In this clip, Vlad asked Lyfe Jennings about his thoughts on Kanye’s recent comments about the Jewish and Black community. Lyfe explained that Kanye seems to read something that gets him excited and he doesn’t do research before speaking. Vlad then pointed to Kanye’s comments about George Floyd, and Lyfe stated that he’s not painting Kanye as a victim in his “Till You Gone” video. From there, Lyfe started off stating that Jewish people can’t be seen as a race, which Vlad corrected, telling Lyfe that Jewish is both a religion and race.
Lyfe explained truth and an opinion of truth perfectly.

Jewish pertains to the religion of Judaism. A "Jew" is pertaining to the bloodline of a certain people, those people's religion is Judaism. The overwhelming majority of Jews are Ashkenazi, Sephardi and Mizrahi. All of these groups are genetically closer to one another than to other groups of people, and have recent common ancestry from the Levant.

Ethnicity is a group based on shared history and culture. Race is a group based on shared physical characterists. Ethnicity is a better way to classify people anthropologically but neither are useful in biology. Race is literally a concept created by slavers and colonizers to justify the world they were creating/upholding.

JEWISH IS NOT A RACE. Interbreeding of a specific religious people doesn't make it a race. That's like saying Amish people are a race. Caucasian is a race. Different ethnic Caucasian is not a race. There are many ethnic groups and tribes around the world that can trace their DNA to a specific group. That doesn't make them a race of people. If that was true, there would be hundreds of different races of African people alone.
