Noise isolation is amazing
That lumber truck that slowed you up upon entering the autobahn was no doubt headed toward the cuckoo clock factory. And the ability to go 220 km plus is essential when you have a great sauerbraten meal and a couple liters of good brew in you and need to find a bathroom in a hurry. Waiting on the arrival of my 2022 x5 40i any day now. I am more impatient than a kid waiting on Christmas morning. Nice video!

I have a 2013 x70 3.0 sport activity with the M package. I think 300 or so hp. Pretty amazing suv when I can ride 5 in style, in a 7k lb vehicle, and cruise at 140mph. These cars are amazing and super durable. BMW gets a bad rap.

If you drove on a full tank driving 85mph on the highway what mpg would you get on a diesel? Also how many miles per tank?
2013 bmw (if you're referring to newer F15 model) would be at ~4960 lbs and 2012 one (if you're referring to E70 one, like from this video) would be ~5192 lbs. , not sure where you got 7000 lbs

Yeah you are right. I got a little ahead of myself. Mine weighs 5k lbs dry. Still a great car though. Horrible gas mileage but fast and fun.

It’s for the brakes. The sensor cable of the brakes is damaged.
@@povdrivegermany7080 I see, I though it was the "P" , as the pads sensor is usually amber rather than red :)
I have this same model with a dpf, egr delete on a stage 1 map and is a beast of a machine

To me how fast it accelerates is not the issue but how effort less it feels when doing it,my wrx may be faster but you feel how hard the engine is working but in 3.0sd it feels effortless

Bonjour le véhicule est un BMW X5 3 litres SD 286 chevaux bloc moteur M57 différent de son concurrent le BMW X5 3 litres 5 286 chevaux la différence entre le SD et le 3.5 le SD une course de piston plus court le couple donc plus coupleux le problème du X5 c'est le graissage des chaînes le trou de graissage est trop petit du coup c'est pour ça que la plupart des X5 ont des problèmes de chaîne de distribution a changé avant 200000km

I think it's not in sport mode because I have a 2008 3.0 diesel version of this car and I've seen 260 km/h with this car and the curb weight of the car is almost 3 tons and in sport mode it turns into a monster.

Bonjour je possède aussi un BMW X5 3 l SD le bloc moteur piston embiellage culasse injecteur a été remplacé chez BMW suite à une faute du garage du coup je repars avec un moteur 0 km je l'ai fait reprogrammer au banc A 370ch aucune perte de compression tout est neuf vitesse de pointe 280KM

C'est des moteurs très performant le BMW X5 3.0L SD 286ch et critiquée par rapport à la casse de chaîne de distribution le problème c'est au niveau du graissage des chaînes il faut savoir que le X5 sd possède un bloc moteur N57 en alu à la différence BMW X5 3.5L 286ch la course du piston du moteur SD et plus court la rotation de la chaîne est très rapide le dressage ça fait mal du coup c'est pour ça qu'on voit sur les forums problème de chaîne rupture de chaîne
Yes n54 engine as my mechanic said its bullet proof but make sure to maintain it.

keep in mind it's heavy and it's past 300k km's and it's a 12y-o car. tires might not be warm enough. you can't really expect it to run like it's brand new out of the factory. despite these facts, it is running pretty good. it doesn't deserve to be called "too slooow".

Way too high revs, over 4,500 this engine has no torque and less power. If you shift it at 4400/4500, this car is way quicker.
