I’m so happy to be able to watch you create these wonderful pieces that bring you such joy. The shoulders are fixable and I know very few of us who get everything right the first time!
I was directed here by DixieDIY when I asked about making historic clothing for transmasc and nb folks...it looks like I'm in the right place! I look forward to seeing more of your work
Omg! I am so glad to have come across your channel! I'm listening to you while I hand sew the hem on a modified hydrus coat for my similar aesthetic! Long live the gentlethems!
Oh wow, this looks fantastic! It's been fun to watch you work out all of the individual pieces of this amazing outfit, I'm looking forward to see what you do next.
Wow! Your developing your look is parallel with mine. I now wear knee britches and waistcoat. I'm still learning how to improve. Life is good. I need a copy of that pattern book.
It looks so amazing! I've been following this on Insta, loved getting to see the process and see it in action. And seeing how happy it makes you is utterly wonderful. (Also always yes to Regency popped collars!)
This video made me so happy. When you pulled out the same book I used for my first waistcoat started a goofy grin the lasted through the whole video. Thanks. Also note to self learn about pad stitching interlinings before my next waistcoat.
That's me! I'm a dear friend Ollie 😊
You ARE a dear friend. This fabric is so nice.
You are!! You've sent me linen too!
:D YES. YOU'VE BEEN OUTED AS A LOVELY HUMAN.

I am digging all of the color and pattern mixing in this whole outfit. Well done!

I believe there is a free PDF of The Cut of Men's Clothes out there, or so I've heard! So fun that we're clothing trend twins haha. :)

Yay!! That book is such a winner. :)
Such a good look!
Ah, thank you!! :D It makes me so happy to wear.
I have the same fabric!!! I have mine as a great kilt and I currently sleep in it.
(Too poor for 8 yards of wool tartan)
8 yards would be so much $$ for wool, legit!! That's rad though. :D
Love!
the final outfit is big gender tbh
HAHAHA. :D
... and to be slightly argumentative The Cut of Men’s Clothes is heckin’ spendy so maybe the project cost was a bit more than $3. 🤷🏻
LOL you're not wrong. Book was purchased in my job-having days. ;P
My cousin who makes costumes for a living suggested the book to me today and I was shocked at the price. Like dang.
