Jimmy pop is a great comedy genius lyricist, the tongue and cheek innuendos are amazing. I think there are very few songwriters with that kind of skill. Dumb toilet humor with great composition behind it is a difficult thing to pull off.
Jimmy's voice is so monotone and weary, and then they juxtapose that with energy of a dance beat, and balance it against the the humor of using vocals to recreate sounds which are usually instrumental. I've been listening to BHG since 96, and the music still isn't old.
I think there should be a hall and oates of fame situation - that's my vote. Also, they should make bands fight it out - like the tough people they are - but for our amusement this time
