theres something about you guys that screams honest, but in the most polite way possible, great reviews!! keep em coming :)
TCSTV is the top of the game when it comes to camera YT content. The surpass all the garbage (DRTv) and sellouts pushing their tutorial downloads. Chris and Jordan rock.
+Rediscover Film agreed, though I wouldn't have been so harsh.
I agree 100%!
Agree, great review.
agree!
Gentlemen, you do good work. Thanks for posting.
Thanks Maarten! You too!
What an exceptional vid! I'm binge-watching vids of this FUJI model tonight and there is definitely no shortage of well done raving reviews, but this one, between Billy popping in, and running for the AF demo, and the shots of the 240Z and GT40..........mercy! I feel like if I empty my already full shopping cart, this will be my forever camera.
I always come to your channel when I want unbiased reviews on Fuji cameras. You guys always cut through the hype. Great review and amazing photos. Happy to know that Fuji has finally caught up with autofocus.!
The Camera Store looking for a camera store! :)
...and as they are in NYC, landing at B&H
Haha I was thinking the same thing!
Great info on the X-T2 guys! .... Thank you Billy! haha. Nice to see Fuji designed the camera to not overheat.
Thanks Eric! We'll do a proper overheating test without the grip once production units ship.
Jordan @ TCSTV
Hopefully Fuji will listen and allow F-log to be recorded internally, it's such a waste to let it be exclusive for HDMI external recorder. I know that 8-bit 420 is not ideal for log but at least it gives the users the option like Sony and Panasonic do.
Agreed! At least Fuji has a good track record with firmware.
Jordan @ TCSTV
But it's a good thing that you can use Fuji Colours with the Film Simulation, can you use Grain Simulation in video as well? Which film simulation you found to be more cinematic? I think a toned down Provia and a Classic Chrome would look pretty good as for out of the box video.
I wished the X-T2 had a swivel screen and touchscreen, even more since Fuji is now getting into video territory, Panasonic showed that it can be pretty nice to have it.
Hopefully filmmakers will embrace the X-T2 more than previous Fuji cameras and as a consequence, Fuji needs more OIS lenses or put a 5-axis IBIS on the next one.
+theSUBVERSIVE Fuji already has 8 OIS Lenses + another announced for 2017. don't look for ibis on Fuji X mount as manager states ibis is incompatible with their lens mount as they don't want to sacrifice image quality. fuji also claims a touch screen will be conflicting to a dial operation camera - which is one of their reasons for excluding it according to them*. they released the the x70 which is a touch screen model since year but its not a dial operated device. (personally I can think of the touch screen being conflicting as imagine setting the shutter speed dial to let's say 1\125 and having the ability to use a touchscreen to do the same and I set the touchscreen to 1\250.. which would take priority? what I set on the touchscreen or what is set on the dial? also the lens apertures.. most of the lenses have manual mechanically controlled apertures - I can still only change my aperture by physically adjusting it- the only way the camera can take control of the aperture is if it has been set to "A" which at that point u lose manual control so the touchscreen could not set it either... ISO dial would be the same concern*.. i am not saying its impossible but just my view but then again they could use it for focusing, menu navigation and playback)
iforgotmyusername0 I've aware of all of that. But most OIS lenses if not all, they are zoom lenses and it does not include the 16-55mm f/2.8, the best candidate for go to video lens. None the of bright primes have OIS, for 35mm and beyond, it would be nice to have OIS or any sort of IS.
I think IBIS is possible, even more if you consider that 4K video in the X-T2 already have some extra crop in it, so vignetting is not an issue for 4K and the major purpose of a IBIS would be for video. Fuji says it compromises IQ but since 4K already uses 1.75x crop, it doesn't compromise its quality. So it's very doable and then still photographers have the option to use it knowing there might be vignetting or crop.
