Something definitely not right with your Cardo Edge if the sound quality wasn’t good - the Edge has the best audio available on the market today.
True what you said about only 2 Bluetooth channels though.
I’ve used both Sena and Cardo too, Cardo Pactalk Edge is hands down the superior Comms unit in my personal opinion due to ease of use, waterproofness, battery longevity, have up to 15 riders connected via DM 2.0, range, sound quality, and the fact I can easily transfer it from lid to lid.
But each to their own, and obviously if the people you ride with all have Sena, then it makes sense to get the same Comms, otherwise you can’t connect via Mesh 👍

      Thanks for your Comment.
Possibly a problem with that one unit but impossible to troubleshoot, it sounded ok when sat at home but once I had my ear plugs in and riding it sounded really flat.

I have a single unit sena spider only can connect via mesh, i want to get another unit for my passenger. Not sure if i should get another sena or sell the spider and buy cardo
Just curious, is mesh better then bluetooth as far as reception and how clear it is? I don't ride in groups much just passenger- is bluetooth more clear then mesh

If you're just talking to your passenger then Bluetooth is fine, Mesh is good for a group of riders.@@dsd-downshiftdave8056

Thanks for the feedback, sounds ok to me.
If it's just the 2 of you I'd go with a Cardo as they have a good IPX (waterproof) rating as the Sena is not waterproof.

Thanks so much for this video! I usually use headset just to communicate with passenger, would you say mesh is better then bluetooth? Is bluetooth more clear reception? I currently have a sena spider single unit deciding whether i should get another sena or sell it and get 2 cardo HD spirit- but you are saying cardo sound is crap? Maybe I'll get another sena and make sure i don't get caught in rain
Also the integrated unit is only for specific helmets?

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply.
Re Mesh v Bluetooth, the sound quaility is the same, if there's just 2 people on the comms then BT is fine, Mesh works well when there's a lot of riders/pillions in the group as each Mesh device acts as a relay so you can get more range where as BT is paired between helmets so if the riders change order than the signal can drop.
The integrated is a partnership between the helmet manufacturers and the comms manufacturers, each comms model is designed to fit specific helmets.

Depends on your requirements, what devices do your riding buddies use? if none then I'd go with a Cardo with the 45mm JBL speakers.
