    I just bought one of these 2 weeks ago and I am absolutely in love with this car. I went with the Still Night Pearl exterior (Blue) and I receive so many compliments on it. I even had a lady follow me and flag me down just to tell me she loved it. This car exceeds my expectations and it is my first ever Honda!! I am very well pleased!

      Jay Mac looks are subjective but the outgoing model looked so good, particularly in Sport/Touring trim. As one whose owned the last four generations of Accord sedan, this is the first one I’ve no interest in. But I’m looking forward to how the MMC will turn out.

      @@MidnightAspec Totally agree. That last generation Accord looked very sharp. This new model is just awful on all accounts. Hate the fastback look and the pinched off ass end. The front is ugly too. This whole weak-chin, bucket-mouth look that has cropped up from many manufacturers lately has got to go. They even screwed up the new Camaro with it and people are hating on it now.

      Ditto. It looks better in person. My only gripe is: I heard they have a horrible sound system. Idk if that's true, but I'll find out soon when I visit the dealer next month. Carconfections, we love your reviews, but in the future, please take some time to review the sound system a bit longer. I hear its horrible. As a shopper, the sound system is not frivolous. For someone who travels for work or loves long drives, we rely on a good sound system to get in the "zone."

    Remote start Key fobs are available for all 2018 Honda accords and trims 1.5 and 2.0. Just go to your Honda parts store and pick up a remote start key fob. part number 72147-TVA-A21. Prices may vary. I Paid $91.15 at Parts Honda of Chula Vista, CA. Afterward take new fob to service department for reprogramming service. No extra parts are required. Takes about 25 minutes. I was charged $ 130.00 at the service department of Pacific Honda, CA. No more getting into a hot or cold car.

      You may have mentioned the specific trims but in the video you said heated seats, moon roof, remote trunk release and remote start are only on ex trims and up which as khafre already said, it’s on the 2.0 liter sport trim. Also, remote start is included on the honda link system application which is on the 1.5 liter sport model. Everyone makes mistakes but you should have edited the video and put a message correcting yourself on mistakes you made that way at least you don’t have redo an entire section of the film.

    I've had mine for a couple of weeks, Touring 2.0l, and it appears to be the right car for the money, but I gotta say it seems more fragile and flimsy than the previous generation, pre-2018, Accords. It's certainly made of lighter weight materials, the 19" tires ride rough, and the rims are easy to scrape when parking. It sits so low to the ground that many riders are uncomfortable getting in and out of the vehicle. I love the safety and infotainment features but I'm just not sure this car will hold-up like previous models. What say ye?

    I has a 2018 2.0 Touring. I said had because I got smoked in an accident and my car is written off. I will probably get the 2019 version again. A couple of negatives. Leg room on the driver side is a bit limited. My knee would bang up against the inside. If you drive a lot this might be a consideration to think of. My other complaint is the speakers. They are so so. Would expect better in their highest trim. Other than that it has a ton of bells and whistles. Great back seat leg room

      except for the extra trunk option, everything else i wouldnt like to have. the moonroof will have leak problems later on, all those extra sensors like lane watch, brake assist and all the rest are to make people more dumb and let the car drive them so my answer would be big no. People that like and enjoy driving would actualy like to control the car and not the other way around. also the touch screen bs that now every car has is not my favourite, having a car tablet mount option would be a better option couse the technology advances really fast and i hate those touchscreen bs in a vehicle. also the back of this accord is just so bad, thats why i got the 2017 sport manual. all those buttons on the new generation just look weird and definitely made to impress kids and low iq people, like the parking brake/e-brake button, hold brake etc. just imagine giving someone to drive a 10yrs old vehicle after these new vehicles drive them around, it would be hilarious without all those buttons for them

      Intresting how Toyota/Subaru just had a recall too. It's going to happen because companies are trying some thing new. See, I don't know why people immediately point the finger at Honda.
      www.thestreet.com/investing/toyota-and-subaru-to-recall-more-than-400-000-vehicles-worldwide-14765936
      Man, you seem cool and all, but I think you need to do some research instead of listening to people comment or the media or wherever you heard it from. It's happening to 10th gen civics/cr-v's meaning cars from 2016-2018.
      www.hondaproblems.com/oil-dilution/
      It's happening to people who take short trips in cold weather. “Please note that this is an extreme cold weather issue related to drivers who rarely drive longer than very short trips, often before the engine can properly warm up. Thus, it’s not very common in the US when compared to overall CR-V sales volume (nearly 380k sold last year in the US).”
      www.hondaproblems.com/models/civic/generations/10
      Also, more issues came from the 2016 civic with 255 complaints vs. 2017 with 38. That's a BIG decrease. Also, 2016 models have a higher number in the painrank scale. And guess how many complaints 2018 has? 8. It's easy to say Hondas engines, have issues but that is the most generic statement.

    I own the 2019 accord sport 1.5t and I am not sure what is the deal with honda and this wheels, has anyone noticed the orientation and the spurs rotation...if you look at the vehicle from the right side looks like the rotation is right but if you look at the driver side looks like they are backwards, just wandering if that will have some effect on the brake system cooling or other performance impact.

    • @Prophe71
      @Prophe71 5 лет назад +2

      It's for cost saving so they they don't have to manufacture 2 different sets of wheels... And no it doesn't affect performance as they're not directional in a way that the orientation of the wheels determines better cooling of the brakes... The open design of the wheel alone will provide more than enough cooling... These aren't performance brakes we're talking about... Hope this helps... 👍😊