Touchscreen conflicting with dials and buttons is very easy to solve, let the user set how he wants, done. Moreover, touchscreen wouldn't be for changing settings, aperture, etc. that doesn't add to the camera, but for focusing, even more in video, it adds a lot. Touch focus and drag focus would be huge for video, even more if you can set the speed for changing focus to be more cinematic and so on and so forth.
I'm being very reasonable as why I think Fuji should improve those if they are serious about video. Sure, Fuji won't be able to address that now, but they are important points for the future when it comes to supporting video.
The film simulations look so great I doubt I'll ever use flog.
Great review as always. Thanks. Hope the full review and comparison between the X-T2 and the A6300 is coming soon.
Great video and great camera. I'm really excited that Fuji finally addresses the video issue with their cameras and improved AF at the same time. Awesome.
Fuji is the brand that doesn't come to my mind first, like Olympus, but it's the one I'm falling love with and I feel like I have to have once I see reviews like this and all gorgeous results. NYC certainly shined in evening with XT2 - amazing shots. Chris looks great in NYC as always but did anyone say Jordan looked damn handsome especially with Acros profile?? Forget those models.
1:28 - Worlds colliding. 9:37 - Dean Neistat on the right... Casey Neistat's brother!!!
wow.. that's correct :-D Dean Neistat... you have eagle eyes!!
Whoever Casey Neistat is... but the other guy on the phone looked like Barney Britton from dpreview ;-)
I thought it was Barney too.
Omg, omg, omg! Who's Dean Neistat?
Some guy from a documentary about wolves
I really love the colors and composition of 14:08. This episode made me interested in Fuji!!
Just bought this xt2 camera , impressed with this review
Hi guys !
When is the full review coming ?
thanks and keep up the good work :-D
11:28 wow, the color.
Is the image from the XT2 edited?
Hey Chris! Excellent "pre-prod" review of the awesome XT-2! As a Fuji X-system shooter (XT-1/X-Pro-2), I was also impressed with the image quality, particularly the sharpness, that you got with the Fuji XF 16-55. I use that lens, as well as other Fuji lenses such as the 35 f/2, 60 macro, and 90, and am always amazed that with this system, doing any sharpening in post is truly optional, especially with their jpegs. I assume you also found similar image quality in the X-Pro 2, since they use the same sensor and engine.I look forward to your continued reviews of the Fujifilm X-System. Thanks again!
you Guys are getting better and better. excellent work.
That shot at 12:21 is really nice. Love the blues and that building in the background.
11:30 Also wow looking at the stills in 4k, the Fuji's vibrant colors and lack of noise are awesome when up against the A6300.
I totally agree, I thought that image quality was so much better on the Fuji. Impressed!
that may have just been the picture profile though
Yes Fuji's jpegs are the best. But if you shoot raw the A6300 and X-T2 are the same, except the A6300 shoots at iso 100 and the Fuji at iso 200.
+Bomber not the same. different cfa and compression. You can shoot ISO100 raws with the fuji too
I had various Fujis, ISO100 on the fuji is a boosted mode, and as such it has a loss in quality and should be used only when you want less light, not for the dynamic range.
But yes, the raw are not the same, fuji applies a lot more of noise-correction even in raws, but the end result is the pretty much the same. They basically have the same sensor with a different pixel layout that originally was used to avoid moiré; without an AA filter, but today moiré; isn't that big of an issue anymore.
Anyway, the X-T2 and the A6300 are the best APSC mirrorless right now and I'm amazed how much Fuji improved on the AF since the X-E1.
that was a great review, touched on things i was curious about with the camera, namely how the autofocus performance in fast difficult situations as well as the video autofocus. Both look great for the preproduction model, but I'm hoping for a few more tests with a production model when it comes out. I'm also curious as to what Jordan thinks of the video quality at 1080 as well, some of us will shoot with that as well.
As usual, keep up the great work, you guys are my favourite photography/gear channel. Cheers
Another fantastic video review. You guys really are the best at these. Keep it up.
I was not expecting X-T2 to beat Sony in the 4K department. This is so exciting!
