this video was an editing nightmare 😭 some of the music video isn't synced up to my head nodding or facial expressions...oh well. I'm tired and angry at my computer lol I tried my best
Not sure what you were talking about. Your reactions to the music seemed in sync. However, the last 30 seconds or so did that video glitching thing you have had issues with. You may have internet issues. I suggest running a speed test to be sure. Next if that is not the case, you have a PC issue. Could be many things. I am a PC wizard and am willing to help with that but I need an alternate way to communicate and advise if you are interested. No charge. Would be my contribution to the channel.
An emotionally charged banger! ⚡ Fun Facts: Over 50 people drove out into the middle of nowhere, in a Mexican Desert outside of their home city. They spent the entire day & night erecting the set, and filming it in temps well over 100*f. When they left the site, all they left behind was the charcoal fire ring ash, and tire tracks from the fleet of trucks they had. A pilot of an ultra-lite aircraft discovered the location on a flyby, and returned to document the site. He showed how respectful The Warning's crew was to nature. This song is one of many of theirs made for the audience to join in and chant along with them. Perfect Anthem song, for a stadium filled with adoring active concert fans. If you ever get a chance, watch videos from fall of 2023 in Argentina. The entire sold out crowd became one, as they chanted and moved in unison for Martirio. Simply amazing to see.
@@randymarple9830Both of his videos are amazing. That type of engagement with their fans screams volumes to how much they mean to them. I truly feel they are a once in a generation gift to humanity. To the new fan, that will sound weird AF, but after a little time, it will ring true for them. lol
English Spanish...bring it on...Narcisista is really good too.2 new songs drop Friday 8th. But the best thing is that they're in Europe...then 15 minutes away from me. I work across the parking lot. Free parking. My prayers have been answered!!! See you ladies in September!!! Hell yeah!!! 🫶🤘⚡️
Good reaction. The pavilion originally had solid cloth sides and roof to shade them from the sun. The wind shredded them. It was hot and windy on this shoot. Also, Monica, their mom, is one of the anonymous people in black.
Martirio = Martyrdom. This is one of my favorite songs, period. Even though I need to run the lyrics through a google translator which is probably not accurate, the music and the performance perfectly convey the heart and soul of this song. The same goes for their live performances because they are so expressive on stage, particularly Dany's expressions when she's singing.
One of my favorite moments from the Teatro concert is during this song. It's only a few seconds but when Ale and Pau are interacting with each other, like they often do. The camera quickly pans to Dany, who's watching their moment grinning from ear to ear like the proud big sister she is. Since this was the second to last song of the performance Dany and especially Pau were getting quite emotional, while Ale remained cool as a cucumber for her sisters to rely on of course. I love their interactions and respective parts they fulfill probably just as much as their music. See if you can spot these moments when you watch it! Enjoyed your reaction as always and welcome back flappy eared hat. 😁
Martirio = martyrdom. The song calls out persons who live life as a martyr (victim). The video was shot in the Icamole desert north of Monterrey, Mexico. The women in the video are the girls, their mom, a cousin, and a friend. When they returned home they were covered in sand and dust.
Hell You Call A Dream and Qué Más Quieres (what else do you want) release Friday March 8th. Narcistisa from the Teatro concert Pau goes full frontwoman. Amazing performance.
another good OMV DPA/TW did was way back when they were still doing covers... they shot the OMV for their cover of the Foo Fighter's *The Pretender* in the beautiful hills near their hometown of Monterrey, Mexico... very very well done for only four takes and one camera...like most of their OMVs, low budget, solid impact... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
You are on a roll! Another banger! But, that’s kinda what it is with this band. I’ve been down the rabbit hole for about three or four months now, I’ve downloaded absolutely everything they have. Sure, there are some songs that I like more than others, but I have yet to find a bad song. Everything belongs. This one hits hard every time I see it. I couldn’t imagine being in an audience in Mexico and hearing this. Check out the live version of this at Teatro Metropolitan. You can see Pau get very emotional during the performance. From what I understand, it really hit her hard hearing the audience sing it back to them. Thank you, Jess. You’re doing a great job!
Great reaction, language doesn’t matter as much with music, when it sounds this good the words are much less important. If you’re keen to understand it then you can always go to the translation of it. More please 🌹 Narcissista is the other Spanish one until tomorrow, well worth looking at!
