Thanks a ton! However definitely not professional, hopefully useful. Wish it had a strap for under chin and maybe a vent may have helped but I guess it's supposed to be waterproof
Sorry phone’s having issues replying. So :’Lighterweight Hat’. Le Chapeau Tilley. The Tilley Hat. Guaranteed for LIFE not to wear out! Insured against LOSS- 2 years (50% deductible). Floats. I see the discount card price says £63 instead of £70, but I think the price I paid was £50ish. It has a handy wee pocket inside for all the bumf on it and for tenner as emergency beer money, 😂
I’d be worried it seems a bit steamy due to the wax and lack of vents. I can’t see me doing a tough hike in the sun wearing it. If I was waiting for deer or fish to appear in the autumn I think it would be useful.
Yes, i noticed the lack of vents, I won't be using it for any big hikes, mate in the summer, it is more for spring and autumn if you get caught in a shower, It reviews really well and for me I'm hoping it will be OK especially when im geocaching or at a themepark and maybe a smaller hike, It's actually rare I wear hats. Last year I lost a good hat on a caldera in Fuerteventura. When I go abroad in heat I'm just wearing baseball cap. Definitely don't think it's any good for you up those Bens in hotter weather!
@@RaymondoLeeTravel Agree there Raymondo. Since I got my first expensive hat (the Tilly I wear all the time😂)I feel the weight of responsibility for looking after it😆. Commiserations on losing yours over a caldera.
Thank you for sharing. Love the inside. It's great that it folds up too ❤
Thanks. Yes can folded it over and pack away
I liked how small it folds up and the inside pattern was nice too.
Yes, slightly worried about lack of vents but will see how it goes!
Cool hat 👍
Cheers mate
Lovely presentation man, professional and actually useful!!!

Very nice. I wasn’t expecting the inside to have any sort of a design. Hope you get lots of good use out of it. 👍#1.
It's quintessentially British hence the Style my good man! 😆
quintessentially British
Always a good make my old dad swore by barbour
It's definitely aimed at a certain class mate so no idea why I've bought one lol
@@RaymondoLeeTravel lol true but my old dad was a keen fisherman only downside you have to re wax them bit of a pain lol
Yes, it could pose an issue. Might buy a different hat next year. Or stick to baseball style
And another...waterproof to keep the beany nice and dry and as a student of mine used to say, keep the brain from shrinking! lol
So this one is all weather but not so sure it will keep my head cool in hot temperatures!

Thanks Terry. Just been and had a look. Wow so much choice. Will look into it as next hat. Thanks 😊
@@RaymondoLeeTravel You’re welcome mate. Time for bed hiking near Devil’s Beeftub, Moffat tomorrow. G’nite!

Also Terry I forgot to mention it will be used a lot when I'm at Rugby 🏉
I like the tilly you wear. I might pick up another hat for hiking next year.
Perfect. Comfortable lining.
Strap would be handy right enough. No way to retrofit one?
No don't see any way to do it. I never gave it a thought when I bought it
