These uncut videos literally save my life while working on longer work projects so I don't lose my mind that I am not fishing. And honestly, I needed this one in my life to make me feel less terrible about how dry the bite is right now LOL. The biggest fish I ever caught on a jig (I'll exclude vibrating jig) is 4 pounder on a Catch outdoors zero gravity 1/4 oz. kayaking down the Huron river in Ann Arbor, Michigan

I just used a jig for the second time on my last fishing trip. The jig was made by a friend who loves fishing jigs. The first time I used it I didn't know what I was doing, but I watched several of your jig videos and the next time out I caught 2 small ones probably 8-10 inches within about 10 minutes. I plan to use them more going forward.

I've got a hydraulic lift on my TM on my kayak, with a switch by my seat to raise and lower it. It's pretty slick if you're willing to do some pretty simple wiring through the hull. I've got it plugging in by the motor so it can be removed, then the wiring runs from the plug up to the switch, through the hull.

Been blood bait catfishing -- dead shrimp redfishing most of my life, BUT trying to learn BASS fishing, they do taste better. We are not ALL up to your speed on what things your are fishing with, what you are doing and why and notice you call certain lures by different names so the slang switch over makes for confusion (100ponds#92). Could you maybe like here time 42 just show us that lure and name it, not just that it's all in the comments, but it helps at the time. Just not all as fast as you, and this video is YOU sharing and hoping to get views. I can see your joy n the speed of the chase as it appears to get fast and interesting. We might share some more of this with you if you would refresh us on the lure and why. I here the strategy of light, location, what gets bites, it's interesting and hope to be learning more from you. Noticed you exclusively use bait casters, I've only had 2, still need to get used to them, too many birdnests. Why not your Native Kayak Here????? Just figured I'd bring by fav my best, but maybe it's because it's shallow and you just wanted to paddle. Ah, spoke too soon, you got trolling motor. You do cut to the chase. Like your videos and locations, nature. Drop Shot on a spinner!!! thought all bait casters.

    Not always true:
The need to cull fish is specific to a situation.
For example, I fish Knee Lake Manitoba for pike every year. It's 100% catch-and-release. On any given 4-day period, We land 40-50 inch trophies, lots of 30-36 inchers, and several hundred smaller ones. The little fish population provides forage for the large.
All are released. The lake is stocked by God alone. No fishing pressure, yet we scatter around the lake to leave an even smaller footprint. The only fish we take out is a walleye for shore lunch, and those get big too. Nothing goes home.
This is the natural way. No roads. 8-10 fishermen at a time on a 50-mile long lake. As close as it gets to the way the Creator made it.
In my home waters of Illinois, fishermen descend on any body of water like locusts and suck it dry. Here, the fishing stinks. I have one lake near home that's catch-and-release, and the fishing's good there.
Please stop evangelizing an all-or-nothing approach. Culling may be necessary in specific places because of human disruption, but it's not always true.