Great tests guys. Can't wait for the full review.
I Love the ACROS b&w OMG! That`s the best thing in this camera :D
This is so close to being the perfect camera for me. But why did they make the screen flip to the right rather than having it be able to face forward like Canon/ Panasonic D: It seems like the screen mechanism on the X-T2 is more complicated and less useful.
Another amazing vide, funny, honest and with a lot of useful facts, thanks guys!
Hi. I wonder what you used to mic Chris (?) in the garage and on the streets (area focus test). I didn't see a lav. so I guess it was a shotgun. However you did it, it worked quite well.
Thanks for the review. These days (12/18) Sony has an a6500 and a7ii and iii to compete, and there have been some firmware updates on the XT-2. However, I'll bet most of it's still valid.
I'm leaning strongly toward the XT-2, as it seems better for me than Canon, Nikon or Sony and I can't afford the XT-3.
Thanks!
Hands down.
This channel does the best reviews on RUclips
08:55 Quick note on triggering wireless flash on Fuji: Cactus has released the V6 II, which has Fuji compatibility and HSS.
What cheaper flashes are there?
+skatertwig26 There's the Cactus RF60, which is around $175 by itself.
***** Hmmm not too bad. The Fuji line is looking more appealing. I hope Godox supports them soon.
+skatertwig26 Why wait? Another cool feature it has an auto flash detection function. So as long as you have a Godox TTL flash, it'll work.
***** Pretty cool!!! With HSS too? Leaving a system is hard. Flashes lenses and such have to go. Plus the additional $600 then my a6300. I want to wait and see what happens. But I am considering Fuji. I wonder if there is a way to get this to work with Fuji. Mabye it can use one of the Canon or Nikon Godox triggers? I am new to Fuji tech so I am not sure haha www.amazon.com/Godox-AD600M-Outdoor-8700mAh-0-01-2-5/dp/B01B2NW6BO/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1468701664&sr=8-8&keywords=godox+flash
Always great production from you guys! Keep up the fantastic work. Was this your first visit to B&H photo?
Damn, Billy is hilarious. Love the guy!
Really? I must be alone or in the minority because he was annoying as hell throughout the video. Hope he never comes back in future videos.
I wanted more billy lol. jumping in when ever he can (I'm sure it was planned, otherwise he would have been cut during the video editing)
chill and enjoy the video ppl -_-;;
Whenever he came in, it completely threw me off and took me out of the review. I think Jordan and Chris are better on their own on this one.
KEEP Billy. Hilarious. If he threw you off then you have other brain problems. It shouldn't be that difficult to concentrate with that little bit of interruption.
There are nice ways to reply to a person. This is not one of them. Do
you really not see any merit to my opinion? You can't imagine anyone
being thrown off by the interruptions so much that they must have brain
problems?
Fuji image looks so good. Can't wait to see comparison between 6300 with XT2
I love your guys content so much, please never stop
Many thanks guys (and Billy) one of your best videos to date.
Can't wait to get xt2 when it released. Fuji really did good job with this one
Is recording time still limited if you use an external recorder?
I also wonder whether it will be possible via a firmware update to have the HDMI output 10-bit or if this is a physical limitation of the hardware.
As always, great initial overview guys!
thank you thank you, for another great video. those fuji profiles look nice. and Chris, the puddle shot was great! :)
Great review guys, as usual. One thing wasn't clear to me, though, is when you said that using the battery grip unlocks additional features. Which features, exactly? You seemed to insinuate that using the battery grip helps with autofocusing? Can't be, can it?
Chris, a good bit on the XT2 in NYC. And funny ditching Billy out of your frame. My question is the 16-55 f2.8. What's your opinion about this lens as I'm planning on using a small med. zoom for weddings. My present setup is D700 with Nikon's 24-84 f2.8-4.
Thanks,
Frank
Good job guys. Funny. Informative. To the point.
