Yes, Muay Thai is 100% stamina and breaking down opponents body. I am a farang training in Thailand, it's soooo much work. Thai fighters hit gym daily and are constantly doing some type of cardio exercise and practice kicks constantly. Their bodies are solid muscle! This is why they can last forever in fights, even when receiving strong blows. I'm 6'2" and weigh 195 lbs. Even though I am much larger than everyone I train with, they can all easily beat the hell out of me without breaking a sweat. Even this 15 year old kid could wipe the floor with me haha. They are warriors to say the least!
Songkane Somsanuk You don't need to be moi tie che master to throw windmills and hey makers. But one must admit that gangus con and his boys kicked a lot of ass and bagged a lot of ladies.
Joe Pasco my response wasn't in regards to fighting ability but more so in saying that the attitude of must Thai is not the same as in other traditional martial arts.
Drewyoo he was supposedly a bit under the influence so that may have been why he is obviously not all there. I’m pretty sure if he was sober he could’ve ended it in a few seconds
Those repeated leg kicks do more damage then people think, as you can see the dude was obviously feeling it a minute into that fight. which is why the boxer legs looked super wobbly towards the end.. If that muay thai fighter was sober & fought in a bigger ring he would have ended it alot sooner.. That little baby ring fits perfectly for any boxer
GamesAndSuch Too bad it wasn't a street fight cause that master would as hell used his elbows and knees to open that guy's head like a coconut. Plus nobody would stop them when the master clinched.
Sumo Leonard hes not a boxer, title says street fighter, and this guy isn't a muay thai legend first of all if u watch real muay thai fights those fighters would wipe the ring with this guy, I'm not saying he isn't a good fighter guy hater but he's no legend
Yup. Im sure fatigue had a hand in the loss, but look at his punches. There is nothing behind them. Its really hard to throw a good punch when your stance is affected. The legs generate more force than some will realize. Also if this was a real street fight the Muay Thai fighter should have been allowed to use all 8 points of attack. Looks like they took the clinch game away which would have ended it faster.
Another big factor in this fight is Master Cha's fighting spirit of never to give up under any circumstances, the difference of a born fighter and a brawler lies deep within one's self.
The leg kicks were a big reason you missed. Street guy had a boxers stance with his left leg out and vulnerable. It's give more mobility, but he slowly lost it due to the leg kicks.
Clearly you never do boxing : 1) Bare boxing is full of total untrained people, as it was before boxing was invented. 2) That street fighter don't throw a single proper boxing punch, nothing of technique pure raw power. 3) Calling him street fighter is not pejorative, in fact that is his fighting style.
EliosMoonElios the dude is throwing isn't throwing wild punches and is putting together accurate combination with a more than average head movement ability. And actually I did train in boxing and never said the guy was a pro but rather that he has some sort of boxing training buddy
The ‘Street fighter’ is clearly trained he’s not some bum off the street, look at his stance and movement. Anyway bare knuckle boxing is an art in itself
after master cha got rid of the street boxer’s legs, he tricked him into thinking he was going for a low leg kick again but went straight for his dome instead. genius
About every time the Muay Thai guy took a hit it was because he was being cocky and had his guard lowered. If he stayed more technical that would have been over much faster.
This is not an actual Muy Thai fight with a street brawler. The MT fighter never threw elbows or knees. He could have destroyed the street brawler in the clinches.
A professional thai fighter wouldn't b dropping his guard mid match, he certainly wasn't drunk enough to b punching and kicking like that, he was trying to show off at first that's why I think he got punished, nevertheless a true muay thai legend would knock the lights outta that brawler without having to go for his legs
Swimbait1 No .... what won the fight was a referee interfering . The “Street Fighter” would have won if the fight followed STREET RULES . No referee to step in and help Muay Thai dude after the first knock down
MyNameIsWOODy Oh , believe me . I used to know two dudes who were of Muay Thai background . Lethal fighters , they don’t fear being hit . Takes a certain type of human to not fear being hit . Muay Thai fighters are scary
Jeff Sargent like every mma fighterand boxer. Seriously. In any type of pro fighting, no fighter is scared to take a hit other wise they'd flinch and close their eyes giving a perfect opportunity for a good hit.
Master Cha delivers guest seminars at my gym and is one of the instructors at LMT camp in the US. Let’s not forget that the guy was a Lumpinee champion back in 1997 (8).
If this had been a real street fight and not a rink fight he would've won. As soon as the "Master", who by the way fighting drunk is not very respectable, was down the first time he would have been done. The street fighter could've pounced on him and beat him into submission while "master" was stunned. That or a couple of head kicks while he was down. Rink fighting can't be compared to survival street fighting....
