0:25 - extra three counts that makes this waltz difficult do dance on phrases. I prefer not to put such tracks on competitions. Especially for high class couples who not only count, but listen a music.
High-class dancers would know how to deal with that situation. Smart dancers can lengthen their figures to cover more bars. Removing, 3 beats at 0:25 actually disrupts the flow of the music. In fact, there is no rule dictating that the waltz music has to be constantly at 4 or 8 bars structures. They only say 28-30 bars/min. Strict structure music (4 bars intro followed by patterns of 8 or 16 bars) would be used for "sequence dancing"
@@dancesportdjice I didn't say that it violates rules. Anyway, you should know the track before, just to keep in mind that it will have unexpected changes. It is not so critical for slow waltz, but in quickstep (like Despacito), especially at the begin of the track it disturbs a lot. I was lucky to dance Despacito qs on a competition in class group but I heard it before on warmup. Other couples didn't fit the beat. (like here ruclips.net/video/Hl5d6B5zTnY/видео.html)
@@djantebe8421 if you mute the music, can you tell which dance they are doing w/o look at the feet? how do you express your emotions if you don't follow the music? if your movement don't follow the waltz music, why call it a waltz. the character is waltz is romantic, you don't rush rush with my girlfriend or wife, do you?
@@slam5 I have got no idea what you wanted to say in the last sentence, but if you intend to win the ballroom competition you must somehow show off. Quick movements do that
@@djantebe8421 well that's the problem. There is more than winning in competitive dancing. You haven't answer my question on what's the difference between waltz or slow foxtrot? from how this couple is dancing, there is no difference.
I completely agree. People who make SW out of VW are incredible. I can't even imagine how do they do it. Even more impressively is the fact, that there are some pieces in 3/4 derived from the pieces in 4/4. For example, the slow waltz of "never enough". Check it out
A love this song btw I’m a czech dancer❤️

Anyway, it's my personal opinion. Thanks for making ballroom music more modern :)
There is "slow" bit in waltz. Please dance the slow. Thank you!
I do not agree. The slow only means that you have just to express your emotions intensely following the SLOW music. They have done it perfectly

Have you ever participated in something that nearly resembles ballroom dancesport ?
Ну как сказать ну Вике нравиться а мне ну так но Танец не плохой
It is too sharp when she turns her head. In waltz, it should be slow and takes a bit longer...
Am I alone to be shocked that the soundtrack is viennese waltz while video is slow waltz?
I completely agree.

The song is NOT a Viennese waltz tempo.
Ну и не подходит эта музыка под их танец. Вообще никак.