Hey guys great review, fair unbiased as we have come to expect. Footage looked amazing and so nice to hear Jordan actually having something to talk about on a Fuji camera :) Provia looks stunning and way better than I can grade (not hard). Chris one thing thats probably worth mentioning in Fuji (and other manufacturers camera reviews where appropriate) is that while the screen does not rotate for selfies of Vlogging etc there is a very good in fact even more optimal workaround. When I want to record myself I use the Fuji app. It turns my tablet into a small monitor that I can have near me and monitor the footage being recorded. It also has the benefit of allowing me to change camera settings remotely and start and stop recording remotely and touch AF using the tablets touch screen. I think this functionality is worth mentioning as it addresses a perceived shortfall mentioned in your review and probably in other brands who have smartphone apps reviews ie Panasonic.
Nice review Jordan. Btw how are you getting and checking audio in the recording camera - a6300? Thanks.
Great post guys, I always look forward to your reviews!
Of course it shoots well in low light. I have an XT-1, but even my X100-T does excellent in low light conditions without flash. These camera's own the night, and their color dynamics are good enough for me. I appreciate hearing about all of the upgrades though. Nice job guys!
Great video, very in-depth for a second impression. Hilarious Billy participation. Congrats!
The A6300 footage looked really great. Bummer about the overheating. And since it doesn't look like you guys weren't sweating that much, how hot out could it have been?
39 Degrees Celsius.
Jordan @ TCSTV
lmao you're simply wrong sam.... The a6300 shoots at 4k downsampled from 6k while the fuji shoots 4k native. It is an actual fact that you get crisper better video from the sony. Only thing the fuji wins in is ergonomics and even then needing the battery grip just to compete with the sony thats half the size is pathetic..
Barney Britton from DPReview in the background starting at 9:02.
I'm easily distracted. I'm also glad Billy has a sense of humor.
basically like the a6300
.. with better controls.. better colors.. no overheating... flip screen.. thumb stick.. dual sd slot... aps-c lenses
you forgot better shutter, better viewfinder and made in japan ;)
And twice the price with grip.
*****
there are people willing to pay more for something that actually works well and doesnt fail while you are working with it.
And double the price :) Overheating is an issue, but for most, not worth $1000 more to solve, especially with a SmallRig cage solving that quite a bit. Also only an issue if you shoot 4k for more than 15 minutes, something the Fuji can't even do w/o the grip... And if you don't mind paying more then just go for an A7SII..
i had overheating issues shooting full hd and even photographing in warm weather. I would pay three times the price for something that works compared to something that just doesnt work. and now with 2 bad sony units with the same issues i wont pay to that brand again. i never had similar issues with canon or fuji. so buying more for the a7s2 is no option because i just dont want to trust their products anymore.Nicolas Gomez
Finally got around to watching this in 4k, and I'm glad I waited for the 4k Provia :)
CHRIS! You need to stop making me want to upgrade my gear, well who am I kidding the ol' faithful X-T1 will be up for sale soon...
Great review as always, Cheers
Nice review as always :) Really like the colors from the X-T2
Seems like a very fine camera. I bought the 100x when it first came out and I am still using it. Amazing quality. If ISO is as good as in the video shown it´s a camera I will consider seriously. Thanks for showing.
Whoa, that's a huge improvement on video. Kudos to Fuji!
Great review! Just a short part to the a6300 and a6000 overheating, set the date to 2017, turn off the camera....which forces a pixelremapping...voilla. A guy on youtube pointet this out, pixelremapping and the fastets card you can buy. So i have done it also, and it works!! No idea why, but so far, my overheating problems are gone!
If this is true, and I have no reason to believe it isn't, it beggars belief why Sony doesn't simply program such a procedure into their cameras under a menu button called 'Reset for high-temperature video' or something that activates when a fast card is installed. It may sound clunky in PR, but they'd curtail frustration in users.
Man, X-E2 user here, and I am not at all a video guy, so I never cared about the poor video quality, but now...that looks so good for straight out of the camera. Combine that with the AF and it makes me want an X-T2 even though I prefer the X-E size.
