Given all the actions, this looks like a great method to process and was excited to watch. Unfortunately, the information was covered so quickly and without any type of explanation, I found the video to be nearly useless. Wish it could be presented more slowly with explanations along the way.

Understandable. I have several comments from others saying my videos are too long. I'd hate to send you to other videos, but the process used for this image is covered in several other flash/ambient videos I've made, which go more in-depth.
Making these videos are a balancing act between too long of a video and not enough information given.

Thanks for that information. Could you point me to a couple of the videos that you would suggest I should start with I. Order to learn your technique? Thanks!

Curious if you knew about auto stack by capture time. Then select all HDR and merge to HDR?

I do, but that adds time having to go through and pull the 3 ambient files from the flash files. Then you have to autostack, merge and re-elect the hdr + flash layers.
That's too many steps. I prefer to select all the ambient + flash layers at the same time per scene: then open as layers, run an action that merges the 3 ambient into one layer before carrying on with the rest of the blend/action.
Once recorded ss an action, it's way less steps and way less time imo

Great! I have a question if you dont mind.
how do you manage colour cast on walls and especially on furniture? Sometimes, when i finish a shoot and start editing, if the sofa is grey, it will look different colour, and i won't remember the exact colour. Is there a way to avoid or to fix. thank you

It really depends on what technique you are using but this is exactly why I choose flash/ambient over HDR.
With F/A I raise my shutter speed to as fast I can go with my max sync speed which is 1/250.
At that shutter speed, basically all ambient color is cut out of the flash frames and all I have to do is light each space with flash.
By doing so, you're allowing the "pure" light of the flash to bring in the correct color.
If you're using HDR, you can select the sofa or furniture with the object selection tool, select the correct color with the eye dropper tool, create a Solid Color adjustment, then set the Solid Color to Color blend mode.
This will mask the object in question with the correct color applied over top of the object. Then from there you can tweak the SC layer to whatever color closely matches the object in question or whatever you think looks realistic.