John - Wow....important correction there...either way, an enclosed controlled environment. I guess you were smart enough to figure out what was meant. I only ever spar in a dojo and fight on the street if needed, not a in a "ring".
Can't anyone tell the huge difference in weight, that was the only problem ,even though he's a pro that's a huge difference that's why there's weight categories
weight classes don't mean shit? Sounds like you're a manlet. If weight classes don't mean shit, why doesn't lomachenko go up to heavyweight and fight Anthony Joshua. Loma is clearly the superior technical boxer but he would get manhandled by any heavyweight
weight classes exist for a reason. That's why smaller fighters stay in their weight class and don't go up it is that simple. It might not be that important when you are fighting someone who has never trained in his life but if you're up against another professional fighter then you can't overcome the size advantage at a certain point. All you're doing is making excuses for your fellow manlets because you feel insecure and want to portray yourself as if you could hang with the big boys.
dustbin, i think he was talking about real fight or at least fight with less rules. Boxing is a very limited form of combat sports. Of course Lomachenko or even Errol Spence or GGG would have no chance against a heavyweight like Anthont Joshua because they are all boxers and they do the same things in the ring. Wheras in a real fight or even mma but not UFC, where you can use varieties of skills and body weapon it's a different story. Fedor Emelienko often destroyed guys twice his size who were towering over him.
UrbanFox 956 , totally agree this guy was Mauy Thai champion, he did pretty good but really needed to realize the fight wasn’t over... kinda beat himself.

Nice video and analysis but you forgot the leg kicks; they started hurting the street fighter and wearing him down and opening him up for the other punches and kicks.
The street fighter chose the wrong time to stop fighting and count his fingers, or whatever the hell he was doing right before getting kicked in the head and knocked out.
Muay Thai, is known to be slow to start, but quick to finish. That is them gauging their opponents looking for openings. Well he obviously found those openings.
Not that unexpected. Muay Thai fighters usually start slow feeling out there opponent, taking a few hits to get their opponent’s timing down. The start of the fights are usually rough for them. Once he did get his opponent’s timing down however, he was dodging his attacks much better. Muay Thai fighters are also very resilient. They take hits but don’t go down. So they take a few hits in the beginning of the fight until they’ve fully analyzed and understood their opponent. That’s why he wasn’t phased by they guys hits at all, because he expected he would get knocked around a bit. Finally, from the very beginning the Thai was programming his opponent with leg kicks. Over the course of the fight all those leg kicks and his opponent thought every kick he throws will be low. Up until the very end, when you see the high kick the other fighter tried to block low. This was a deliberate strategy that takes time to execute, and Muay Thai fighters are conditioned to do so.
manjitrupbikram harder to use on a taller fighter when your timing is off from drinking. Not to mention he was hurt early on. Maling it harder to think.
well just an example, you think those muay thai legends like buakaw and sittichai are fighting under MT rules most of the time? no, they fight under k-1 kickboxing rules, which eliminates elbows and limit time on neck grappling. They are not getting most of their fame from muay thai bouts, they just represent tough muay thai discipline in thailand, not actually gaming with elbows. not sure about this guy in the vid, looks like neck grappling, knees and elbow are all taken out, so he's in the same league then, only representing the kind of physical discipline you would see from training muay thai, not given any favorable advantage in terms of muay thai rules
Just my non bias opinion on this fight, I must say as a martial artist I enjoyed watching this fight more than most others I’ve ever seen. Although I don’t know the backstory behind this, the Muay Thai fighter seemed to got caught up in the beginning of being one dimensional in his approach, the “street fighter” showed good intelligence in wanting to close the distance and not stay in the Muay Thai fighters range, which seemed to give him an advantage early on. Then the Muay Thai fighter seemed to realize he needed to start being unpredictable, which is what allowed him to finish. I really enjoyed the determination of both, and very important martial lessons seemed to be learned by both that day. Also no martial art can teach resilience and determination, that has to be cultivated by the individual. And both these people had it. Also I didn’t see cockiness in this fight as much as I saw the typical mind games being played. All are important. Just my thoughts on it.
Obviously, you don't understand Muay Thai tactics. After being KO two or three times he decided to use usual technic - hit opponent's thigh till he wont be able to stand. He then tries to save the leg, hide it, and lose concentration. And then Master Cha knocks him down. Simple))))
Obviously you missed where I said, “just my thoughts”. But you are right, Muay Thai is not my martial art. so what is usual tactics, and what isn’t, I wouldn’t know off hand, hence where the “my thoughts” part came in. And I’m sure I won’t learn Muay Thai tactics, on a RUclips comment section. But maybe you think I can.
