Hi Guys, I i have been struggling with binge eating disorder for years and have gone to multiple dietitians, nutritionists and phychologists. Nothing has really helped with that initial impulse and intense need to binge. Lately it has been happening more and more. I really want to speak to my doctor about taking this medication and trying it for binge eating. Any advice on how to approach it?

nah you just look like you got a bad attitude and take no accountability for your action. binge eating is not a real disorder you just addicted to salt and sugar. i lost my weight the normal way. dieting and hitting the treadmill. this is why the evil pharmaceutical industry thrives because of people like you.

I just started 30 mg last Friday bc I was diagnosed with ADHD. and to be completely honest i’m not sure that it’s working 100% I might need a higher dose as well. Also I do have issues with food and overeating so i’m hoping it helps me lose weight as well!

I used to take vyvanse 50mg and quit taking it 2 years ago. I’ve gained 50 pounds since I’ve stopped taking it, trying to get put back on it soon

I hear ya I have that issue i would binge and i used to throw up and don't anymore . I'm on Mounjaro now and just started vyvanse i used to take Vyvanse and my primary care doc took me off it cuz she thought it was causing me to shortness of breath. But I just begged my weighloss doctor to put me back on it because it helps that Hunger and binging and appetite suppressant! I agree i need therepy i had t even thought of therepy

What if I take 40mg vyvanse for my binge eating but don’t get prescribed by a doctor, I have some at my house all ready

What dosage of Vyvanse were you on? I am on 40 mg and have had two binging episodes it helps a little bit may need to raise the dosage

I'm glad you made it through, but it doesn't sound like you could have gotten this sick from the day of the removal procedure! Sounds like you may have aspirated sometime during the days before they removed it. You were already sick because you said it took you forever to get dressed to go to the clinic to get it removed. So you had demensioned lung capacity before you went back in. You knew you wasn't feeling well after the removal so you shouldn't have to wait for someone else to tell you to go get checked. I think you are putting a stain on this procedure that has helped millions of people be healthy, by your experiences that sounds like you had a bad episode of nausea in which they informed you that it was the most common side effect. Also, you may have tried to eat the first few days after the procedure, and you were informed to only intake liquids for the first 3-5 days. We didn't hear you say what you ate right after the procedure. You we're also supposed to fast before the procedure. Thanks for sharing.

You know what I had to learn the hard way was that a lot of people are very jealous. I hope you’re staying strong and living your best life.

I got put on it for ADHD, didn’t know it could be used for this, but I’m glad you’re doing well and found something to help you on your journey to self-improvement. I’m glad you’re getting all of this addressed at such a young age, too. I see too many elderly folks who end up with severe medical problems due to not taking care of their health early. It’s also nice to see you are addressing the psychology and not just relying on a pill. Congrats on your progress!

I was on Metformqn and ended up having lactic acidosis as a result of taking it for weight loss and A-1 C control. I was also not diabetic. And I am actually starting vyvanse. How are you doing now?

I’m awake at 5.30 am EST after my first day of taking Vyvanse and I found your videos! I got diagnosed with BED about 1 month ago, but my doctor waited to put me on Vyvanse until I could get my anxiety under control with meds first. I have also been on Metformin for about a month due to high insulin levels from PCOS. I got prescribed 70 mg for my Vyvanse and my only side effect is the insomnia, so I’m hoping that’s going to level out soon. I also have ADD, so Vyvanse is doing double time 😂 So glad I found your videos!!

I don’t think it was the balloon... sounds like negligence on behalf of the doctors and nursing staff. The balloon probably wasn’t inserted properly.

Doesn’t seem like the balloon was the problem, it was the doctors/ nurses negligence... wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t insert the balloon properly

I know this video is old, but it hit home when she started talking about how expensive it is to seek psychological assistance. Where I live, it's $200 for a 50 minute session with a psychologist. One thing that would probably help me the most also costs the most, how backwards is that.

It destroyed my wife , my advice stay at short term they’ll tell us anything but now it’s to late my wife’s health can’t be changed or replaced good luck .

I'm a year late to this video but what dosage were you on? I Just started vyvansse. This is week 3 for me. It seems to wear off around 4pm and then I'm starving and wanting to eat at night. Amazing job on the weight loss!
