    The only reason we lost grand finals is because we didn’t have our one and only legendary tank player Matthew “super” DeLisi with him being a two time Overwatch League Champion, World Cup Champion, Stage 2 Champion, May Melee Tournament Champion, Role Star, All Star and MVP Runner-Up.

    I had the pleasure of seeing the lower bracket run IRL and it was amazing. So proud of all the SFS players, especially Mickey and Kilo who overcame so much this past season and gave performance to be proud of. Thank you for a great video and bringing back those memories again. Let's Go Shock!

    A championship is always nice, but the lower bracket run that Shock made was absolutely crazy, and then to have the most competitive finals ever?? What a treat for all the viewers. All SFS members should be very proud of themselves. They had an amazing year, especially since they are mostly all rookies. I'm sad they won't all be together next year, but I'll root for all the members of this shock team!

    the most important takeaway for me is how high level the coaching of this team is. casores is fucking watching and then vod reviewing with the team between maps. that just shows the insane dedication this team has, they're working to play at their best every second they can.

    The fact that the org took the time to really get the players thoughts and emotions around being on the team and the Playoffs is amazing when they most likely knew a lot of them were going to be released. It speaks volumes as to why SF is the best OWL org, beyond the scope of results and titles.

    aftershock is like a big part of why I really like the sf shock, like you can really see the story behind all the games and players mentality. This is what overwatch league and esports as a whole should be, not just scores, the people playing aren't robots, but real humans and you can see how it hurts to lose and how good it feels to win.

    • @frailty7280
      @frailty7280 2 года назад +2

      Ive been saying this since forever, the reason shock is so loved is because they actually put effort into content, Other teams like atlanta did the same thing early on but now they basically just do like silent vlogs of gamedays and scuffed challenges with the players, which is cool if youre already a fan but nobody's gonna go rushing to watch ATL games after watching "KAI SAYS BEANS ON TOAST IS A DISGRACE TO FOOD | ATLANTA REIGN WHISPER CHALLENGE"

    • @MFWb00bi3s
      @MFWb00bi3s 2 года назад +2

      especially because they can clearly articulate their thoughts about the game rather than many traditional western sports players who know almost nothing but how to play their sport.
      i enjoy a good basketball/(US) football game from time to time, but the interviewees are so simple minded it's almost incredible that they play at such a high level.

      @@squeegie they just played more together and smarter (Dalas), when Shock used kiriko ult they disengaged and left for the duration, but when Dalas used it shock tried to tank it or push through it

    • @squeegie
      @squeegie 2 года назад

      @@peternaur3456 (of course this is my opinion, but..) Not exactly, Fielder used kiriko rush when there would be no time for a disengage. Fielder's timing forced the issue, where as Violet's rush were... mediocre at times. It very much felt like Fuel took advantage of the map's pathing and understood where and when is a good place and timing for certain types of attack, where as Shock trusted in their individual mechanical skills (To shock's defence, there's individual skills were better than that of dallas, maybe the exeption of winston and lucio).
