I've never commented on a video but I had to say how grateful I am for you sharing this vlog. My mum was also diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of the pandemic and it can be an incredibly isolating time especially when shielding while the rest of the world begins to go back to normal. I've watched you for so many years now and always felt like we would be such good friends aha! But seeing you handle a situation like this has resinated we me even deeper. Sending every bit of love to you and your family at this unimaginable time, thank you so much for still working despite everything that is going on, so inspiring xxx
Don’t worry Jess, when my dad was sick I completely lost the ability to concentrate. All I could do was watch “Big Bang Theory”. There is only so much the mind can take in and process so please don’t pressure yourself at the moment and do whatever the heck helps you relax and get through the days... it will return, I promise 😘
I’ve completely lost it on the reading front too... last year I read a book a week... this year I’ve read 6 and I keep dipping in and out of lots of different ones which I usually never do! Cannot get stuck in. Sending virtual hugs to you xx
Love 😍 makes me miss London so MUCH. Haven’t been there since 2013. Sad. Also Jess your outfits are always stunning & unique & I’m constantly in awe of them (and you, duh)
omg thank you for this video. hope you're doing well Jess ^ (and pls don't apologize for not wearing makeup, you look good with and without, you don't need to justify anything to us)
Your videos are always the highlight of my weeks! Love seeing the world through your eyes (and your books!). So grateful for all of your uploads and posts during this crazy time and hope you’re doing okay! Sending lots of love from Seattle. xx
Hi Jess! you might enjoy more story driven games! some even have multiple endings based on your choices, one I'd suggest is Night in the Woods which is more in the mystery genre
Legend of Zelda is so good! I got sucked in and couldn't do anything else for a few weeks! I can completely relate to the reading slump too, it's really tough to keep concentration going at the moment. I have just started 'Love and other thought experiments' by Sophie Ward from the longlist and I have to say, I am loving it so far!
Haa this made me miss London so freaking much ! (I live in Switzerland but used to go there pretty often because my cousins lived there for a while). And don't worry I've totally been in a reading slump since the beginning of covid really, I feel like a lot of readers have been struggling this year !
Can't believe how so few people are talking about 16:40 'not a good look' look. I don't think I have seen Jess anything but poised, let alone with a slightly goofy facial caricature. It was so cute!
Oh my god I am so happy you love this game ! You'll unfortunately be addicted to the Zelda franchise, they are really good games, like no others ! Sending you love ❤️
Omg I would have never imagined you playing video games, and a switch!! I also play animal crossing, I love decorating my houses but not so much the exterior. I've also played zelda breath of the wild but I didn't finish It, I'm too scared to fight the robots with lasers. Seriously, you need some courage to play this game!
I'm so happy to hear you will read the manbooker list this month! I am especially curious to hear your thoughts on Sophie Ward's Love and other thought experiments. I personally loved it. A mix of Philosophy, sci-fi fiction :)
Sounds silly but as a Colombian, I got extremely excited about the Colombian Coffee shop. Who knew you could get Colombian bread and Agua de Panela in London?
I have a beauty launderette milky moisturiser which is nice ^^ I also loved my DS! I've always had handheld gaming devices too! BOTW is a stunning game!
Zelda is one of my favorite games as well! try overwatch if you like fps games. Also its so weird you posted a video today because last night I had a dream that I met you haha 😅
You should play The Last of Us, (and the last of us 2) it is really great - I am not a gaming person either, but absolutely loved those! Some of the greatest stories written
Breath of the wild is the best game ever (and I don't play games) my eldest son got me into it.. The graphics are breathtaking! Also they are bringing out a new one very soon 😁😏
are people in the uk just not wearing mask? not you guys! just the ppl in the background - i was shocked to see them cooking in the markets with no mask on, in the us that would make me feel uncomfortable
Yeaaa in Lisbon i always feel bad for shop assistants and those working in restaurants etc. because I couldn’t imagine wearing a mask for so many hours per day but I suppose it keeps us safe so.
i've only seen people wear masks when they get on public transport. unfortunately, I don't see many people wearing them when they're just walking about. obviously, that is not safe at all. :(
I find it so funny when RUclipsrs say that they are sorry that they didn’t read ‘much’ this month and turns out they read 30 books and all of them hardcore ones. 🤣 And here I am, who if reads 3 fiction books in a month, feels so accomplished that doesn’t read for the next 4 months 😂😂😂
@@jesswoolley0409 I'm not judging. Its good to see a young person wearing a mask and disposable are required in the type of situations you mentioned. However Jess is not in a hospital in these videos.Sorry to hear about your father. Mine also has cancer .
"Hi my loves" from Jess sounds like a cold gentle breeze on a warm day

Sending good vibes to your mum! It’s coming up to my mums 3 year death anniversary from cancer I wouldn’t wish it on anyone 💔 much love xxx
I can’t imagine what this must be like. Sending you and your family soo much love, I truly hope you’re coping well, as well as you can❤️
🙏🏽

Always a good day when there is a new Jess Vlog.
Also it made me really happy to see colombian coffee and that small colombian coffee shop
Never been to London but I love how it looks so much more spaced out than nyc. Seems like you actually get some room to breathe.
St Dunstan's is gorgeous I popped in for a visit a couple weeks ago, so peaceful!
omg thank you for this video. hope you're doing well Jess ^ (and pls don't apologize for not wearing makeup, you look good with and without, you don't need to justify anything to us)

The same thing happens to me , sometimes it takes me ages to finish a book but really only when the book is slow.

here in Edinburgh, not many people wear masks out on the streets! (only in shops/transport) It's definitely uncomfortable in these scary times. : /

Why would we wear masks when it doesn’t help??

I think you look refreshing without make up on. Enjoyed the vlog though.
Jess you are so beautiful 🤯
How irresponsible of the baristas not wearing masks! They’re handling food 🤦🏻♀️
Surprised to see you wearing a disposable mask. I would have thought you would have been more eco conscious.
AthynVixen please don’t be so quick to judge. I have to wear disposable masks around my dad who is high risk because he has cancer.
