Years ago when I was working in Italy I purchased a peach silk Fendi dress in Verona for $100. It was unique & lovely but they weren’t as popular as they’d been in the past. They kind of went silent for a while. Then I was living in Naples Italy when an opened a new shop on Via Filangieri near me. This is when Fendi reemerged again with their new stores & the spy bag.
I have a Fendi baguette from 1998 with the all over Fendi logo. It is one of my most prized fashion accessories. My boyfriend at the time saw me drooling over the bags in a magazine and asked, "This is what you covet?" "Yes," I answered. He later bought me the aforementioned baguette❤
My mother used to wear Fendi, I still have some of her crocodile bags, my Fendi stuff, from scarves , bags and dresses I wear to this day. The quality is superb. Heike Port Douglas Australia

I’ve never heard of fendi. I shop at kohls and not very often. I’m just a simple woman in her 60’s with lots of grandkids. But as a former bridal gown seamstress this was fascinating
I didn’t know the Fendi sisters. But I’ve brought Fendi since the late 80s. Girls of my era coveted a Fendi fur. They were fun & youthful & mostly fox. Not our grandmom’s minks!

Comparing anyone to the ghetto Gucci family is ridiculous. They seem pretty run run of the mill. All of those old fashion dynasties had some tension in the board room amongst the siblings as to how the family business should be run.
I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = $1000 max) imagine paying $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary. If you are also looking for niche yet fashionable products, kislux is definitely your best choice. There are many treasures hidden here that have not been discovered by the public
