Ive done 10,000 miles now. Serviced myself, No problems of note. Instrument panel a bit of a joke. Speedo, recorded milage and revs work fine. The rest is very random 😂. Rides well. Adiquate on road. Capable off road. Sacked of original tyres. Ive got Mitas trail mastes. A bit of soft luggage. Otherwise standard. Use it daily.
The rain comes directly off the tyre after it comes from the cover of the mudguard, that’s why I was considering leg shields like on the Honda C90. It would look daft though 🙄😂
There is a wiring harness that cable tide just behind the headlight bowl, if you cut the cable tie and move slightly to one side and re attach with new tie, it gives you just enough room to set the beam lower. Hope that helps.
Hi ignore that 20.38 on my comment😣🤣 mistake yeah on frame next headlight take black frame bung off exposes bolt slacken off not to much or headlamp mounting bolt nut falls into bezal..... then aim headlamp down did same with my himy cheers from dave...
For all the information you need on Jimmy the Himi, get in touch with Nathan Millward at Dorothy’s Speed shop. What he must know about the Himalayan. I’m sure he’d help you out with any questions you have Jack.
I have done about 600 miles on my 2021 411 which I bought on 7th Nov and have been out on it at every opportunity, it is being serviced and a new rear tyre to be fitted this coming week. I have fitted heated grips and I am replacing the hand guards that came with it with RE ones. What brand are those road lights Jack?

They certainly do have huge character don’t they? ❤️🏍️🤘🏻
Nice ride out Jack. Hope better soon so can be back on it
Hi Jack, another great video on JtH. Looks a lot of fun riding him. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Real motorcycling I think! Thank you👍
It absolutely is Dave. Cheers buddy 👍
nice one jack , seen the new model at the bike show looks really nice , hope your recovery is going well from your op m8
Cheers Paul, yes recovery is going well, just very slowly 👍
Been looking at a Himi 411. Love the character. Whats that Oxford box on ya bars?
Do you mean on the seat? It’s just an Oxford seat bag. Really handy and waterproof 👍
You maybe will have to fit a 50mm thin piece of flat rubber down each side of the front mudguard to act as a side fender extender.

Hi Jack.
I used to run that green be beaded slime in my AT. So if you do unfortunately get a puncture it will instantly seal the hole.
I wondered if that was possible. Cheers Jay 👍
To adjust the headlight, just unscrew the two bolts, one on each on side. And the headlight can rotate up and down
Tried that, doesn’t move at all.
@@motomogul Maybe is stuck... Try to remove the bolts and remove the headlight.

Thanks Tim. Someone else mentioned this fix too and it did do the trick. Thanks buddy 👍

Cheers Dave, I did ignore your last message, I didn’t understand it! 🤔😂 Cheers for the advice on that, I’ll give that a go tomorrow 👍
You can get tubeless kits but it's not cheap ... it's basically thick rim tape . There's some videos on the tube
@1gp100 Thanks Jim, will take a look 👍

They don’t appear to have a name on them Barry, I’ll take another look for a name today and let you know if I find one 👍
