David seemed shy. I recall that Jerry considered him "a monster" axe man. What a great performance by all, as usual.

That's most likely a replica of Alligator, as many of those are sold.
It’s Jerry’s strat. There were photos of it backstage with members of Los Lobos. I believe Hildago played it too.
Jerry gave Hildago one of his strats in the 80s- there was a lot of mutual respect between them.
@@davids6652 I stand corrected. However, Hidalgo does not own the guitar; Andy Logan does. He lent it to Hidalgo for the concert.
@@philiptone4709 agreed, it’s privately owned. There’s a video and interview on RUclips of Mr Logan presenting the orig guitar to the replica designer. Apparently for $20k you can buy a replica of Jerry’s alligator Strat! I believe Steve Parish was shown the orig guitar as well.

@@philiptone4709 Oh man that would be very cool! I believe Jerry gave David one of his other Strats in the 90s backstage at a Bay Area Los lobos show which is his favorite guitar amongst 100s to this day. I saw Los Lobos in Pittsburgh last fall and they still kick ass live. Los Lobos, GD/Jerry are at the top of my list for favorite live bands. Saw the GD/JGB around 40 times between 84-95 and had some incredible times.