Props to the thai fighter those leg kicks were nasty but lets give props to the boxer who clearly not conditioned for them taking 15+ and still trying to fight!!

Perhaps but it's the dog that stands up at the end that wins and you know who didn't. Just saying.
For people that talked shit about the Thai guy have no idea what they talking about. Thai box is more of a break down ur opponent. That exactly what he did here. Plus the guy weight more then him. He got tired of throwing bomb at the start of the match.
Agreed, I'm Thai and i don't know what nationality you are but i respect your comment you seem to know well about Muaythai and fighting.
He also looked pretty drunk so that may be why he took so many big shots
For any UFC fans out there you can actually see Jorge Masvidal make a cameo on this.
Jorge Masvidal was actually the one who brought him there at the backyard fight, this was in Miami I think
@@alfonsotenorio9181 Woah, actually did not know that. I just thought they were acquiantances

A true master of anything would avoid being involved in such a fiasco.
Joe Pasco , even drunk?
Have you looked up what Muay Thai is about? It isn't that Mister Miyagi shit where you're all humble and peaceful. Muay was made for war.
Songkane Somsanuk You don't need to be moi tie che master to throw windmills and hey makers. But one must admit that gangus con and his boys kicked a lot of ass and bagged a lot of ladies.
Joe Pasco my response wasn't in regards to fighting ability but more so in saying that the attitude of must Thai is not the same as in other traditional martial arts.
tmWasted I'm not so sure about that.
Muay Thai legend..? the other guy wouldn't last a minute with a true legend.
PJ Rivera yup! also he was drunk at the time so I expected to much :)
I'd give him half a minute with buakaw.
So you know a few ?
PETEXTREAM Yodsanklai, Buakaw, Saenchai, Singdam, Saiyok, Sudsakorn, can check out more just Google "Thai Fight" .. to name a few
Drewyoo he was supposedly a bit under the influence so that may have been why he is obviously not all there. I’m pretty sure if he was sober he could’ve ended it in a few seconds
Embarrassed to say that I’ve watched hundreds of RUclips fights. This is the best one! Holy Jesus!
That's real fighting spirit. No surrender
A muay thai legend would only agree to fight if he is drunk
Stfu!!! You are stupid
Benjamin Jeanes fo u son of a b..........
Benjamin Jeanes ur family is stupid....
JAAT BHAI 18. ... Don't act surprised when someone talks shit cause you say something stupid
Muay thai legends are sober and fight professional muay thai fighters.. Not backyard brawls in nebraska while drunk
He’s not a master he let his guard down and left his head open enough to get punched and elbowed
That baby ring is only good for big people because of close range. A bigger ring, would have exgausted that street fighter way sooner.
this is the warrior spirit, never give up
Amen for Jesus... the greatest warrior .
more like the drunken warrior spirit
5winder RIP from 👉 Jesus
Knocking your opponent down isn't nothing. It's when he keeps getting up and you still have to fight him. Never underestimate a determined opponent.
Another big factor in this fight is Master Cha's fighting spirit of never to give up under any circumstances, the difference of a born fighter and a brawler lies deep within one's self.
Uhmm.. anyone notice the Thai fighter did not use knees or elbows? I think there were some rules set before this match.
beekerfishmania exactly
beekerfishmania agreed he never used knee strike which would weaken opponents breathing
Agreed
a low kick to the leg hits like a poison. it drains the lower body balance over time.
Exactly I swear they wanted him to lose
Ya he gassed understandably plus the pro chopped him down with leg kicks. The amateur did do pretty good considering.
He took punch after punch, he got knocked down and got back up and still took punches. Just made me smile.
5:02 Masvidal: knock him out bro
LoLLLLL
The leg kicks were a big reason you missed. Street guy had a boxers stance with his left leg out and vulnerable. It's give more mobility, but he slowly lost it due to the leg kicks.
He got used to all those leg kicks and was expecting a leg kick again but a head kick came along... end of story 😁
Francois Dreesen Haha yeah 😀
Francois Dreesen it was a setup. He was the smarter fighter
He went down from a leg kick, u dont get used to them you get bruised from them
And it would hurt like hell the following day in the morning.
You never get used to the leg kick...
Muay thai guy was drunk, 20 kilos under his opponent weight old, and wasnt allowed to use knees and elbows and still won, power of MA
"Street Fighter" clearly has some level of boxing training. Unfair to say simply a, "Street fighter".
Clearly you never do boxing :
1) Bare boxing is full of total untrained people, as it was before boxing was invented.
