I started making Korean food at the start of covid. One of the first things I tried was Ramen eggs (marinated eggs). I now make them every week. They are versatile and simply lovely. BUT- you have showcased just how wonderful Asian eggs recipes can be. Thank you. I have endless respect for how Asian cuisine treats the humble eggs. Thank you for sharing these recipes. Can’t wait to try them.
I love all yr egg recipes. I normally cook curry or dhal, indian gravy with my eggs. I love d korean eggs especially. Thank you so much. Never knew i can get such delicious egg recipes from a western woman. ❤
Your channel is such a gem ! I was struggling to find asian, yet legit but easy recipees. Sometimes it's hard to get proper ingredients and it can be overwhelming but with your videos I started to actually prepare different plates and all of them are super yummy and well explained! Good job 👏
I love eggs and how versatile they are for all meals. You can use them for literally breakfast, lunch and dinner 🤤 Thank you for these fast and easy egg recipes Marion!
I did the steamed egg with spicy pork. I followed the recipe exactly, knowing that my brand of Doubanjiang and soy sauce were very salty, haha. I will remember to reduce the amount by half next time. A wonderful and yummy recipe that will be one of my favorites for a long time! Thank you ♥
I cooked the Steamed Egg Custard & Spicy Pork yesterday, and it was amazing. I had enough of the pork leftover have with sourdough toast, wilted spinach and, yes, a crispy fried egg on the top. Result! 😍
Marion, I hope you dont mind me saying the following. You always give us wonderful, delicious recipes that always work and taste amazing; AND you always give us your effortless glam and fabulous style. Love you babes, always a treat to see your videos out 😘
I used to order Egg Foo Yung all the time in Vancouver back in the mid 70's, from a joint on Davie Street called "Hong Kong Kitchen", but they added crispy bean sprouts at the end. YUM! Thanks for the recipe!
@@Natalie-health-wellness thank you, I'm sure they're all good. I usually have a mediocre plate of food in front of me and watching Marion eats hers!!! I enjoy vicariously !!!😊
Eggs! Yay! Funny thing is, I just bought myself three sweet little chickens, and I have been going through your channel for recipes with eggs like fried rice etc. And now you upload this video with perfect timing :D Thank you :)
Neither have I! I never even hear anything about them. I don't have a streamer but I'm interested in getting one just because of this video! (I'll skip the prawns tho!)
Woooooow 😋😋😋😋😋 this is so yummy 🤤🤤🤤 by the way tonight I cook your handmade pull noodle recipe so tasty so yummy thank you so much Marion ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉🎉
I don't really like eggs that much, but I do make them occasionally since they are healthy and quick to make. These recipes look amazing and will up my egg-game for sure :) The marinated eggs look delish.
Yum, yum, yum, and yum (one yum for each recipe!). I adore eggs and will enjoy trying all of these recipes. While I've made soy marinated eggs before, I haven't done them with all the extras, so can't wait to try that, too! Would definitely love to see more egg recipes, too 😋❤
I've been scoffing drug eggs for years now - and if you'e somewhere where avocados are abundant or cheap - trust me! Run, don't walk! Make it the same way with avocado too. Sprinkle the avocado with chopped salted peanuts and you have one hell of a breakfast/lunch. Add a fried egg for a quick delicious dinner. They both last nearly a week in the fridge so batch prepping lasts for a week and have easy meals ready!
I love avocado... Have it with my eggs and cherub tomatoes all the time. So yummy... That would be amazing done this way! Where has this channel and this way of cooking been all my life???
Gosh, these all look so delicious! Things I never would've thought of! I'm glad my friend turned me on to your channel! I just watched your chicken breast with the miso video, my first of your videos, and I subscribed immediately! You make it look like I could do this... Easy! At least the couple of videos I've seen so far. Love your shirt in this one!
We eat a lot of Japanese meals. So we eat a lot of eggs. I didn’t eat an egg for 46 years because both parents were gone very young from heart disease. Eggs were full of Cholesterol that they now tell us was a mistake. They do have a lot of Cholesterol but it is a good kind that doesn’t make bad Cholesterol. So I am trying all of these. Thank you. ❤
For the Korean eggs, can you cook them a bit more? I really, really, really don't like soft boiled eggs. The recipe sounds great, though. And the beef-egg custard sounds delicious. Thanks for the reminder that egg foo young is so easy to do. I forget about it, as I am by myself and it really doesn't do well as a left over.
I am sorry . Is it only my problem? I gagged when I had the Korean eggs. I couldn't stand the hint of sweetnees in the eggs. I usually am not very fussy. To reiterate is it a problem with my palate?
No offense, but that's an incredibly rude question to ask someone you don't know and who doesn't know you. If she wants to share any news with her subscribers, she will. Until then, mind your business.
I love all these ideas with egg, I love everything Asian food lol, the egg custard is not my cup of tea but I would definitely try the others 😘😘 The mayak eggs… would you hear them up when eating, or leave cold?
@@bettyand42 thank you for replying … I was thinking it would over cook the eggs if I heat them. I wouldn’t enjoy it cold, might leave them at room temp 😁👍🏼

Egg foo young or "fuyong tan" is very common in Malaysia. "Fuyong" or "furong" is the Chinese name of my hometown Seremban. Glad to see it here.

You may consider to leave the cover of bamboo steamer lifted abit so that The steam egg has a soft smooth and shiny texture

It's like a meme here in Portugal that you can tell a recipe is Portuguese if there's an egg in there somewhere in some form.
😆 I didn’t know that! How fun!

Same with Korea

I would maybe grind the szechuan peppercorns. Eating them whole might be a bit too much for the tongue lol😅
Korean here!
“ geh - lahn “ is essentially how you pronounce the word egg in korean
Awesome!!! Thank you!
Love eggs , loved this video 💯

The marinated eggs kind of look like you peeled an egg just for the shell to grow back in lol. I must give them a try they look so good.

You could definitely cook the boiled eggs how you like them! :-)
Yes, you can cook the eggs to a firm yolk. When you break open the egg, pour the marinade into the firm yolks and let it soften. It’s so good!
How do you check the recipie?
Gye-ran = (ke)tchup + I(ran) Aussie pronunciation only

I'm confused 🤷♀️ are you filming in front of a green screen or is there something wrong with the focus???
Drunk egg sounds tasty
I don't know about using whole peppercorns in the egg dish....biting into a peppercorn is disastrous
It would be such a nuissance to remove the peppercorns

leave them cold but serve over hot rice (heating up the eggs would likely end up overcooking them)
