I actually think It would be a pretty cool idea for the 'Sounds Like' series to always have different presenters - Just a constant flow of people all doing their own interpretations on it. Be a segment on the channel you truly never knew what you was in for haha
I thought Andertons had abandoned the "Sound like..." concept forever. It's so great to know you guys are bringing it back! Great episode and keep it coming! 💪🤘
Definitely happy to see this series come back for the third iteration, loved the first episode with Matt and Rabea (which was one of the first Sounds Like videos I ever watched back a few years ago) and these guys killed it as well so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing who they take on next
I always think why are you redoing [insert sound like episode] Matt & Bea nailed it. But then I remember how long ago that was. I mean Digital John hadn't even been coded back then.
Love Andertons and the with/without breaking the bank! People hate on Limp Bizkit but they have some amazing guitar and bass riffs as well as pedal/effects use.
They butchered this in my opinion. Theres no enthusiasm behind what they're trying to achieve. It felt uncomfortable and uninspiring. No real tone matching like Rabea used to do.
Sound like Without Busting the Bank needs a new twist 😁Love Ben & John however it would be cool to maybe like do it once every couple of weeks or even 1 a month but with various artists and/or staff, and get them to attempt to sound like their favorite artists or bands growing up or event preset day 🤘just something to consider, throwing in my 2 cents as they say Lovely video lads. you did it justice 🤘💪
As a 38 year old father of 2 I can corroborate that Limp Bizkit is now indeed dad rock 😂 Great job with the tones and the playing guys. As a young whippersnapper I was very much into Limp Bizkit back in the day and although I can’t say I’ve kept up with their output, looking back Wes Borland is a really innovative and unique player.
To my ears, these sounds seem nearly identical. Spot on re-creations, boys. Sludgy & tight in all the right places. And Wes's thin but inventive dry tone with delay on his verses really take me back... Because the RUclips comments section has more-or-less become the worlds internet forum (other than Reddit..), my 2 cents- I find it intresting how you guys often describe these bands in the intro. You tend to describe them in terms of genre with a little bit of British humor and sort of give a loose categorization of where they belong in the musical tree. Ironically, you play the songs perfectly...with conviction, as if they meant the same to you as when I bought Chocolate Starfish the day it came out on cd. Maybe it doesnt matter, but to me, it's less about the genre and more about what they represent, how they've evolved, and matured, but kept their voice. When Bizkit came out, they were pioneers of something dangerous and free, from a trailer park world. Their songs have this universal thing that's poetic in its own twisted way. They combined gained up grooves with a unique rap style and well structured pop with passsion and punk. Theres nothing like them. And they do it with real authenticity. Their music lives on far more than nostalgia. I know they embrace the moniker, but they are way more than "dad rock" to me. It's funny. I used to be embarrassed to admit I was a Limp Bizkit fan. Now, I remember why I love them. Thanks. Rock n' Roll.
welcome back! Can we get a sound like for Periphery, Mastodon (revisited without/BY busting the bank), Maroon 5, Mr Big, Polyphia, Metallica (revisited BY busting the bank) or Behemoth
Yes, we all know Durst used to behave like a total d-bag back in the day, but Wes Borland is way more of an influential guitarist than the cool kids will ever allow themselves to admit, & Sam & John on bass & drums are an underappreciated rhythm section. To this day, very few bands can make a live crowd bounce like the Bizkit! :) I'm curious how long a £350 Jackson with a licensed bridge would cope with the kind of manhandling Borland doles out compared to something expensive with a full-fat FloydRose™? I'm guessing not so long.... & then you're looking at £200+ for a new FloydRose™ bridge.... & that's assuming there's zero damage to the guitar body! o_O #CouldBeExpensive p.s. solid, quality, vid here Djentle & Digital - kudos. :)
Почему для создания звука как у группы, нельзя взять именно такие же инструменты как у группы? В чем сложность они же все висят у вас в магазине🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Ht 5 really doesn’t have the clean headroom to be getting over a drummer, for a grand you’re looking at multi fx if it was £1500 like it used to be with Bea and amp would be better.
