- Hi Crafty Friends! The next person on the hop is:
Ingrid: • EASY technique to make...
Thanks so much for joining me today! Today my card is featuring #layereddies that I created using the software for my Scan N Cut die cutting machine. I've recently been obsessed with layered cover dies and I figured out a way to make my own, so I'm thrilled to be able to share one of them featured in this video! This starburst design has to be one of my new favorites. I will show you how to blend ink using make up brushes and add dimension, glitter and gems to really jazz this card up.
If you are interested in being considered for winning a prize, you need to comment on as many videos as possible along the hop and include your country. The more you comment, the better your chances are of winning some great products! All comments on the hop are due no later than April 5th. Prizes will be drawn on April 10th.
I'm offering a really cute stamp set that is not mentioned in the video, but darling just the same. If you have not yet subscribed, be sure to hit that button so you don't miss any future videos!
Oh! If you are interested in purchasing the cut file I created, please head to my Etsy shop shown below in the links section!

I love cards with layered dies but they have always been out of my price range. It never occurred to me to try and create them myself. Thanks for the idea. USA

Oh my gosh, I love that tip about using old release paper under intricate die cuts so the adhesive doesn't get on the table underneath! I love layered die cuts but don't love adhering them. USA
Love your doubling cardstock before die cutting hack. The addition of the little hearts really brought the card together. USA
This is just gorgeous! I LOVE how you put the little heart gems in the cuts! Just beautiful USA
Yes, I would love to see more die cut layer cards. Beautiful card. USA
That is a very pretty card, I love the bling, the shimmer and the layering. Thank you for the tip on stacking up your paper before cutting. USA

Love the look of layered dies, but not the price tag! Yours is so pretty, you've done a great job! Thanks for sharing! USA
The finished card turned out beautiful. Thanks for participating and bringing some fun to our stay at home days. Be well. USA
We've had lots of rain, but the sun is shinning today here in S. California. What a mood booster! This hop is such a great idea. Love watching new crafters. Thanks for your video. I don't have any layered dies yet.
I've never used the Scan N' Cut before, I think I need to do some investigating! Thanks for sharing your beautiful card! USA
I would like to have a ScanNCut! For projects such as these. Sadly, design layering sets are so expensive, the closest I get to them is adding them to my wishlist. Lol
I would like to thank you, for your hard work resulting in some great technical skills. Also, your generosity and participation in the blog hop. Stay safe, healthy & crafty! 😊 USA🇺🇲
You are using your scan and cut for detailed items like this more than I have. I can't seem to get used to the design space for it. You gave me hope that I may figure it out one day! Very nice! USA
What a stunning card! I love the color combination you used on this card. You are such a talented crafter and it is an honor to be a part of this hop with you. Take care!
I love the idea of cut files for layered backgrounds, instead of dies! ❤️❤️❤️
What a wonderful present you received from your husband, that machine is on my wish list. I love what you created. The card you made is lovely and when my present glitter pen is done I am going to try that glitter pen the results are shimmering! Thanks.. USA
Hello from KY, USA - Ok I am obsessed with this card! I would love to see more of how you cut stuff out. So unique!! Love the colors and how you stacked paper before you die cut them ... genius! I have been told to put double sided tape before ... but have never seen stacking first. Looking forward to more videos!!! Thank you for sharing this with us.
I love the layered look. I’ve always cut mine from colored card stock different tones of the same color. Never thought of inking them. Thanks for sharing from a Minnesota gal
USA Lovely card. I can't believe you designed it yourself! Wow! Beyond my capabilities. Thanks for the tip about the Scrapbookers glimmer pen. I didn't realize until today that Scrapbookers had their own line.
Never thought to make my own layering dies or printing a black sentiment strip. genius. ty (us)

That layered die is so beautiful! Your alternate way of gluing, or taping, was great! Thank you! Love the card. I’m in the USA.

I admire the way you were able to create your own die cuts for layering. I look forward to seeing more of your you tubes
I LOVE layering dies too, and if the Birch Press ones are out of your price range find Nellie’s Choice die’s, or ask your local scrapbook store to look into them. They are a European company but the price point on their layered dies is much more reasonable. Thanks for sharing! 🇨🇦
Hey! Thank you! I’ll check them out!!! ♥️
I make layered backgrounds like this using the Silhouette software. I cannot imagine spending that kind of $$$ for dies! I love how you embellished this and great tip to glue some of the heart layers together before die cutting! Will have to remember that! TFS! 😊US
Should have had this video 2 weeks ago when I spent longer than I’d card to admit trying to figure out my sparkle pen....who knew- remove the ring!!! LOL. Super cute card and technique. USA
I like the layered dues. So pretty with the graduated colors. I love the idea to pre-adhere paper before die cutting! That will save me a few cuss words. LOL
Thanks for sharing! USA

I love the fact that you created your own layered die cuts, I don’t have the scan and cut (yet) but have been thinking about getting one. I’m limited on space so not sure which one would be best for me. Old sub, in the US.
USA; would ❤️ to see more of the laying die cut cards. Also, love your color choices!

USA - Glad to see you make your own layering diecuts. I haven’t purchased any because they’re so dang expensive! Guess I need to sit down with my scan n cut!
Your use of layered dies and the look of the beautiful finished card have given me renewed interest in my layered dies. I want to try colors similar to those you chose to see if I can get the same results. I hadn't thought of using release paper beneath a die cut when using a tape runner. I seem to end up with sticky residue where I don't want it, and this tip should help fix that problem. Thanks for your tips and for sharing your lovely card. (USA)
Absolutely ❤️❤️❤️❤️ your card and would very much love to see more videos with layered dies!!!! Thanks so much for the inspiration! Lots of ❤️ from the Netherlands
Great work on designing your layered die cuts!! Love the finished card and that oh so sparkly glitter pen! TFS USA here.
That brush is amazing. Love the layered background. USA
This is really intricate. I admire your hard work and dedication to your cards.
USA, wow! I would love to be able to create my own layered die cuts, the dies are wonderful but out of my budget. Nuvo glue is my favorite as well, I can get the tiniest dots with that tip. Your card is gorgeous.
Love layered due cards. Lovely card. TFS. 🇨🇦
Absolutely beautiful! Those heart gems just got put on my must-have list...lol! USA
Very cool idea to ink the layers. I’ve only seen them done in white. I have a couple of layered card images in my Silhouette library so I can give this a try. TFS. USA
I love the layered look. I have often looked at purchasing the dies but they’re pretty pricey so I keep putting it of. Will give this a try! Thanks for sharing! Joanie USA 🇺🇸
The colour combination on this card really works, loved watching this come together. I’m from the uk 🇬🇧
