@@jasmineken4433 I use Ambrosia BluCon device with Libre sensor and check the glucose readings on my phone through Linkblucon app as the app is very much easy to use for every one with stable connection and give me voice alerts every time when my glucose values are not in range.
I understand if you don’t want to share lab results, but what level did your insulin come back as? Just wondering how elevated it is, because some doctors only care if it’s “normal,” instead of looking at whether or not it’s good/optimal. I use the old fashioned prick meter, so interested to see how this system works! This is off topic but love your tattoos!
Anna Carter in June my insulin was high at 20 and in October it more than doubled at 42. I havent had to rechecked bc endo says it can change alot and isnt a good indicator of a problem in combo with the rest of my labs showed I didnt have PCOS or prediabetes or diabetes yet. She wants me to monitor my blood sugars mainly bc I’m super anxious about it with my family history. If I wasn’t anxious about it then she wouldnt have told me to check it randomly. The sensor I wear is pretty awesum bc you just wand the meter over it as much as u want and it tells you ur current blood sugar, which way its trending and gives u a graph of how its been running since tou last checked. It’s pretty cool. And thanks about the tattoos. I’ll try to show my new ones on the next video. Just got a finger tattoo and a forearm tattoo
bijin83 oh I see. I’m sorry you have anxiety over your family history of diabetes, but It’s good you’re working hard on tackling it and hopefully seeing some progress. I had no idea they made systems like this. The cost of blood sugar strips does add up and mine spikes at random so I have to carry the whole kit with me. so I might look into switching potentially if that’s possibles. thanks for sharing and best of luck to you on your health journey
Thanks for the info, I am using my Libre with Blucon device and check the readings on my phone without reader and scanning the sensor.
Blucon helps me a lot to monitoring my glucose values every time on my watch when my phone is not near to me.