I can't believe that Ben didn't paint his face! It's like he's not taking it seriously.
Painting the face is taking it seriously?
@@benlogan430 Yes. And everything on RUclips is to be taken seriously too.
Ironically I actually do play in a limp bizkit tribute band as a dep and have gone full out with the costume before 😂
The toan is in the paint
@@benelmer422and you play the majority of the parts wrong and got a song name wrong in this video... said livin it up was "just like this" 😭🤦♂️😂
Sound Like is back, and all is right with the world 🤘
I actually think It would be a pretty cool idea for the 'Sounds Like' series to always have different presenters - Just a constant flow of people all doing their own interpretations on it. Be a segment on the channel you truly never knew what you was in for haha
Agree. I'd let Ben and John do all the metal and more modern stuff. And then CiCi and Dave the more classic stuff.
Please, in honor of their final tour, do "Sound Like NoFX".
Break stuff. But not the bank.
Underrated comment
I thought Andertons had abandoned the "Sound like..." concept forever. It's so great to know you guys are bringing it back!
Great episode and keep it coming! 💪🤘
Hearing a British person say "hot dog" is unexpectedly hilarious.
Damn, I was looking forward to Cici and Dave! Still I will make do with Djentleman and Digital John
These guys were great. Dave and C were great too. Good stuff Andertons.
Love these two doing Sounds Like! I have missed this series!
So glad your doing these again
This was a fun video overall but probably my favorite part was trying to catch all the horror references in Ben's left arm tattoos lol, cool idea
yes!! it's back. Love these videos
Sounds like: Kyuss, The Stooges, Sex Pistols, King Gizzard, Nine Inch Nails, Motorhead, the Kinks, the Who, System of a Down, Screaming Trees
Definitely happy to see this series come back for the third iteration, loved the first episode with Matt and Rabea (which was one of the first Sounds Like videos I ever watched back a few years ago) and these guys killed it as well so I’m definitely looking forward to seeing who they take on next
Great sounds like withe Digital John. Did enjoy Dave & CiCi with there own injection of humour..👍🇦🇺
Im so happy youve made another one of these!!
this guys have the best job in the world
That golden watch in the pristine new guitar almost killed me.
And he's right handed too so it should be on his other wrist
Great shout getting these guys to go back to the original format showing the decisions on the gear. Missed these Sound Like videos.
I always think why are you redoing [insert sound like episode] Matt & Bea nailed it. But then I remember how long ago that was. I mean Digital John hadn't even been coded back then.
You Nailed!!! Congrats!!!!!
a great vid boys good to see the sounds like back again.
thanks all.
Always got time for more Sound Like
Sounds like is my favorite series of andertons video series
Ben and John are great, please keep doing these, always my favorite videos on the channel.
To quote Father Jack when it came to Sounds like… “where are the other two?”
Absolutely, filthy riffs for days
Sound like SABATON, brilliance personified.
Love Andertons and the with/without breaking the bank! People hate on Limp Bizkit but they have some amazing guitar and bass riffs as well as pedal/effects use.
Cici should of done this
We need Cici and Dave :( the people love them
They butchered this in my opinion. Theres no enthusiasm behind what they're trying to achieve. It felt uncomfortable and uninspiring. No real tone matching like Rabea used to do.
@@nohalo7 butchered? Trying to play like Wes is incredibly hard. Ben absolutely killed it
Just logged in to support this video! Sounds like is the original reason I followed you
I do love a Blackstar. They don't get the recognition they deserve.
I'm actually learning this now you are so right
Unless you watch Andertons regularly.
yayy our favourite duo is back

Guys, loved that, you bladdy nailed it :)
Would love a sound like the libertines
Do title fight next!
Plzzz
I just love these - MORE please
Sound like Billy Talent!