Looks awesome! Can you perhaps discuss the price point: is it good or bad relative to the features the camera has in future videos or for this camera? Thank you!
Great preview/review guys. Billy was hilarious!
I have never even thought about getting a Fuji but this camera looks great and the battery grip reminds me of my old Nikon film cameras. Nice review. Thx. Mark
Here I am years later, having a T-2 for about 4 months now. What I would have liked to know with this is what your sharpness and contrast settings were. I resist moving sharpness above zero on the T-2. And I wonder about how dropping sharpness below zero....well, maybe some of us just want to see what the lens can do, not the software.
The film simulation modes are gorgeous!
I was really impressed with the film filters. That Provia looks so nice. And Jordan never looked sexier in that black and white shot :)
Good on Fuji for playing on their biggest strengh, color. Since they used to make film.
Wow I really like the Astia and Acros profiles. Especially Acros, stunning.
oh finally you liked a Fuji camera.
Guys, did you use any film simulation for the photos? Cool review as always!
Great review as usual. Thank you. It looks like a gorgeous camera that makes beautiful images but with the grip it is bigger and heavier than I want to carry.
Im currently in the market for a new camera because Im getting into video now as well. This was extremely helpful. Thanks
Great video guys! A couple of questions: 1/250 sync with a mirrorless? I thought it would be faster than an DSLR? Maybe I'm missing something. Also, what did you think of the eye sensor lag for the EVF? I have an X30 and it's brutally slow switching from LCD to EVF when the eye sensor is on. Thanks!
thumbs up for the billy moments
Did you consider using 2 hands for the vertical shots? You could hold the vertical grip, but use the shutter release of the horizontal grip with the other hand. And maybe the knobs on that side as well. Just an idea.
y'all have the best Camera Reviews. It seems like this is THE mirrorless camera to get.
The GX85 is also a Swiss army knife option too.
The gx85 is a great bargain allrounder but nowhere near compareable at any level.
I would like to get a competition between A6300 vs X-T2 vs E-M1 as the last one got the firmware 4.0 that truly changed the C-AF performance (and overhauled camera, like ISO 6400 on video, E-shutter 1/8-1/16000, 11fps with C-AF, 24/25fps for video etc) and the E-M1 beated the A6000 when it was announced. And soon Olympus is releasing/announcing the E-M1 successor so it would be interesting to see what kind level the m4/3 system is currently, and then what it will be in future with the successor. (Or simply keep m4/3 system away from APS-C market and just compare E-M1 (fw.4.0) vs E-M1 successor when lateral gets out).
The Fuji videos really look nice now and partially I still like the idea of physical knobs in camera to slow things down, but the size and weight... It just isn't for me anymore.
Wow NYC multiple times in a year - you guys are getting big time! Great preview of a sweet camera. Chris you should do an art book of your puddle shots. There are weirder photo books out there...
in vertical position holding the camera low close to the ground 3:14, wouldn't it be more comfortable if you used your thumb to push the shutter? just a thought
Colour me impressed. I been thinking about migrating to mirrorless and away from DSLRs (I've been a Canon shooter since the 70s). My biggest hesitation from making that move was the AF issues with most Mirrorless rigs, my other issue in lens selection. I have huge arsenal of Canon glass (almost solely 'L' glass), this is one area that concerns me. That said, my migration into mirrorless will be methodical, not selling my Canon gear en masse anytime soon. Olympus is the other brand that I am currently looking at.
the video recorded to the external monitor looks amazing.
How does the autofocusing of the Panasonic G7 & G85 compare to that of other mirrorless cameras like the Sony A6300 (or in this case, the Fujifilm X-T2)? I have heared very positive things about Panasonics AF, but I want to be sure and have something to rely on.
Compare the difference in color with the Provia emulation beginning at 3:45 with the A6300 color right before. The ability to get color this good out of the camera is worth more than the price difference. The XT-2 seems perfect for video except for two situations: (1) You want a custom look requiring raw or very good log output, and (2) live events, where you need unlimited run time.
