Muncher is a GREAT variety. I love the lemon cucumber because it's so refreshing, but man is it prolific...I refer to it as a plant/monster from an old B movie because it can take over quickly. Thanks for all the tips.
This is the first year I grew vertically, love it. My wife loves munchers, not so much the Marketmore 76 I grew grew year. So I'll be shopping for some on your site today.
Rats or birds eat the leaves off all my cucumber and melon sprouts. I have left water out to see if that will prevent this thinking they are eating the leaves for water - no luck. Any suggestions? Thank you!
I don't get good germination when I direct snow. Maybe the birds get them. Do you sell Japanese cucumber seeds? I'm growing marketmore now from seed and they are ready to plant now!
I’m going to plant Armenian cucumbers for the first time as a fall crop here in 8b, south GA. But I recently learned they are not true cucumbers. They’re in the melon family!
@@SanDiegoSeedCompany not really growing very fast...its been hot I know they can be divas..I've starter trying to water more...idk I'm probably just trying to hard to be like the cool kids and water will probably help.
That's cool. Didnt know burpless are the ones without bumps. Very good to know.
Lemon cukes are the best! Easy to grow in Ocean Beach in a sunny location. And yes, pick them before they get deep yellow.
Lemon cucumber is delicious, I've been growing them in Texas for the last 5 years. Luv the cucummbaa

I love the flavor of Armenian cucumbers! It is a challenge to keep them harvested before they get huge, much like zucchini.
Very good teaching and demo... Thank you!
You almost had a new england accent when you said “cucumbahhh” 😀
I don’t care for lemon cucumbers as they are full of seeds! Love the muncher cuke and pickling!
Yes, those two are fantastic!

Trellising can help keep the fruit and leaves high. You can try draping shade cloth or netting to keep birds away too.

We don't at this time. You can definitely start them in cells like you have been. Love to hear about your harvests!
Good tips!

6-8 inches?! Well I was very generous with my spacing, gave mine about a foot of space 😅😅😅
Hopefully that means less powdery mildew!
Growing around 5 plants Two months no Cucumbers yet 🤨spacemaster bush probably not enough watering some dying truning yellow don't know...
Are they full sun? On irrigation? You should have cucumbers coming on.

Stugaling in kansas who cant get cucumbers gowing I'm a failure
You'll get there! Are the seeds not germinating, or are the plants dying after?
