found your page at the end of last year when I found myself unexpectedly hospitalized for almost a month. I loved seeing the “other side” of what I was going through through a nurse’s eyes. It’s so true that being a position where you are really caring for people creates a special if temporary bond. I am so grateful to people like you who come to work every day with grace and compassion and the desire to do good by your patients. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Just started in the ED as a new nurse and I’m coming back to watch these videos, they give me so much reassurance 🥹🩷 miss your videos and hope you’re doing well!!
I took my NCLEX yesterday and was officially licensed this morning--I'm so glad I found your channel during nursing school and got to see part of your journey! Congratulations to making it to your 1 year mark; I can't wait until I get to be where you're at now!! I wish you the best in your future and am so proud of you! 💞
I'm so proud of YOU! Congratulations on passing your NCLEX, that's huge!💖
This is exactly what I needed to hear! Thank you! Congratulations on your journey! Your patients are lucky to have you!
Aw thank you so much!
I'm a registered nurse with 20 years of experience! Thanks for sharing.
New grad RN here! Loved your video 🥹 I’m exactly one month in of working in an ER and wow has it been a journey already. Sometimes I get a knot in my stomach the night before my shifts, I’ve just felt so incompetent. But like you said, some days are better than others and I have those moments where everything just clicks. Then I go back the next day and I’m back at square one lol. I’m just pushing through and trying to learn as much as I can so I can be a great nurse for my patients. Again, loved the video because it’s nice to know all these feelings are normal. 🥹🫶🏼
Hi Sierra! I’ve watched you since nursing school and now I’m a new grad! I love your real, uplifting videos! ❤
WE did it! Yay
Congratulations Sierra!!! You are a huge inspiration to so many
Love your channel! I'm an absn student! I graduate December 9th lord willing! You are doing fantastic!
December will be here before you know it, congratulations!!
This makeup look compliments you so well! You look beautiful 🥰
Thank you so much Jennifer
Hey guys, I am very happy I just passed the new generation Nclex with a great help from Dr Luther. My advice to everyone preparing for the new Generation Nclex is to contact Dr. Luther and pass your test very easily.
I’m about to take my entrance exam for nursing school, and this was just the video I needed!
You got this, so excited for you!
Your voice and personality makes me feel like I'm getting a warm hug 🥲 (New grad ER right here and still in preceptorship) charting is my biggest challenge as English is not my first language. Also I think I'm dyslexic so that makes it harder🥴
Thank you. This was beautiful… 2nd semester nursing student. 😊
I would love mid shift. In Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦, so many hospitals do DayDayNightNight ( 7-7) . It's so hard to flip back and forth.
I'm starting my new grad RN job in a few weeks! I'm so nervous and excited.
How exciting!! You’re gonna do great!! ❤❤❤
I'm so excited for you! This new chapter of your life is going to be filled with so much joy!
how’s it going girl???
I am working in med surg for 6 years and feel like ready for change. Watching your blog makes me feel to try ER 😁
Do it! You've got nothing to loose & everything to gain!

