yea its crazy these people dont have morals and enjoy disrespecting the dead
She is now present with the Lord, the real God who does not demand sacrifice but mercy. God does not condemn the innocent. A 15 year old girl being sacrificed to a false idol would be considered innocent.

@@jacksonrelaxin3425doesn't the bible god ask for sacrifices? In the old testament.
@@dread12059 they were sacrificing animals to a false god. Jesus elaborates on this in Matt. 12:7 where he states to the Pharisee, “if you knew what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.” With this we can assume that the real God never wanted any sacrifice. And how could he? He’s a spirit. What is a Spirit going to do with burned animals or virgins or piles of gold? This still baffles people today as the only thing we can actually do for God is to be good to each other. Would a little kid in a day care be able to do anything for the teacher or whoever’s in charge? No, other than getting along with other kids. That’s it.

The mummy, called La Doncella or The Maiden, is that of a teenage girl who died more than 500 years ago in a ritual sacrifice in the Andes Mountains. If her brain is still intact, and one day we have the tech, it'd be nice to extract those memories and turn it into a "movie" to see what she saw back then and to get a glimpse of the Inca civilization.

Child sacrifice, referred to as capacocha was an important part of the Inca religion and was often used to commemorate important events, such as the death of a Sapa Inca. Human sacrifice was also used as offering to the gods in times of famine, and as a way of asking for protection
Sacrifice could only occur with the direct approval of the Inca emperor. Children were chosen from all over the sprawling Inca empire, and were picked primarily based on their "physical perfection". Children chosen for sacrifice were generally "sons and daughters of nobles and local rulers".
They were then taken hundreds or thousands of miles to Cusco, the capital, where they were the subject of important purification rituals. From there, the children were sent to high mountaintops throughout the empire to be sacrificed. According to traditional Inca belief, children who are sacrificed do not truly die, but instead watch over the land from their mountaintop perches, alongside their ancestors.
The Inca considered it a great honour to die as a sacrifice.
Humans are tragic and weird.

while it's still horrific, these children didn't actually die in a frightened, violent manner. @@homieo54 but it was wrong
Yeah. I live in Salta, Argentina, where those mummies are in a museam. I think it's so bad to show dead children to everybody. After I went to that museam I didn't want to go there again.
Imagine if I’m related to her and me seeing her without knowing if she is related to me

"You just want to ask her a question. It feels like she will come back to answer your question."
That sent chills up my spine
😭😭 don't scare me
RUclips is so great... To have brought us all these things, and ofcourse thanks to camera and videography
I read somewhere that there are more bodies like these in that area, but to keep good relations with the indigenious people, no more excavations would be done.
How horrific. Nobody that young should die in such a way.
Imagine the impact she could have had on other people or the joy she could have brought if she were allowed to live
She was gonna be sacrificed to THE gods, so, and. Im pretty sure she wanted to aswell
This is such a nice and caring comment 🥺 her story is so sad
@@holidaypunch6621 not so sure....they gave them corn liquor (chicha) and coca leaves before they were led to the caves amd abandoned. Not so sure they went completely willingly
How is that horrific if she didn't suffer? she died quickly, nothing more, she just stoped existing. Why is dead so sad to all of you? it's not like they ripped her skin out like the aztecs did with some human sacrifices, or throw her from some high stairs to break everybone like mayas did. Incas were not that cruel lol
@@anapellegrini1764 how did she die?
If only we can bring her back to life...
That would be impossible
Probably in the next 500-2,000 years when science evolves.
@@libzbond She may find some more pros than cons to the humanity today though.
@@libzbond Humanity was bad when she was alive too though. Humans are just bad.
Thanks
This has been my comfort video for a long time for no apparent reason.
Poor girl didn't know she was not going to see the next morning for some science experiments
“It is very unusual for a 15 yr old to have grey hair” nah nah nah hunny I could become Jack Frost right now
Yes and the only time we've seen it so far is in the unusual case of mummified sacrifice.
I had my first silver hair when I was 7, it's not that unusual
