Hi Eddy, you're right in a way, Glasgow is more "street" than Edinburgh, and tends to be more urban in general, probably because Glasgow is quite a bit larger than Edinburgh, although, as you will find out soon, Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in the world (and this from a Weegie) the old town, and royal mile, is like walking through a fairy tale. We expect videos and a full report! goan yersel big man.
Around the 5:55 mark the word you're painfully trying to say is Blether which means a chat and can also be used to describe a talkative person i.e: That Eddy fella is a bit of a blether 😂
Eddy. Yer right about the wee Ned’s scamming. I lived in about 35 miles from Glasgow and as a youngster in the early 1970s my best mate and I, would put on our army cadet uniforms, then we’d go around the hotels tapping the guests doors with our own home made charity boxes. We’d make a £3 or £4 pounds a week each (quite a lot of money back then). It was a nice wee earner for young lads. 😇😇
I haven't been able to walk for over 4 weeks, got my results back, not as bad as i thought, arthritis. It's been a nightmare to sleep, but now on the right meds. And so utterly happy my family surround me. They've been brilliant. Family is everything. ❤
Has your GP referred you to a specialist to see if an arthroscopy will help? I've got the same issues in both knees. I've had that operation on the one that was the worst, it worked well. Now I'm going to see if I can get my other one done. And they said all my life to exercise. I played basketball for England as a teen, got offered a scholarship in the States (sadly I failed the medical, because they even told me back then I was a high arthritis risk, and the 3 colleges who wanted me didn't want to to spend that kind of money on a scholarship for me). I ran half marathons, marathons, long distance cross country, trail running etc. Up until 45 years old (that's when my left knee gave up the ghost and I couldn't even walk). I certainly feel your pain. I have to sleep with a pillow between my knees. And be careful of the meds you're on. If they're Ibuprofen based, the GP will eventually take you off of them for addiction risks. Good luck. And you're so right about family. I'd be lost without my adult daughter and son. He's currently down from University, so we've had a good few hours watching Eddy's videos together so he can catch up lol
Nice to have you back Eddy!!! Great to get back to our still game 😂😂😂 and yes up the duff is pregnant 🤰 also can't wait for you next trip to Scotland ❤
Things to do in Edinburgh, the Ghost Bus Tour is excellent. The Castle costs a lot to get in and you'd waste half a day there, I wouldn't bother. The Scott Monument is only £3 to get in. Places to eat: The Mosque Kitchen, Auld Hoose, Sea Dogs.
Aww Eddie your going to burn yourself out with all this travelling 😂 need to slow down lol while your in Edinburgh have a look for the Greyfriars Bobby statue , look it up and see the story behind it , enjoy yourself , stay safe ✌🏻

I have been absolutely addicted to your reactions to this great Scottish export, Eddie. I love it when you get honest and deep with us when you can relate to the more serious moments, and you always give out wise advice that sticks with us. I absolutely can't wait for your reaction to the after credits clip of season 5 episode 1. That is one of the most cherished moments of the series, and there is a fun fact that the editors had to lower the sound editing of the audience because of how hysterical the reaction was to it. I don't want to spoil too much, but I just want to let you know that season 5 episode 1 titled 'Drama' is a legendary episode.
When you're in Edinburgh, take a walk through Dean Village, along the river, and into Stockbridge. Remember though, the village isn't a tourist attraction and people live there, so don't look in thier windows.

There’s another directly opposite there too that u might want a quick wander round (these are all free entry btw) but defo worth checking out.. further down the street u will come to the Scottish parliament building ..across from that holyrood palace where the queen used to stay when she was up here .. then just right of there u got Arthur’s seat which is a huge hill that used to be a volcano once apparently lol … but yea there’s so much more to see and do here but impossible to fit everything into one day 👍 on another note that was probably the funniest episode yet , almost every line and scene was hilarious , the wee neds were spot on too.. I remember going to school with guys actually like that 🤣🤣 Ps u will be fine to wear the 2 pints prick top .. have seen that for sale in tourist shops people will love it tho 👍👍
