Hello friends,
and welcome to another by request song tutorial! In today's session I'll be breaking down how to play the Chris Cornell version of the Prince classic "Nothing Compares 2u." Damn boy you can sing! I thought you were just gonna play it. Lol. I'm adding this song to our set list. The senead version was too high, and princes version is hard to nail. But chris version is pretty good too! And Great job! Love it!

Rob, as always great lesson.my question is when going to the "g" using your ring, pinky fingers' my ring finger mutes the "a" string or the "b" note and I noticed that my pointer finger was on the "b" string or "c" note and it sounded nice and then lifted off.but I have been practicing using that "g"shape with ring finger.sorry long winded, but I would appreciate your feedback.thanks

I've got a song suggestion 4NONBLONDS-WHATS GOING ON!! I've tried figuring it out on my own by listening but I always lose track after certain notes are played. I'm a self taught by book tabs and listening to what song I wanted to learn to play and studying the tabs for that song, and then ill play it & repeat it all, over & over until I don't forget it!! I appreciate your videos they help out a lot when I've got the time, and I always, practice at least 1 time a day and try to watch at least 1 of your videos when I do find the time!!! So thanks!!!

Recently I’ve been trying to learn how to sing lol..I know right;)
I’m a beginner guitarist;
I think I will learn the guitar a lot faster if I learn to sing.
Right now I’m trying to learn to sing songs that I think I’m “singing in key” lol
I’m trying to learn this version of Chris Cornell’s unplugged version on RUclips.
Anyways, long story short I’m tying to figure out which key Is my wheel house?
I “think” I’m singing in key to Chris’s unplugged version. I’m challenging myself by singing in front of musically inclined friends and they said “you know when you are off key” overall good for what it is haha.