Watching old videos ... the X-T1 was praised in its TCST field test for autofocusing. The X-T2 is significantly better. Looking forward to the X-T4 video, where its revealed how much better autofocusing is compared to the X-T3. It's been this way for decades, ever since autofocus was introduced. Everything's pretty great until there's a new model.
quick question! hope you can help me by my decision what camera I should buy :)
Canon 80D vx Lumix FZ1000. I really like the Lumix because its cheaper and seems to shoot amazing pictures too + has a good video quality. The Canon is just "mindblowing" but I think can more than I need in the end.
So can u still recommend the Lumix (for a price around 300€ on amazon)? Don't wanna buy an "outdated" camera ;)
Thanks for maybe responding and best wishes,
Jere
i have this camera for a week now,and i sold everything else...the best and most fun camera i ever had!
While I am a Fuji user I am not a fanboy, but nobody will believe that in a moment. I appreciate that TheCameraStore's videos don't look like ads. In fact, it's why they make the only video channel involving Fuji's help that I've watched (other than Fuji's own channels). However, I feel like they went out of their way to not be biased, the point of being unnecessarily down on it. I feel like AF better than the A6300 (when dialed in) and not overheating when the A6300 can't cut it should be big deals, and make it beat it, not simply be a good contender against it.
I still love my X-Pro2 but am intrigued about the incremental improvements on the X-T2. With the expected Firmware update to the X-Pro2 announced for October that should update the autofocus algorithms, Do you think Autofocus capabilities of the X-T2 will be coming to the X-Pro2? I know the custom menus will not, but i'm hoping the quick autofocusing will.
Almost 8 months after this video, I decided to take the step and move to Fuji. X-T2, here I come! :)
That's it, you sold me on getting the Fuji X-T2! I need to save up to buy it now. Side note: Billy is hilarious!!!
Great review I have 2 questions, I am mostly a photographer so I am thinking about xpro2. first question is will the xpro2 with firmware updates focus as fast as xt-2 second question in your video at 11:29 the comparison between the sony and fuji is crazy. color and clarity on fuji in my opinion is MUCH better? was there a setting issue on the sony. can't think there is that much difference in the two cameras?? I am not bashing sony. but for myself I am leaning toward xpro2 and maybe a G7 for recording video?? Thank you for the video and I am hopeful to get your insight here.
Good to see you guys stateside.
I've been a Fuji fan for a few years now, and Velvia has been my go to simulation for stills. However, that Provia video was amazing. I currently have little interest in grading, so that will probably be my go-to choice.
This will be my next camera
lol I loved Billy's intermissions! You should have him in your videos often.
Great Video as usual. I did notice something odd though. The small boat which enters the frame around 10:14 seems to move in spurts ... Any particular reason for that ?
Hey guys! Thanks a lot for these videos, super helpful. I'm getting ready to take a 2 month adventure through New Zealand, then 2 months Fiji, then China. Trying to decide btwn the a6300 vs X-T2 or any other camera you might recommend....
-
Will use camera almost exclusively hand held. I like taking shots of nature, landscapes, people too. Many still and some action like surfing, waterfalls, etc
-
I'll be shooting mostly outdoors, but definitely some indoors and some at night.
-
Will also be shooting many videos of myself speaking to camera in different locations while seated and while walking and holding camera.
-
For now would like to just get camera body and one all purpose lens maybe something with a zoom range but not too big for easy of use, weight, and cost (maybe a 2nd small lens too)
-
Also wondering what filter/s I might want. It's been a looong time since I owned a 'real' camera and I remember using an Hoya Polarizer that was cool to have.
-
And are there any other MUST HAVE accessories I should consider besides extra batteries, sd cards, and a rode wireless mic?
_
I can line up good shots, but have limited knowledge on tech aspects and don't really wanna mess with editing too much. Just looking for simple ease of use, but not afraid to learn some things if need be which I'm sure will help improve image quality.
