I used to think I had a fear of *being* ugly but it was the ugly feeling of being betrayed by someone you admire that haunted me. Much more complicated but the feeling of being unwanted is all the same.
You touch on a great point, of how seemingly a simple externally visible phenomenon can be layered by so many intricate differences. Two people can have eating disorders but they can have completely different reasons for doing so. One may be caring about looks and the other may be caring about athletic performance. For anyone to truly navigate their suffering they have to look beyond the initial layer of a problem and I'm happy you were able to find that one deeper layer.

Can you do a video about balding specifically. I started balding at 20, and it utterly devastated me, im better now, but it still makes me insecure.
I'm thinking about getting a transplant as a solution for now but im curious about what you think.
People underestimate the psychological toll balding takes on you when youre young.
Also thanks for anyone who thinks i should just shave it but i dont have a very glattering skull shape 😅
