i wanna use the same foundation for the base rest on what's the exact same size. how many foundations with wide and long, i did 20 wide and 16 long but didn't looks the same as the one is the vid long or wide view. so is it 22 wide and 32 long since you double the size of the floor? ? im confuse on this part cause you said you doubled it in side so can lay out the blue print like you did, try to watch it step by step just need the correct numbers for the foundations on the ground
I built this base. I modified it a bit to my taste. 1) I used 4 Blade traps instead of 8. (half shorter) 2) I used trigger plates before the first electric fence , with 1 dart trap inline with the electric fence post for possible head shots 3) Same plan as above right at the melee section of the base. 4) For efficient darts I broke the traps(eight of them) on the ceiling into 4 block regions and hooked them to the trigger plates mentioned above. ran a horde night with it (Day 49) and it went super smooth. My base is all concrete right now, Ill upgrade as I get steel made. Thank you for the video and the plan , I subscribed!
Hopefully this will still be valid base design in the next update, but wow what a entirely detailed and well presented explanation of the layout and building guide.
I FINALLY built this in a real playthrough. Resource heavy, but man does it pack a punch! I just beat the day 28 horde on darkness falls playing permadeath. The only issue this base has is the night stalkers walking through the final barrier they get to. I'm gonna add an extra block there in the back and and a smg turret on the inside of the base. Will update with results on my day 35 horde. GREAT BUILD AND GREAT CONTENT CREATOR!
Just built this in the wasteland with 2 friends, excited to try it out for our day 49 horde. Only cement so far though with crucial points as steel. Glad this is a version you can repair the electrical components during the horde, last base once it broke it was done for the night lol.
those poles on the outside of the build, for extra support don't work all that well, I prefer fullblock core, cladding on sides, and the narrow pole in the corners. for a 9block "support column" or 12 block on a 2block center pylon. but if it's not UNDER it, then in the case of a collapse it won't save anything.
In order to operate fully effective all night the blade traps need to be repaired continuously due to the low durability but other than that great base!
As of today I was not able to to use arch thin windows can not repair or see thur them they have fix the bug and with hatch doors on top of dart traps can not full or repair just heads up
@@PixelLifeGaming This base is epic! I ran two horde nights in it. First one kinda sucked a bit. I triggered a demo and he destroyed half the electrical stuff. Second horde was much better tho! Thanks heaps. P.S, have a slight crush :P

Hi, thanks for this build, I just built it and we ran it on a days 70 horde and it worked very well. One thing though that I might have missed, the dart traps did not shoot a single dart. Are they supposed to be connected to something (other than the electricity) to trigger them? Thanks!

Do blade traps set off demoman? I've been hesitant to build traps because I'm not sure which ones can trigger it to explode

I actually built this base on ekos community server and it works so good it's incredible ty for the tutorial.

The actual Build is 21 long (Main body is 14 long) by 16 wide so you'll need your ground surface area to be a little bit large than this.

Great Build. However I noticed that after I got everything built, the blade traps are setting off the dart traps. Any suggestions?
Did you hook your blade traps to your dart traps? If so they should be on a separate circuit

@@PixelLifeGaming Yes. I have 1 gen with switch to Dart Traps, 1 gen with switch for blade traps and 1 gen with switch for electric fences.
