Best FE theme by far. This truly represents Fire emblem in all it's glory, this game was near perfect with only 1 flaw, too easy. Other than that, the story it tells is one unlike any other (for the first couple chapters) all the units have amazing characters except Makalov. The lord isn't a noble hero but instead is just a 17 year old mercenary who became the most renowned person in all of Tellius. I fucking love this game to death and I wanna be buried holding a copy of this game in my hands.

The fact I've yet to leave a comment on this song is disgraceful. It's Insane just how immensely hard this song goes especially compared to other iterations of the main theme. The PoR OST as a whole is pretty good at keeping it's dial cranked up to a 10 especially with songs like Ike's resolution, greil mercenaries, the recruitment theme, black knights theme, device battle, crimea attacks, and congregation of ambition. But this one is just on an entirely different tier. Absolutely fantastic

To this day, I am working through Three Houses, after clearing every other game I can conceivably get to work (4/5 just...dies...). This game set off a love for this series that has continued to this day. And Path will ALWAYS be my favorite Fire Emblem game. To me, the story, cast and difficulty was the best balance.
TheKiss I think the potential OP of Aether healing would be offset by the low contact-time of the move itself. It barely touches its targets, so healing would be negligible. Although I still hope Ike is faster and that Ragnell is ranged like in PoR and RD.
Are we talking about the same Aether? Ike's Up+B is his ONLY move with a very long contact time....if positioned correctly it can trap the enemy for 1-2 seconds.

I think the game should get a remake for either the Switch or the 3DS with added features from the recent games (like "Casual Mode", voice grunts in the supports [like in Awakening], the character portraits just being expressions and not moving their mouths [like in Fates and Awakening], and improved voice acting).
Really? I think the still portraits of the 3DS games were a big step *back*. Making the portraits occasionally blink and seeing their mouths actually move, in combination with scrolling text instead of just dropping full text boxes made them feel more alive. And no grunts please, not at this point, please go the Shadows of Valentia route, full-on voice acting. If it's anywhere as good as in that game, I'd absolutely adore that.
Laggalot101 For the main story scenes, they could do full voice work. I think the still portraits with expression changes would be helpful, because at least the dub voice actors wouldn't have the trouble to sync with the mouth movements.

i like the first part from 0:00 to 0:35. that is probably the most epic part of any fire emblem song except for the middle part of the intro to radiant dawn.

I havent played path of radiance but i love fire emblem and i love radiant dawn. You're probably gonna thumbs domn me for this but i like the radiant dawn one better. The song is much more subtle.
I like the intro before the main theme, myself. But it's overall a good orchestration.. until we to the second half of the song. Not my favorite theme but it's not too bad. It's got such a wonderful introduction but it doesn't hold onto that badassery for as long as I wish it would.
PoR is such an awesome game. I finished it yesterday and it took me a whole month! Fire Emblem games are usually the games the take the longest time to beat and this was only on normal mode. But I like RD a bit better because it's even longer and a bit more epic. I mean, you beat up a god in that game. But I've never heard about a secret ending in RD, how do you get it?
