yo don't diss the 13B-MSP in the 8. it's gonna reward you if you treat it right, and the ones found in the refreshed 8s had their issues sorted out. Just premix, redline to keep the carbon away, feed it 10w40 NON-SYNTHETIC oil every 3000-5000 and keep an eye on the ignition system, especially the coils in all 8s and the starters in the older ones. If you do this it'll be fine. Seen a few with near 200k miles no rebuilds just good owners.
@@user-po4bn3gi1u With the exception of premixing, these are things you should be doing on most cars anyway. Changing the oil on time and the plugs/coilpacks. Granted there are some things an owner should be aware of that's different than having a regular piston engine though.
Although it's never a sports car or a race car. There was one vehicle which I understand why you didn't include. It was Volvo so many parts. I rarely ever broke down though. But when it did, it was probably one of the most expensive vehicles to ever. Just replace the engine because no one knew how to fix it. Especially over here in America.
he mistaken the Initial D with Wangan Midnight 💀
Okay, okay my bad 🥲
The ej engines are only unreliable if ur donut media
Shots fired 😂
Wow @Donut Media come see this🤣
@@simonyumba9512 what are they going to do? Put out more bullshit proving they don’t actually know cars? 😂
We got the shit 2.5 in the STI but the 2.0 is reliable one of the 2. Sadly we didn’t get the boosted 2.0.
no matter how unreliable and garbage the EJ engine is people will always say its not

Your answer proves the point.

im just curious who else stopped the video at 00:10 just to comment "wAnGaN MidnIgHT / IniTiaL d"
yep
Had to stop and curse for about a couple of seconds, understanding that whatever information might follow that would be possibly wrong.
"Wangan midnight" *Literally shows the most iconic car from INITIAL D*
dude every engine will fail if you dont maintain it right and tune it improperly, this video just comes of as rage bait
I can't stand my g54b Mitsubishi starion/conquest engine, I'm just waiting on a transmission for my 4g63 to swap in.
Great video bro but EJ are not too bad 🫣🤣
If you compare with Potato - Yes.
I agree. You just got to wrap your head around the fact that 450awhp should be your max unless your pockets are very very deep…
Is it a Bad sign to have 2 EJ25? I ask for a Friend 😬
If for a friend - YES.

The rb26 is really not a bad engine dont know anyone who killed his engine with 800hp+
If u modify it to solve issues, any engine will be hard to kill ;p

EJ engine is so bad. I had a totally unmodified Subaru and it blew up, but have had 7 Honda's and never had one blow up. Junk motors!
Knock knock, who's there? Your engine 😂
