- In this video I will be analyzing the feats and statements performed in the new "KiII the Justice League" video game to determine how much more powerful the Arkhamverse Batman has become since the Arkham Trilogy. Is he sub-Captain Boomerang level fodder, or vengeance and darkness personified?

Batman: Arkham (also commonly known by the fan-originated term Arkhamverse) is a series of action-adventure video games based on the DC Comics character Batman, developed by Rocksteady Studios and WB Games Montréal, and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The first two Rocksteady games were written by veteran Batman writer Paul Dini and featured voice actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprising their roles as Batman and the Joker, respectively, from the DC Animated Universe (DCAU). Conroy and Hamill returned to voice their characters in the fourth main installment of the series, Batman: Arkham Knight. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a 2024 action-adventure shooter game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. Based on the DC Comics team Suicide Squad, it is a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series, and a follow-up to Batman: Arkham Knight (2015). How is Pete faster when his best speed scaling is via electricity? Not only does Batman have the same scaling off electricity but he now scales off Superman who LS-MFTL.

Thanks for actually explaining a lot of the lore reasoning behind it. A lot of media illiterate people saw Batman’s death and used it as a way to say it’s bad writing that the Squad was able to kill him even tho it’s explained in dialogue.

In the Arkham games, Harley gets one punched by Batman in every game. In her Arkham City DLC she manages to capture Batman and coulda killed him at any time and she managed to beat the shit out of Nightwing in her Arkham Knight DLC.
Comic book stories always have inconsistencies when it comes to power level or “Vs” matchups.
Maybe if batman is playable. I'll consider buying it. But I don't know because seeing how there are lots of less players, it might get shut down

The Nightwing point is sad, since he's supposed to Batman's equal. It really is who is who the player play as that wins in video games.

I don’t know if Brainiac helped Bruce make it, but we can say that is disruptor can canonically take out superpowers too.
(Speaking of the disruptor, I wish they had explained that the upgraded weapons made them immune to the disruptor gadget from Arkham Knight, because the whole time I was wondering why Batman wouldn’t just use that to disarm them.)

@@mncrft3386False, Sefton Hill, Ian Ball, and Martin Lancaster did Arkham Knight which arguably was the weakest of the 3, and Paul Dini with Paul Crocker and Sefton Hill did Arkham City. Paul Dini wrote Arkham Asylum himself.
Martin Lancaster, Sefton Hill, and Ian Ball are the only recurring writers who wrote Suicide Squad KTJL. Mind you, all 3 of these writers wrote Arkham Knight which wasn't great and Sefton Hill was the only one from Arkham City.
If Paul Dini had written Arkham Knight and Suicide Squad KTJL and he wasn't affected by the woke mind virus that almost seems to affect every competent writer these days, then I'm sure this game could've been something special, but unfortunately, here we are...

That biggest part at the end where you said Bats was holding back is usually the thing that people don't think about in a lot of instances. In tons of different games/shows/movies/etc. people will always watch the fight and they'll "listen" to the dialogue but never try to understand it. Even if someone like you or even the directors comes out and tells everyone that the stronger person was holding back because they didn't want the other dead, people will still refuse to believe it solely because their favorite character lost.

@@CRISIS_COMICS I have. You mentioned them being amped by yellow lanterns and Batman "holding back not to kill them" and I don't disagree woth your overall conclusion on Batman's stats, etc.
I'm just pointing out the lanterns didn't amp the guns themselves as far as I've seen and considering how Batman is a master of not killing, he should still be decimating the entire squad as he should still be able to access most of his abilities and strength to knock them out.
And as far as canonicity stands, I'd predict based on how hard the game is being hated on (and rightfully so tbh) it's gonna end in a "batman and robin situation " where it's subsequently considered as a non canon parallel world and that we get afterwards another game/comic/whichever else that would be the new/true canon. Because even if Arkam Batman came back, Suicide Squad undone entirely what he did at the end of Arkam Knight where he hinted an opportunity for a possible Batman Beyond.
TLDR, great work on the vid but MAN, the PIS is INSANE and it probably won't remain "canon" for long anyway.
@@saintgogeto675 Toyman's description of the Yellow Lantern batteries state they empowered their guns. Batman did KO the entire squad and wanted to enjoy breaking their minds, Harley got lucky by leaning on her Joker lvl cunning.

Honestly, there might be an issue with the Flash segment and how you say it's a feat he survived a fight with Green Lantern. It could be argued that Green Lantern was holding back because he was talking about wanting to bring him back to the skull ship, which is consistent with Batman keeping Flash alive. So I don't think Flash is capable of handling Green Lantern's full power if he was holding back and still beat Flash
It wouldn't take a full power green lantern to stop a nuke
There’d be no reason for him to hold back the durability of his giant constructs which Flash can shatter.
@CRISIS_COMICS that depends if you think all the constructs share the same durability, but if the argument was made I can see green lantern constructs holding the same durability as they're made from the same source, but I doubt they all hold the same attack potency

The only thing they can do to make this story right is to just be a dream. I dont know how, maybe batman dreams and braniac is trying to crush his will by making his fears of his new family and him dying by the hands of criminals such as suicide squad.
Or just accept that regardless of circumstances. The squad won because they aren't facing competently bloodlusted versions of the Justice League.
We just had this man describe how they were able to dodge Superman's lasers, and that they receive incredible enhancements throughout the game.
The problem isn't that Batman was defeated, it's that the dialogue Harley gave him was basically spitting in the guys face.

Can you please do an in-depth video as to how Cap and Buckey were able to beat Iron Man in Civil War? Iron Man's phase 1 and 2 feats make it seem like he should've slaughtered them even in close quarters, and especially since he's bloodlusted. It doesn't make sense how he was able to box Thor longer in the mark VI, than the two of them in a more superior suit.

While I have not played suicide squad, where it is fair, i do think it is disingenuous to say harley isnt capable. People underestimate her, both in universe and even irl, but thats kind of her thiing. Shes originally a lacky of joker, who held her back, but its alluded to multiple times that shes possibly as capable as joker himself. This is even said in arkham knight where harley becomes an actual threat and joker in batmans mind says something along the lines of "wow she did all of this! (taking over the movie studios) she could never do anything like this before. its almost something was holding her back" which obviously alludes to joker holding harley back. Not to mention this video even poitnts out that after joker's death in Arkham city, in the harley quinn dlc, Harley's first outing got batman captured. In arkham knight she was able to beat nightwing who is bassicly batman's equal. And in the main campaign is said to be more dangerous than ever. Like a lot of arkham batman's story, the characters do have arcs, they're just really subtle. In any case, for harley specificlly, i think it does make sense that she would stay dangerous, and even more dangerous from being locked up and probably just imagining ways to kill batman in arkham over 5 years kinda like what frieza did in hell

They weakened every JL member they fought with tech or equipment given by people much smarter than the Squad themselves.
