I got it for 3k, but why would I sell my car?
Same with my Trans Am :D
same with my Prius.
Seriously, the annoying ass whine of that blower... That car is a piece of shit and won't last.
Writing "Super Muscle Car" on both end is a tacky touch. We can tell what it is (or purports to be) without that detail.
The difference between the two camaro was the 25k one had all the og parts and the 56k had modern tech and everything new which is why it was more.
I hate when the narrators have no idea what they are talking about... "The supercharger doesn't fit the engine block." Last I checked blowers don't mount to the engine block. It's the intake manifold that doesn't fit. It's like they make these shows for people who know nothing about cars.
Josh U kinda like tuning the idle for the right note
If you make fueling a little leaner on idle, you'll hear the lump of a cam more as far as I know. So yeah, tuning the idle note is possible haha.
DD lope of cam
that's where the money is for tv shows
This is my fav Camaro ever of alltime! Love this colorway also
I'm really glad he stopped singing and did something more productive with his life. GOOD JOB BARRY WHITE!!!
The cars always look good except for the rims. They always put shitty rims on them.

Why do they have a one week schedule they should have done this months before the auction to flatten out any problems before its to late

it call time they only have 4 weeks dumb fuck.. hey you know you cant fix stupid right
david ellsworth say man y u so nice. Jus a tv show😏
I love this show it's the best show ever I don't know why so many people hate it
the flash and the RnB prince are in actions dude
Thanks for making the video I enjoyed it I love muscle cars ✌️🇺🇸
Good lord $6,000 for just the real AN body that's expensive I live in Kentucky I can get these cars in that shape for $1200 to $2000 all day
Even now?
FANTASTIC TEAM
Great video! Thank you.
Good Show... Thanks for Sharing
Every car does NOT need 24 inch wheels.....15 X 8 body color steelies is the right one here...I.M.H.O.
Agreed
Those shitty rims ruined the whole damn car...
It's one of the original Hot Wheels cars. Shouldn't it look the part?
Not according to the comments so far..........

Your humble opinion is spot on!
Should have let the Aussie build it.. They're Lucky Dogs.. Gotta Lov'em...
Funny how people think he over paid for the roller. Look at eBay
Love the car but hate the wheels. They do amazing work for sure!
Now that’s one hell of a break in procedure

hmm someone is joules.. lmfao
Fast n laut deutsch
Ja
Ok
Not sure why these wheels are getting so much hate... I personally like them. It’s a good combo of old school beauty with new age flare
Beautiful job

WOW nice job ...great upload

Nice but factory stock is always better
When dealing with 1960s and early-1970s factory supercars I agree.

Christine is a bad girl... But have to salute to the guys, they're freakin' professionals.
Back when police officers was polite and had good connection with their community
These car shows have way too much manufactured drama.
Barry White , Chris Brown , if we see a Jerry Red I’m leaving
