I'm traveling to Prague tomorrow from The Netherlands. I've been to Prague many years ago as a toddler, however I can't remember any of that. So I'm going there again. Watching these videos really make me look forward to going there.

Hubby and I tried out Cafe Foyer at the Hlavní Nádraží (Prague Central Station) a few weeks ago. HIGHLY highly recommend. Especially for a lunch (they do lasagne).
The Automat Matuska 6:32 is a great place for a beer. I discovered it accidentally when visiting Pivovar Bubenec, my destination the day I visited that I was going to specifically one day, which is a smaller brewery taproom type pub, which had amazing food.
Unfortunately, we didn’t visit any of these places this past week. Your city is beautiful and we took advantage of many of your tips. Thank you, Connie from Kentucky.
City is beautiful but as far as mynpersonal experience is overcrowded and city guides are simply bad at thier work.They certainly don't do the city a great service.
I discovered the Písecká Brána cafe by chance at the beginning of July. I walked up to the castle from Hradčanská, stopped at the cafe for a lemonade and hid from the rain there before continuing up to the Belvedere and the castle gardens, and down into Jelení Příkop. I was really trying to avoid the tourist crowds and it was nice to see landmarks from a different angle.

These places look so stunning. Even in the city where I live in there are plenty of hidden gems, but unfortunately there are some deprived and abandoned places. The local government actually managed to renovate some of them, but it looks so terrible. Prague has a lot of green areas, not in my city tough.

Yes, they were condiments. These lines aren't the usual way you'd get your condiments, you're more likely to get them in small bowls. They were just being fancy.
At the Prosek district? I dated my wife there... nice place, view, good food, adrenaline. Afternoons are a bit crowded. Check their website event calendar before your visit for sure restaurant or ride will not be reserved. For me 8/10.

We went to the Automat Matuška last Saturday and were disappointed. Had great expectations after seeing this video. Minimum attention to the client, regular food and very,very pricy. Also, the first time I had to pay 2 times in the same restaurant: once for drinks and once for the food. It was the absolute opposite of what you show in this video, so it makes one think.... What`'s the deal here? ;) The day before we had lunch in the U Stupartu (center of Prague), food was better and less pricy. Cheers from Spain
You are misinterpreting. Honza has a wife and Janek has a girlfriend. On that photo, there's also the back of Honza's wife's head. Janek is just congratulating him there as a groomsman, possibly even his best man.

Hey, i saw in an earlier video of yours about the pid litacka and wanted to ask if it is possible to use it to take a train to dresden. I cant figure it out for myself because the app is mostly in czech. Thank you.
PID litacka only covers the area around Prague (the Central Bohemian Region). It's possible you could get part of your ticket with it and the rest elsewhere but it would be more complicated and it may also just not be available on these long distance fast trains.
Good. They will still be gems, but they may also get more visitors. The train station coffee place or the gate restaurant being so empty is almost criminal. Just so you know, they always make sure that the places are okay with being featured on the show, so they never show a place where they would hate the extra attention.

Tourist trap is burrito loco. I went there twice and I'm from California. It did not hit the spot. It's a good attempt though. You can only do so much with the ingredients available.
Maybe 10 years ago when I was in Prague, a professor showed us a great coffee place in the opera near the Charles university. The city is full of gems most of the tourists don't know about but I guess that's why they are gems. If everybody starts crowding at those places, their charm will be ruined.

That English breakfast in gram looked better than some breakfasts I get here in England lol
Because it is probably more expensive, this one is almost 12 GBP, while I had a decent full English breakfast in Manchester last year of 8 GPB

I used MasterCard to pay in Prague, no charges from my bank