Sounds like Capella University 😌~~ I loved it! I completed My RN-BSN ~ in and out~ If I’m right good choice !!! Hope you like it
You're spot on! Happy to hear you loved it!
Im nearing the end of nursing school with one semester left. Im still struggling to figure out what area of nursing I want to go into but ER is an area i'm interested in but am very nervous, the first clinical in the ER I was so so scared but I think it was because it was very important to me and a big interest of mine since a kid. I would like to ask you, how did you know ER was where you wanted to go and did you have other areas you were considering or was it an immediate feeling of "ER is it"? Thank you for sharing your experiences and tips !!
Hello, I worked about 10 and half months at Kaiser clinic residency program and resigned three weeks ago, I wasn't enjoying the nursing jjourney and am not sure which area of nursing area that I want to work in. Do you have any suggestions of how I can find my niche and enjoy being a nurse and also, how did you know you wanted to work in the ER?
I have questions as a father sending my kid to the University to earn her BSN just last month. Thank you for the videos and update.
1. With an associates degree how much is the pay in all 3 different shifts.
2. With a BSN how much more will be earned.
3. What is the name of the school you will be
earning your BSN
4. Where did you earn your Associates degree.
5. Is there a nursing simulation training online that you recommend.
You look so beautiful. Such a beautiful soul ❤️
Would you ever do a video on how much RUclips paid you?
What resources or books have you used so far to help you work in ER?
Hey Im about to begin a LVN program through a hospital nursing school I was just wondering how did you become an RN before having a BSN, did you do a LVN to RN bridge program? Also what job/role would continued education lead to?
Mid shifter for life!! I work 1p-1a and will never go back!
The BEST!
I just started my first year in nursing school this week! I’ve been struggling with adjusting to everything but this video assured me that it’s going to be okay!🥰
Absolutely going to be okay🤍 & try your best to enjoy the ride because it'll go by quick, trust me!
Hi Sierra!! Been watching you for a long time and I’m so glad you’re back! TOMORROW (9/7/23) is my first day as an ICU new grad!!! I’m in the ICU support pool (not float pool), so this means I get to be in cardiopulmonary, neuro, surg/trauma, medical, and burn ICU! No peds for me thankfully lol, not for me. So exciting, and thank you for your words of wisdom!! Much love from NY! Though I’m a new grad nurse, I’ve been an ICU tech for a few years and you’ve got the ICU touch I can tell. I cannot believe we have the same love for flight too! I got to do a rotation in school with a local flight crew and it genuinely changed my life. I did that as a student so I’m sure you could shadow as an ER nurse!!!
Started working in the ER for a month now. I agree with everything you say about working in the emergency room. I love your positive energy and your love for nursing, it’s so inspiring! Love watching your videos 💕
Aw thank you so much!

About to start nursing school and this was an amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. ❤
So excited for you to begin your journey!
Nursing student here! Love your videos they help me so much. I also work in the ED near me! I love it ❤
I’m in school now but am slightly worried about my pets when I become a nurse. Do you have a pet sitter come and check in on Camper during your shifts?
I totally get that & you are not alone! I'm fortunate enough to be able to take him to my parents when I work! I'd suggest Rover, talking with others that you will eventually work with about helping, getting a pet camera, or checking in on your lunch if that's feasible!
Can you please do a makeup routine!!! And if you self tan too!!
New subscriber to your channel. Hugs from Athens, Greece ❤
I just graduated nursing school in June and started my residency in the medical ICU and it’s been quite the learning curve but I absolutely love it! I feel like you would flourish in the ICU! The patient care and connects you get to build with them and their family during the worst/scariest moments of their life is priceless. I know you get the same type of situations in the ED but you definitely get to build more of a connection in the ICU. So excited for you and your upcoming ventures!!! 💕💕💕
I love this so much sierra I missed seeing your videos!!! I feel like I’m on FaceTime with a friend 🤍 so excited for you and camper on the bigger apartment !!! Also Love the quote slow Is smooth smooth is fast. Coming from someone who is easily frazzled, it’s good to be reminded of that!!!

Hi Sierra! I currently work in the icu as a tech, and it truly is a great place to learn. I also understand about trying to be in the present. I'm in nursing school right now, and it is so easy to lose that. I hope you had a great summer! 🧡☀️
Hope nursing school is going great for you!

Wooohooo! So close!
hi there Sierra, congrats on completing one year as an ER Nurse milestone! 🧡 I am graduating next May, and I was trying to find a link you once posted on your videos about each state and the nursing hourly wage info. do you still have it anywhere? i would love to take a peek at it again!
❤thank you for sharing your experience .
Hey Sierra, I am just starting my LAST year of nursing school and have been working as an undergrad on a post surgical floor for 1 year. I am an aspiring Labor and Delivery Nurse! It is SO important to take care of yourself. I also gave this advice to a first year nursing student the other day: Call your mom and each semester or season of your life will push you in different ways. I never could have imagined the experiences that I've gotten in nursing school and as an undergrad but I am so glad that I have. Thank you for sharing!
What book would you recommend for charting?
So glad you are back!❤️
Me too🥺🤍
My cousins husband is a flight nurse
