  • “Croatian Rhapsody”, originally written by Croatian songwriter Tonči Huljić, remains till this day one of Maksim Mrvica’s major hits (it was included in his 2003 album titled The Piano Player. Becoming very popular and renowned around the world, especially in Asia, arrangements for a multitude of instruments have been made. This piece is said to describe the painful aftermath, repercussions as well as the waning of Croatia following its wars during the late 20th century.
For my performance, I originally used the arrangement of Cara N (sheets: available for free on MuseScore); however, I decided to add a few touches I found interesting from PianiCast’s arrangement (sheets: www.mymusicsheet.com/pianicas...)
With that said, sit back and enjoy my interpretation of Croatian Rhapsody :)
