    Can SOMEONE tell me why their mellos sound so much more like french horns compared to other corps? The sound is so much darker.

      A lot is based on the concept of sound we stress across all dynamics, especially at the top end. Equipment helps, but mainly the approach and pedagogy, breathing, vowel shape is a big part of that.

      In - theory honestly i think that its a little too staccato. Its so short you kinda lose the notes. They are ment to be short, but not that short. But other than that, its better than i can do so i really cant complain.

      cuber-t they are most likely compensating for field position so it sounds correct in the stadium.