+ hes a heavyweight, the thai guy is featherweight i guess
Yeah he had obviously done some boxing
The ‘Street fighter’ is clearly trained he’s not some bum off the street, look at his stance and movement. Anyway bare knuckle boxing is an art in itself
Wrong title, spoiler alert: No Muay Thai Legend in the video.
Muay thai must be stronger than this
And shouldn't be arrogant
True, but good enough to put someone to sleep.
He is, you wanna try?
It's click bait dude. This title seems to attract more viewers and most of us are always curious who the legend is lol.
Over confidence, never underestimate your opponent
Lower your expectations.
He was drunk af
No no...just over drinkingness lol
Master Cha probably woke up the next morning not realizing what had happened the day before until one of his training partners showed him the video😂
after master cha got rid of the street boxer’s legs, he tricked him into thinking he was going for a low leg kick again but went straight for his dome instead. genius
And the fact that he got rid of his heavy shoes
About every time the Muay Thai guy took a hit it was because he was being cocky and had his guard lowered. If he stayed more technical that would have been over much faster.
lee perry and in addition to that He was drunk
This is not an actual Muy Thai fight with a street brawler. The MT fighter never threw elbows or knees. He could have destroyed the street brawler in the clinches.
Eugene Roy well said
Eugene Roy no he was a moderately successful fighter in the 90s and thode were both illegal
Damn man u dont want to seriously injure someone just for a sport
I don't believe bare knuckle fighting in a backyard is a sport.
Mr Flood - The Autism is strong with this one
One kick to the head, and you're knocked out. Damn,Muay Thai is deadly
Fighting with a random dude like this of course he can drop his guard.
Not always !
He was drunk so it makes sense he was cocky and let his gaurd down
Like Goku gets cocky he beaten by lord Beerus
did u see the way he was moving that nigga was drunk asf
The best fight I ever see.. now i love muay Thai style. No lockbox, no box, nothing else, just searching for muay Thai club's fighting
He's inexperienced, threw all the haymaker punches, then gassed himself out and eventually looked for a way out.
the street fighter was always going to lose against that kick because his guard discipline was pretty shit
What won the fight was the masters repeated kicks to his front leg. Watch toward end he goes down after a kick. His leg was badly hurt.
Swimbait1
No .... what won the fight was a referee interfering .
The “Street Fighter” would have won if the fight followed STREET RULES .
No referee to step in and help Muay Thai dude after the first knock down
Jeff Sargent keep dreaming guy.
Jeff Sargent muay thai would win in secs if he wasn't drunk
MyNameIsWOODy
Oh , believe me .
I trained with Master Cha in Georgia. Really cool guy.
Is he still teaching?
ณพวิทย์ Not sure. He was teaching out of Columbus Georgia last time I checked.
Thanks a lot mate, i met him in Thailand a long long time ago and and i've never met him again since he move to the US.
Ok... Ya. He was super humble in this trailer park fight
BCmachine GOOD FIGHT he took some good punches.
3:03 Protect yourself at ALL times!
Master Cha delivers guest seminars at my gym and is one of the instructors at LMT camp in the US. Let’s not forget that the guy was a Lumpinee champion back in 1997 (8).
Looked like little guy trying to have a friendly fight, he got over that
Mike Bazor fat guy tried so hard
Wow that was Ryu's heavy high kick from Street Fighter 5! Next he must work on the fireball!
Scorpion7substance lol
LOL!
Joudan Sokutou Geri Aka Donkey Kick
When he took off his shoe then it was all over.
Street fighter sh*t his pants the second he realized the Muay Thai fighter wasn’t gonna give up
this is how you get brain damage
Scupacium wow you don’t say........

Muay Thai! If I had used my elbow knee in the Clutch fight, it would have been over for the first time.
Got to give credit to the street fighter. He would win just about any barroom brawl he got into
Correct. And how many people in a barroom brawl know how to utilize this
If this had been a real street fight and not a rink fight he would've won. As soon as the "Master", who by the way fighting drunk is not very respectable, was down the first time he would have been done. The street fighter could've pounced on him and beat him into submission while "master" was stunned. That or a couple of head kicks while he was down. Rink fighting can't be compared to survival street fighting....
Jay 78 'Ring not Rink
John - Wow....important correction there...either way, an enclosed controlled environment. I guess you were smart enough to figure out what was meant. I only ever spar in a dojo and fight on the street if needed, not a in a "ring".
Jay 78- Lol who are you? Karate kid? This sin't the 80's buddy. A fight is a fight.
Master Cha has some serious swagger...
That's not a street fighter. He clinches , ducks , and throw a lot of punching combos. He's a boxer.
Not a good one though haha
Diego Pádua hed fuck you up tho quickly
Take Risks he would fuck you up too, whats your point?
