    Great spending the week with you. I haven't been able to make my creams and face wash for a couple of years due to a traumatic situation. However, watching your week made me want to get back into my happy space again. My mum is going to be so happy with her face cream. Thank you.

    Thank you again for another wonderful vlog, glad the nerve pain went away most unexpectedly! I too, used to make my own potions but I now diverged into making crafts, which are a lot easier to sell than cosmetics. I am still enjoying watching you and I very much admire your resilience. Lots of love

      Thank you 🧡 it took a while for the ache to go, but I'm feeling much better now.
      Selling handmade in Australia is very difficult no matter the craft.

      Thank you 🧡 it was a rough week for sure but all the pain was gone by Monday thanks to cleaning the wall. The roadworks have been delayed due to rain so I think it will be another week.
      The coconut soap feels so lovely and I'll be working on making it without the exfoliant this week

    Oh my, you poor thing Keeley, intense pain that stops you doing things is so hard and I am amazed you got so much done with your pain, well done!! Like you, I have for the last few months had so many enquiries for essential oils, and really don't want to get into selling them, but thinking that with so many enquiries, that maybe I should. There is obviously a need. I have been making up my shower gel/body wash in small batches as it is not something that sells quickly down here - customers tend to prefer my soaps rather than using the body wash. But I do love the fact that you can master batch it and then just make what fragrance you need when you need it. Hoping that the shoulder pain goes completely away shortly. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing what you get up to next month. 💖💖🤗🤗✨✨

      Thankfully, the cleaning of the walls really did untrap that nerve. I live with pain most days, but this was intense and frustrating as it was hindering me a lot. But glad I got through the week and the pain has now gone.
      If I do essential oils, it will only be the ones generally regarded as safe. 🧡

    My goodness what a rough week you had wow that attitude soap is just beautiful that emerald colour is so beautiful. im the complete opposite i enjoy the sound of lawnmower but can’t stand whipper sniper drives my ears crazy since they are quiet sensitive anyway yay looking forward to march vlog since it is my birthday month

      It was definitely a tiring week 😴 but I was happy with what was achieved.
      The whipper snippet drives me more insane than a lawn mower, especially when you have a neighbour who doesn't hold the on button on and it keeps stop starting 😆 don't even get me started on leaf blowers 😞 but I do love the sound of the vacuum and apparently as a baby, it would put me to sleep 😂

    Keeley, do you have Chiropractors down there? I had finally gone to one (took me a long time because I didn't trust them) for pain in my neck and shoulder after a sudden movement getting out of bed. Boy I can't tell you how glad I was. I actually cried because of the instant relief. He thought I was still in pain and no it was because of th relief. He wouldn't work on me till he took an xray to make sure I wasn't injured & he could work on me, for which I was very glad. I had very badly pinched nerves he said.
    Hope you start feeling better.
    Cheers 👍🤗

      We do have Chiropractors but they're expensive. I knew it would release eventually as it's not the first time I've done it. My GP believes I have trapped Ulna nerves which possibly needs surgery but that's months (up to a year) of no work 😞

    Thanks for another hard work to let us enjoy an hour and a half relaxing vlog but i felt sorry to hear that you worked too hard & the shoulder pain caught u, i know how it feels.... luckily good luck always come on good people, your hardwork get paid with a pop & relieved muscle 😂 Well from the earrings sharing we have more things in common, I've a wardrobe just for earrings and my hubby often teases me that how come I can have so many pairs when I only have 2 ear hole pierces😂
    P.S.it was so excited to see a full range of body washes like 🌈 at 1:21:08 .

    Just wondering if you have thought about purchasing a water distiller? I got one and it is great..no more having to go to the store or wasting the jugs. In about 4 hours I have a gallon on distilled water!

    • @SoyandShea
      @SoyandShea  4 месяца назад

      It is something I've been looking at. I just need to work out how much it costs to produce the water. How much the tap water is, the electricity and time plus how long before the machine pays for itself. It needs to be less than what I pay currently. I could make it with my still but it takes too long

      @nancyfranklin7251 definitely something to consider but do need to work out costs. I only pay $1/l so need to make sure it's worth it 😉 the size I'd need is about AU$180

    I really, really enjoy your vlogs. You’re so smart and capable. Question, do you ever put the extra half-bottle worth of gel serum into tiny sample size pots l? Lush gave me some skincare samples with a purchase recently & I thought that was genius.

      Thank you for watching 🧡 I generally always make a little more of a product than I need just in case I spill when packaging. I do several things with the leftover depending on what's needed. Sometimes, I use the leftover to make my shelf testers, and other times, I put in small sachets to put in as samples with orders. All my online orders get samples, and I give them out in-store if people are interestedin a product but not sure about purchasing. Occasionally, I use the leftover to top up my personal products at home.

    Hi Keeley do you have some information on your new half boxes you used for your soaps in this one? I have done a search but found the full boxes video from last May. The half one box with additional stickers look like a good idea. Thanks in advance.

      The boxes I had done for my decorative soaps are known as holster boxes. You generally have to get them custom-made. I've never seen blanks of this style.

      I use the National Shrinkwrap Machine which I imported from USA. It's definitely worth the money and works put cheaper than using shrink bags.

    What is a sugar soap?

    • @SoyandShea
      @SoyandShea  4 месяца назад +3

      Sugar soap is a cleaning product often used to clean walls before painting. It removes all the greasy and grime on walls.