in the OMV, the covering over the building frame was not supposed to be shredded... it was assembled whole but the winds had other ideas so DPA/TW and the team decided not to fight it... the flapping canvas makes for a nice atmosphere and works pretty well for this for the video and what the song represents... this is not the first time they've had to deal with the winds, either... one or two of their other MVs that were shot outside were also on windy days... their Foo Fighters cover of *The Pretender* comes to mind... there were also comments about how the blowing sand stung and caused them to feel like they had a sunburn... they did a great and professional job, that's for sure 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
I've always been impressed by TW's mvs. From The Pretender (Foo Fighters' cover, their first professional mv imo), to XXI Century Blood (which won awards at film festivals), to Evolve (low budget per Dany, well it doesn't look like it) to S!CK (lotta buzz about that one). And yes Martirio is artistic, beautiful, and rockin! Enjoying your reactions 🙌 🔥🤘
This is a fantastic stadium anthem. It is especially good when they close their shows in Spanish-speaking countries with this song. Everyone, and I mean everyone, sings along at the top of their voices. The ending vocalizations with thousands of audience members singing along is a concert experience not to miss.
Lyrically it sort of tells us not to be a martyr of our own making, to take charge and rise above our circumstances. There are lines in there that say things like go ahead, surrender to your fate, but then in the end it say "silly martyr," so they are basically telling us to take charge and not be like a martyr. I believe in Spanish it means slightly different than a literal translation would suggest. The hut with the streaming white sheets is so gorgeous and it was not intended that way, the wind just ripped the sheets to shreds quite quickly, and that's great because it looks so cool. Thanks, another great song from them.
Very hot and very windy. And wasps! Probably their biggest video production to date, they usually go with less costly ways to get a video done, like the videos for Sick, More, Evolve, or Error.
Saludos
Love your reaction to my favorite band. A special song for them. They get emotional at the end on the live version at the Teatro, Pau tears up, Love Dany's guitar, and yell at the end. Thanks for sharing.
This is a rock anthem for sure and is one of my favorite songs even though I do not speak a word of Spanish. I would say also react to the version at the Teatro Metropolitan but that is up to you. Great reaction and can't wait to see more.
Great reaction. Keep going! Don't sweat the video at this point. I'm sure you will master it. 🙂 Martirio is tied for my favorite TW track. It's such a great song. And that groove that Pau created is one of her best! ⚡⚡⚡
You have it exactly right. it's about self-martyrdom or always playing the victim. Their lyrics are always masterful and meaningful. They have a 3rd Spanish song coming out Friday. 'Que Mas Quieres'. As well as 'Hell You Call a Dream'.
Apparently the video was a nightmare to make, what with the heat and the wind, those amazing pavillion shredded in the win shots were not planned, they were making do with what they had for example. But it came out as one of their best videos, it's an amazing song. Find a bad song from them. I dare you :)
to me, it seems to be about the downward spiral of self sacrificing (for others) to the point that you know no other way to live and it makes you resentful, self important, and bitter, and you become the victim of your own delusional thinking as a tragic hero, but end up looking foolish all the while. buuut....I think that's because I'm projecting my own experience with people who do that in their lives so that's what I thought of when I read the lyrics
If you're having trouble pronouncing Spanish words, just remember the vowels are pronounced consistently the same...an "A" is ah, a soft A, not hard. "E" is eh...and so on, unlike english which has many variations to each vowel. There are many other languages that pronounce their vowels similarly; Hawaiian, Japanese, Italian, etc.
this video was an editing nightmare 😭 some of the music video isn't synced up to my head nodding or facial expressions...oh well. I'm tired and angry at my computer lol I tried my best

All good
They don't have a bad song. And I've listened to all there albums. Hottest girl band I've come across in my long life. Peace ✌️

The Teatro performance of Narcisista is fire. Pau shows she could easily be a full time lead vocalist.
@@TheCorpsehatch absolutely...that's my favorite performed song. She was unshackled from her drum set and let free!!! So fun to watch!!!

I don't speak Spanish but this is one of my favorite songs ever.. I really like the live version from The Metropolitan Theater.. 💥🤯🤘🎶✌️
The lyric is very good
Even though my grasp of Spanish is pretty limited, this is one of my favorite The Warning songs! Martirio has stadium anthem written all over it!
They could absolutely do movie scores, any time they are asked. This has epic anthem written all over it.

It was indeed very windy that day... They all got sandblasted!!!
I recommend checking out Dany singing this a capella. Very impressive and you'll get a look at her off stage personality. Charismatic to the max.
Agreed! Dany sings it so sweetly like a lullaby at first, then goes right into rockstar mode!🤘⚡
