years ago I had the fortune of doing some work for the Foreman's. Never met George. I was meeting with his wife. before I left, his grounds keeper took me aside and took me into 'The Garage' where I saw the most incredible car collection.... they upgraded the car garage since then... my visit was back in mid 90's

I really love how he is so over protective over that 1977 Black Convertible Beatle , even his son knows not to even open the door on it ! That's the way it should be ! Never mess with a man's family , money and his car(s) !
All 9 of George foremans children are named George, even his daughters are named George, look it up because I'm not kidding ,George foreman was my all time favorite heavyweight champion personality wise while I hated cassius clay aka Ali.
George is such a class act. Now I find, he's a car guy who isn't a car snob but has a few snobbed up cars but loves the others more. Love that. I love old Mercury and Chryslers.
Love George Foreman! What an incredible and improbable story his life has been. I recall years ago after he had made an incredible amount of money with the George Foreman Grill, an interviewer asked why he still did Meineke muffler commercials. He said that Meineke had taken a chance on using him in their TV commercials when no one else would touch him and he felt loyal to them after he became even more famous. Plus, he said, "And those checks still come in handy at the end of the month." So classy!
God bless him man, he is so genuine, humble and wise, while being a GREAT-GREAT. Everytime I watch George he makes me smile, even by just talking. This man has such strong good vibes!!

I met George back around 1997-1998 he was flying on the plane I was flying in. He was in first class and traveled with a body guard. I got to shake his hand at the baggage pick up in Rhode Island after people started to notice him he left, got in his limo and was doing ring side or something he mentioned. Great honor to meet the legend!
My personal favorite car is a 1988 Nissan Sentra it was blue. I was in the Marine Corps me and my friends named it the "Blue Bomber" that car got the best gas mileage ever. I could go from Camp Lejeune to Myrtle Beach on $10.00 ride around the beach on the weekend and still make it back to base and still ride on the same tank for a week. Man you talking about good times . The clutch went out I repaired it, however it never drove the same after that.
I don't really know this man. But! He reminds me, so much, of my father! Looks similar, what with, boxer, my father won the CYO (Chicago Youth Organization....many years ago), his size, looks, demeanor etc, etc. I just love this guy! Rock on George! (Check for first professional fight, in Madison Square Gardens, mid 1940s, Ed (Mickey) Kaminski)(Never happened, mother asked him to quit after last amateur fight)
It's definitely refreshing to see one of these older retired athletes who actually STILL has his money. I always liked George. Always seemed like a class act in and out of the ring. Good for him to to be doing so good. BTW awesome collection.
Chuck English - exactly! He doesn’t love cars, he isn’t a “car guy,” he just has lots of money. He said he didn’t know how many cars he has! Jay Leno has over 200 cars. He could not only name every one, but probably tell you the last time each one had it’s old changed. “Oh I don’t drive them, I just look at them.” #1 car guy sin right there.
Crazy how someone always has that one special car, that's not so special a car value wise but brings back memories that keep them humble. You can drive all the new cars but don't touch this Beetle.🙏
Love his son, what a sense of humor. Why isn't the son in the movie business? This video should have been longer. The interview should have been absolutely longer with George Sr. and George the 4th, his son, with more of the car collection.
I daily drive my old beat up ford F150 truck. My Jeep wrangler, Cadillac, Jaguar, Corvette, and Bentley just stays parked with car covers on them. I don't drive them much because after awhile it's just a hassle to worry about them everyday 😅😅😅
Very impressive I'm a car guy myself I've had numerical cars over the years I am a retired fabricator and George has a nice collection wouldn't mind driving a few lol
I didn't see his Ferrari F-40 or yellow Diablo spider, I wonder if those were sold? I worked at a shop that serviced them in Houston circa 2003 when Foreman had them flat bedded in from Kingwood.

I'm so glad he's got his faculties still & looks healthy. He had some tough fights, great to see him happy & with wealth, well done George Foreman.

Amazing this man is still coherent...He took some brutal head punishment in his days...God Bless this man!
I've never been a fan of boxing but I really like George Sr. He does a lot for the community and seems very genuine.
Like most fighters of his era, he was ripped off by that weasel promoter King. He deserves all of his success and more.
