I love how emotional he gets over Dollhouse. Some of his best work is tucked away in that series and so many Whedon fans haven't seen it.
I never get tired of his work and he never disappoints. His shows are the only ones I am actually rewatching every year.

This was just AWESOME!! He is genius personified. I am so glad that Angel & Faith and Buffy Season 9 are coming out soon because if they weren't and I had to wait until 2012 for The Avengers and Cabin In The Woods to come out, I would go completely and totally insane.
I didn't manage to make it into the room until the question and answer session, but the last 3 years I didn't get to see him at all, so, PROGRESS! Seeing Joss on the big giant monitor, I was struck by something i'd never noticed about him before: His eyes. They are SO soulful and kind-looking, he was honestly giving off a vibe like he's some sort of MONK! Truly a magical man!
Absolutely fantastic, I can't wait to see everything that comes from this man. :)

It’s hard to like these films( Avengers and AOU) Joss might be talented in this one section of filmmaking but my gosh he is a horrible person. Locking Gal Gadot in a bathroom forcing her to do some stupid scene were she gets over sexualized. Making the flash into a joke, making Batman into a joke, literally butchering someone’s face(Cavill) and ruining someone’s vision and then turning it into a joke. he is a racist as well, he wanted to change the color of some actors because they were black and they wanted to do it with CGI. He’s a liar, a racist and a cheater and he has no manners, he needs to be put down. #IstandwithRayFischer

@IEXxILEDI I can see another movie happening, but i doubt they'll be another firefly. Wash is dead, Zoe is on Suits, Jane is on chuck, and of coarse nathan does castle. Firefly defiantely deserved many seasons, but as things are now i dont see it coming back :(
@LostNbound chuck ends this year but i don't know about the rest im sure they can make up a new crew zach levi and joshua gomez would be the best team of smugglers and adam could join them maybe it could be in the same universe just not on serenity?

I got sad when he mentioned wanting to do a spider-man comic with Bryan Hitch. He'd make a great spider-man writer, everything about the way he writes dialogue screams spider-man haha

I brought in the ratings to make it pretty obvious i was sarcastic...
And the same for The avengers, the only difference being they had a decade of marvel movies (Iron man, avengers, hulk, ecx) leading of continuously to the avengers, causing too, to become over hyped. It's Basically the same effect.

Actually... don't get me wrong; the earlier commenter was a total troll person, and I love Joss Whedon (Buffy is made of everything good) and Avengers was an avesome film. But what are you trying to prove bashing things that are "serious, dark, brooding and humourless"? We need all kinds of movies (except maybe the stupid kind). Also, what critics and other people thought of it, doesn't matter either, since this is all subjective we are talking about here. I'm with you on the thought, though.

Doesn't get what? I got what you were saying: you used irony to prove the other guy's ridiculousness. I'm just saying putting rotten tomatoes or IMDB score up there really has nothing to do with the quality either way. Or such adjectives as serious, dark, brooding and humourless. Not everything needs to be those things, but some things definately do.

Yes! Finally someone who shares my views on what a Marvel film should be like! Yes, The Avengers should've cut back on that god awful humor. What was up with all those silly scenes? The only explanation for the ratings it got is that it was a terrible movie indeed. And don't get me started on those actors they picked. Robert Downey Jr.? Tom Hiddleston? Mark Ruffalo? And the rest, just terrible choices.

I need to get into to a movie to be able to have fun. To get in to a movie, I need to have something that will emotionally connect me to it. If the movie is just action with a lot of explosions, and their is nothing to connect me to the movie, I won't have fun. When a movie is 10% plot and 90%CGI fest, you may as well just called it Micheal bay the movie. That's all the avengers was. There was even a big worm robot from transformers 3 in it. I'm surprised bay did not make this.

You seem to be a little fixated to know about that one song he wrote for Lion King 2. That's a bit obsessive man.
Kinda weird to see a guy come back from the abyss - from tv no less. His Alien 4 script was horrible; funny how they ever thought that was a good script to produce. That said, Whedon's recent work has a passion and precision about it - comics, superheroes, - which is inspiring nevertheless.