_
Based on everything I mentioned above what would you probably go with if you were in my shoes? Thanks a lot for any advice/thoughts you can provide!
Would love to see a comparison between A6300 and X-T2 without the grip. The grip brings a lot of features to the camera but it also brings too much bulk and weight for my taste to a format that is supposed to be compact.
Absolutely. The Fuji's already *6 HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD)* more expensive without the grip, and with the grip it's another 329 dollars (USD) tacked on to that.

+bohnstube true the xt2 is more expensive, but the fuji system lenses are smaller and cheaper. Sony hardly makes quality emount lenses anymore, instead they concentrate on their full frame line e.g. the g series. Fuji lenses are made for aps-c. That 16-55 f/2.8 is like 1100 vs over 2000 for the 24 -70 f/2.8 on the Sony side.
Daniel Daly "Daniel Daly": Anyone planning on *spending upwards of 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS* on a camera, should be well aware of all of the adapters available today which can cross-fit different manufacturer's lenses on the most popular lens mounts out there, as well as the excellent 3rd-party lens makers who are making great glass specifically for different camera manufacturers lens mounts, the Sony E-mount among them, making your point not nearly as valid a concern today as it certainly was several years ago.
If you like using adapters
It's absolutely a valid concern. Sony's E and FE lens systems are both poor, FE especially has a severe lack of third party support. Even if you disregard that there's quite a few focal lengths and zooms missing from both systems, one cannot ignore how bad the bang for buck is with Sony, their expensive Zeiss lenses are beaten by other lenses for cheaper. For example, the expensive Sony Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 is more expensive than the Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 and optically inferior, this is the same story for most of their lenses.
Adapting lenses can be nice but ultimately you're better off buying modern, native lenses. I don't think being able to adapt many different mount lenses is a very good argument because Fuji can also adapt lenses and Canon and Nikon users simply don't need to, there's over 30 years of lenses from just Canon and Nikon themselves, when you add all the third party lenses you have hundreds and hundreds of native lenses new and old to choose from if you shoot Canikon.
Lenses are the reason I left Sony, I get more bang for buck on F-Mount and I would with EF too, the only thing Sony knock it out of the park with is video.
If you have a lot of money to blow you can ignore a fair bit of criticism for Sony's FE lenses but I still feel a little disappointed Sigma are putting out better lenses for substantially cheaper.
Billy was so funny when he kept popping into the shot lol.
would be a great vlogging camera if the screen folded all the way up :(
can you use your phone as a vlogging screen once paired to the fujifilm app?
great video as always guys
You guys should also compare the xt-2 and a6300 against the 80D or even nikon D500. Would love to see that!
thank you for the awesome video but did you finished your backyard?
Can you do a comparision between A6300 and Fuji T2 about picture and video quality? Many thanks xD
The Astia film simulation looks fantastic!!
Very nice, LOVE THE JAZZY MUSIC!
Seems like a very nice camera. I do, however, have a problem with EVFs. I have a Panasonic G7, which has a good viewfinder. It's great in low light and overcast conditions, but I've found that when I'm in bright sunlight, if I want to take a quick shot, I can't see the EVF very well. Because it's showing the same degree of brightness as it does in other situations, it looks very dim to my eyes, which are accustomed to the bright ambient sunshine. I'm wondering how the Fuji fares in these situations.
Excellent review again guys. How do you get such good audio? I could not see any of you with mic.
We used a Rode Filmmakers kit. The mic is hidden under Chris' shirt in an Invisilav.

Interesting review. But I wonder why there is such a fuss about 4k. No one is broadcasting in it yet, and they're not likely to for some time to come. 1080 HD is still standard for most TV output and that's not likely to change any time soon.
I am very tempted by what appears to be the solid build and image quality of the X-T2, and the focus tracking is impressive but it's hard to understand why the rear screen flips out for vertical shots in such an awkward way.