Nailed it

Awesome video, very inspiring!
Sound Like Breaking Benjamin | Without Busting the Bank! 🤘🤘🤘
Love the drop pedal
If we're bringing this back can you do an AFI video?
welcome back! Can we get a sound like for Periphery, Mastodon (revisited without/BY busting the bank), Maroon 5, Mr Big, Polyphia, Metallica (revisited BY busting the bank) or Behemoth
Seeing Maroon 5 in the same sentence as Behemoth seems...right
Great sounds, and a great vid!
Sound like Meshuggah pretty please!
Where are Dave and Cici?
I don't know Limp Bizkit. I can't say if Ben and John nailed it.
0:23 Pendulum! I remember hearing them for the first time at a GameStop PS3 kiosk, playing a demo of MotorStorm lol
You need to do a "Sounds like Nile Rodgers"
Sound like Biffy Clyro or Feeder would be cool.
Loss of high end seems more like a buffering issue, a Boss Tuner’s buffer could help.
Do sounds like avenged sevenfold
What happened do Dave and CiCi? No offense but I missed their energy on this one
You push that whole male female thing long enough and its bound to go sideways... especially afters cici's jamaica visit..🤷🏼
@@6nosis I have no idea what you're talking about tbh 😋 but if there was drama I don't need to know about it really
Cici presents some of the All About the Bass videos with Lee Voss on here at the moment
Maybe they are on tour with their band.
Well done. Definitely prefer these two.
We are back!!
I'll be 40 on Thursday. Thanks for making me feel young again!😂
When I saw the gain 10 I knew you had no idea
Folks, it's gotta happen.
Sound like sleep token
15:15 nailed!
Sounds fuckin’ sweet!
Class video lads, if you like proper nu-metal limp bizkit style riffs go check out Black Coast, they nailed this tone.
It’s so wild to me that they are popular now/again…
Great vid! Not a complaint, just wanted to point out at @17:53, thats actually a Mike Smith riff, not Wes. Still though, great job!
How is a band that is 30 years old almost 20 years old?
The budget should be £1500!
Like it used to be
(Money goes less far now too)
What watch is Ben wearing? Kinda looks like a Tudor chronograph but I can't see too well.
I was thinking it was a Tudor as well but in gold that's a hell of a lot of quid on the wrist there.
Bring Dave back!
Hey Ben, how come you know all of the riffs so well? 👀
Where’s Dave and Cici, not the same without them.
Missing them shame if they are no longer doing sounds like
I miss Rebea and Matt
0:17 Hearing "dad vibes" used to describe Limp Bizkit is kinda depressing lol
Are you next going to produce a video on how to make your new Ferrari drive like a Gremlin?
Sound like is back! Is there a “Love” button?
yessss
Sam Rivers uses Warwick 5 string streamer basses that have active pickups.
He uses active Fender Jazz 5-Strings for a few years now. At least for touring.
Wasn't Sam always a Warwick guy?
When I think Wes Borland I think PRS. Pricewise I understand it for the budget but it still feels weird not to go with it. :)

This begs the question - Why would anyone want to sound like Limp Bizkit? It's not 1999
15:14...that's livin it up...not just like this...and you play in a bizkit tribute band?
1995 called…..😮
where's matt and rebea
New series , make a gorilla 30w amp sound good.
Get back the original hosts

"dad vibes"? ugh
I’m glad this is back. I didn’t like it with the last two hosts though. Ben and John are great though
Sam rivers does not play with a pick 😒
Bizkit bass does not go down to f#!!!!
Skip the bass amp for a di pedal but don’t get a multifx pedal for guitar 🙄🤷♂️
thats cheating!
Does anyone want to though? Lol
I love sounds like with/without videos but this lacked charisma..and sound was meh, and song selection was meh..
The bass tone is horrible. Leaves a lot to be desired.
4 min in the video and it in not interesting
Nah!
