These are great when I need to do a set using my non dominant hand. I like to use builder gel instead of glue for full cover tips, glues tend to be so corrosive on my nails for some reason.
I think this would have been a great opportunity to showcase different application methods along with the different shapes - you guys have so many great gel products and it seems a shame you didnt demonstrate an application using any of those.
Are these tips made with gel or plastic? And what is the c curve like? And how thick are they? Do these need to be reinforced? Can you do a fill-in with these or must you replace them with each new set?
When applying press on or full cover nails, the only strength is in the plastic tip or if you use gel to adhere. If you apply hard gel over the full tip, this will give it more durability. If you do not apply an enhancement over the tips, they will be much more flexible and not as durable as a traditional full set.
@@youngnailsinc can i do encapsulation glitter dimensions nail with hard gel on top of full cover coffin nails that are attached to natural nail (with fiber gel underneath - instead of nail glue)?

Okay Greg........do you only use 1 coat of protein bond or 2? And can you use a builder gel to adhere the tip instead of glue? And when will you have these available on the website?
Ok....the full coverage tips...very concerned right now and a bit stumped. I bought the almond , stiletto and coffin. Beautifully shaped but.....the WIDTH MEASUREMENT? When I measure the 0 I get 14mm. Thats a pretty small "largest tip" when the industry standard seems to be 16mm. Is there somewhere I can get the width chart on these tips? I am also seeing tip 6 and 7 are the same width at 8mm. Is this right? I am selling nail tips and love the YN ones (all my product is YN) but I also need to make sure customers know the width of each of the sizes. I am not sure if i am off on my sizing or not. I’m so excited for these! I just bought the trial kits-I am in love with the gel’s I thought I knew what I was doing but I really did not I got the gel kit and watched your video And then it all clicked
That's what I've been doing... cause I just don't see them lasting with just glue so I've been filling them with builder gel , sticking them in the light for 2 seconds , then flipping it over and sticking it to my natural nail and putting in the light for 60 seconds then pinch the nail tip and pull and it comes right off leaving a perfectly coffin shaped gel nail.

when prepping the natural nail for these we do the same thing as always except we don't apply protein bond to the natural nail. You can prep the underside of the tip or not, both will work fine with the glue. After the tip is on we remove the shine from it, use swipe and then apply protein bond
If you are applying them how we do in this video, then you would do your prep the same except you would not use protein bond before gluing the full cover tip. The glue doesn't interact well with the protein bond.
I cure two coats of base gel on my nails, buff the top of the coat and buff the underside of the full tips and then use the glue to paste them. They last forever until I get tired of them and wanna switch the design. I like using them this way instead of the Apres way (pasting them with gel) because I can design my nails first and paste them afterwards. My dominant hand always looks as good as the other one. hi, i bought a glue but, idk why it makes bubbles and the full cover tips doesn't attack to my nail, why is this happening ? maybe i don't put enough glue ? let me now pls 🖤🖤
Most likely it is because the tip isn't fitting to the exact shape of your nail. If you have to press the tip on with pretty firm pressure, it has a tendency to pop back up and cause the air bubbles. Make sure the tips fit the natural nail from sidewall to sidewall as well as the c-curve.
