When you are Black or Brown-skinned, a lighter skin tone is worth more than 2.3m million darker tones. That's how the Western world rolls!
And the rub is that, in termss of international law, it is the Palestinian people's right to defend themselves against an occupation that has seen them being imprisoned in the world's largest concentration camp for 17 years. When they tried to break out of the illegal prison that is called Gaza, where 2,3m people were held hostage, the jailer gets called the victim and the hostage gets called out for trying to escape. It’s not just him. Very few major artists are willing to risk that slight dip in their net worth. An artist’s work should be to raise the consciousness of their listeners. But it’s more profitable to keep them high and stupid. Shows what all that money’s really worth.

I see what he’s saying to a point. When Ukraine was invaded I couldn’t sleep for weeks. First time I ever saw war live. It disturbed me for a couple months. And I’m black American. But I am often bothered of the many atrocities and devastation of our country and the world, that’s why my prayers are always almost an hour long. But I also understand that I’m a very empathic person as well. We don’t know how Khaled feels but it really doesn’t matter. Nothing he can do about it. His opinion isn’t relevant

Despite claiming to be atheist or agnostic, Vlad and others discuss most religious practices with some sort of respect. Not with Christianity though, it’s discussed as a laughing matter that’s not to be taken seriously. It’s not just Vlad that does this though.

He’s correct about how humanity should come together to address human issues with diplomacy, I’ll give him that. BUT Islam believes the prophet Isa aka Jesus will return at the end of the world to save everyone. So the anti-Christian idea he said doesn’t really make sense, nor does the theory that Jews have to control the Holy Land for Jesus to return. The Pharisees killed Jesus, why would he return to the murderers’ front door? And I’m not religious (I’m an atheist) but I’ve read both Bible and the Quran, and DL come across like he’s speaking facts, but he does mix in some tin foil hattery in with his statements. All in all though, I respect his philanthropic humanistic approach.
