Had sent this stuff to my mother( very catholic ) and she found it hillarious. Only complaint was, that she's not catching all the jokes, cause it was 'too fast speaking' for her( she've decided to have a try on the old spanish,you know, in her hopefully long latest years, she spend here on earth, so she is strangling a bit to understand the good ol' english ). Translated and explained it to her and she was really giggling and laughing.
Father Ted returning/sent back to Craggy island is in a two minute intro before the opening credits of episode 1 of series 1 but most reactors start at the opening credits/theme tone. There are 3 series with around 22 episode's with a longer Christmas episode.

2:10 I remember when he died. I had literally seen him promoting it on the TV in an advert on the Friday, and then it being announced he'd died the following day, it was so sad. I'm glad he got to play out the whole show, but I do always wonder what else he might have done.
Sadly he could of survived longer if stopped filming for a bit as dougal's father said that Dermot looked unwell and recommended he see a doctor (dougal's father think is a retired doctor at the time before filmed last 2 days)
Father Jack reminds me exactly of the priest at my uncle's funeral who looked for all the world like he was just shaken out of a drunken stupor moments before the eulogy!
I was trying to think of Irish comedies and you're right it is the best. I can only think of two others, Mrs Brown's Boys and The Derry Girls. If you can think of any others let me know?