He moves like a street fighter, looks street fighter. He is a street fighter. Like the guy said in the video he used to much effort to create a punch.
Did you ever seen a boxer? He trew arms at every punch and didn’t have guard
Hugh Ropp yea boxing has 17 weight classes because weight doesnt matter. Sure
street fighter had the weight advantage and the other guy was a bit drunk yet he still lost smh
That guy did very well for being a street fighter, so he fought an uphill road to begin with, drunk master or not!
UrbanFox 956 , totally agree this guy was Mauy Thai champion, he did pretty good but really needed to realize the fight wasn’t over... kinda beat himself.
eh.....if master cha uses knee during the clinch, he could have gotten serious injury plus master cha is way lighter than the other guy.
SP Zenza , nobody is doubting the masters ability. Just giving a little credit to the regular joe for the effort!
@@JonnyCoolMelt i understand your point but as for me, in my opinion. He did ehh........master cha was basically fighting in handicap.
SP Zenza , I have no dispute jack Daniels it’s not your friend.
It look like the Master could have gone a few more rounds if needed, And I’m not talking about whiskey.
In my humble opinion, those low-leg kicks in Muay Thai are its greatest weapon. They will break down a giant.
100kg. X 60kg .
That was a good ass fight big ups to both of them...they have alot of heart...👍
fitted lopez, heart? Ego yes, heart no. Disgraceful. A master allowing his behavior overrun by ego, and alchohol show everything that goes against Martial Art's Ethics.
Yeah no matter what walk of life they both come from the point of the matter is that they gave it all they had...
His heart kept him going, leg kicks wore him down, head kick knocked him out end of story.
I became accustomed to the laughter of insults because I knew that Muay Thai boxers would respond with laughter that was many times louder.😂😂😂
Kimbo Slice is a ref now?
Charlie Day Sadly Kimbo has already passed away.
I think that's Dada5000 and if it is he fought kimbo lol
brian cuello it is and you're right!
No, he is dead now...RIP
no, but hes rip now...
Some say they were seen at a bar enjoying a beer
Nice video and analysis but you forgot the leg kicks; they started hurting the street fighter and wearing him down and opening him up for the other punches and kicks.
If you see with attention, in the last head kick, the fat guy tries to cover a leg kick lowering his guard and eating the head kick
Street fighter dude look like a typical bully in high school movies.
You forgot to mention the brawler was working with one less leg after all those thigh chops.
The street fighter chose the wrong time to stop fighting and count his fingers, or whatever the hell he was doing right before getting kicked in the head and knocked out.
He's trying to fix his hand wraps, you can see them coming off earlier in the fight
Lol
Dude you are a funny guy. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
we're gonna ignore the fact that the referee was wearing girl's tanktop
Lmao
It's called a stringer
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Muay Thai, is known to be slow to start, but quick to finish. That is them gauging their opponents looking for openings. Well he obviously found those openings.
Tiger! Tiger! Tiger upercut! You win. Perfect.

The dichotomy between the chaos of the fight and the quiet almost retrospective , pensive music of the review is compelling
Ha ha! Muay Thai. Why didn't he use his elbows or knees then?
manjitrupbikram harder to use on a taller fighter when your timing is off from drinking. Not to mention he was hurt early on. Maling it harder to think.
I think it is the rules, but I am not sure. You can see when they clinch at first, the MT guys raised his hands to stay clear.
Steven Gao Yeah, that's what I thought too.
well just an example, you think those muay thai legends like buakaw and sittichai are fighting under MT rules most of the time? no, they fight under k-1 kickboxing rules, which eliminates elbows and limit time on neck grappling.
You can tell in the last few kicks to the leg that the white dude was hurting from them
Just my non bias opinion on this fight, I must say as a martial artist I enjoyed watching this fight more than most others I’ve ever seen.
The white kid was knocking the alcohol out of the Thai fighter..and once he sobered up he put his skills to use.
lmao god damn people trying to to be condescending.
well said bane
The outclassed "boxer" ... was just a brawler !
1:40 Why is no one talking about the fact that they got Rick Ross to be the referee?😂
How can you tell a Muai Thai fighter not to grab
thats part of the handicap for a g
Thats one technique (close fighting) in muay thai
are you serious? the clinch is a basic technique in muay thai...
i literally just started training muay thai under master cha 2 days ago and i come across this 😂😂
Props to the thai fighter those leg kicks were nasty but lets give props to the boxer who clearly not conditioned for them taking 15+ and still trying to fight!!
Thumbs up for the street fighter 👍 he did darn good for the time he was able. Kudos.
