Bro, they freaking killed it with the music in this DLC! This is a certified BANGER!
Holy moly I was sweating bullets every fight especially since I literally started last Sep. I knew the boss fights were gonna be tough but that reverse pokemon they throw at you killed my whole strat.
I was really impressed with how smart the BB Elite Four were when it came to covering their weaknesses. Crispin's 2 starters are both immune to Ground, and his Exeggutor is super effective against *all 3* of Fire's weaknesses; all 6 of Amarys's Pokemon have at least one attack that's super effective against Fire, Fighting, and/or Ground (with her Dugtrio in particular almost guaranteed to KO any Fire-type you lead with); Lacey's Granbull & Excadrill will do major damage against both Poison and Steel (and even if you have one that's immune to Ground, her Slowbro packs Flamethrower and Psychic); and Drayton's Haxorus & Archaludon have Steel attacks that'll decimate Fairy and Dragon types (and also, he leads with a very bulky Dragonite and a Flygon that'll outspeed most Pokemon and will gladly lower your Attack with Breaking Swipe)

@@thatupsidedowncountryball I look at all encounters in an area and then I put them in a random number generator. Thats the way I chose the encounter. For the rest I just keep my Pokemons below the level cap (that I searched) and don´t allow myself to use Items in Battle. I made the extra rule to fight at least 3 Trainer per Area.

Easily the best music in the whole game since arven’s theme. These battles were such a joy to do as well!
Could you add all the legendary battle themes that you can also pick in battle stadium? from all the snackworth legends?

i can't unhear the techno music from that one scene in blade. the very start uses that same synth...lol
I didn't get to hear much of this theme because my ambipom was a beast
2:20 Colress leitmotif hits hard
I also hear most of the instruments used in the Sword and Shield gym leader theme!
Also the background drone at 0:16 sounds like Colress too
No all the Xeboblade music is gone from the main channel :(

They could have easily made this a more energetic version of the unova elite four theme, still good song anyways
Considering at least 2 of them are related to gym leaders (Drayton and Lacey, though for all i know crispin might be the straiton triplets' younger cousin or something) i was actually expecting a remix of the gym leader theme, but tbh im kinda glad we got an original piece bc this bangs
@Terumimi I believe it is a remix of the Paldea elite 4 theme. A lot of people didnt hear that because it was bugged on release.
@@Benzinilinguine The part around 1:21 through 1:31 sounds a slowed down remix of the BW Elite Four theme. Specifically the beginning melody.

It's a shame Crispin depends so much on his pan to be a character.
The famed battling academy where you battle precisely 5 notable trainers, one of which you have already fought, and no form of tournament is offered. Okay
...Yeah I expected some sort of Sw/Sh style tournament system at the very least but even that didn't happen. Out of curiosity I even talked to the lady at the front entrance desk after beating the story but she just congratulates you for "becoming BB League Champion" or something like that. Really disappointing
