I've done this 6 times. Well, technically 5 times. I gave birth the first time at age 17 and gave my tiny newborn up for adoption, placing her in the home of a loving adoptive couple who'd been trying unsuccessfully to concieve for nearly 10 years. That was a different type of postpartum experience altogether. I remember my mother ripping a white sheet into a long, wide strip and helping me wrap it tightly around my chest as a binding to help dry up my milk supply. She pinned it in place with two large safety pins while tears ran down both of our faces. I remember my body feeling like a hollow, empty bag of skin and the heartache that penetrated my whole soul. Postpartum is hard even under the best of circumstances, postparum mom's in every situation need all the love, help and support they can get.
Wait what! :o how is it curle that she made sure this child was given the best life possible with people that were in the right place in life to give a child everything instead of nothing? I think it's each to thier own on this one but it sounds like she done what was best for the baby she didn't just throw her into the system she made sure she had a mamma and dadda that love them like she carried her themselves. Just saying.

I agree - but wearing those ,adult diapers‘ just because you had given birth is really weird to me! Also all that stuff that she put in her bra…🤔😆 A maternity-pad in your normal pant (after a C-section you don’t need this either and a normal period-pad is mostly enough!) and maybe bra pads, if your milk flows really that much into a nursing bra - that’s enough in my opinion! All others is money making with new mums… (and sadly that works very well)!!
If you're experiencing that much leakage we all know babies grow out of newborn diapers extremely fast and usually alway have extras left over try using those in place of the breast pads. They also help to keep the moisture away from the nipples so you don't get so sore and helps keep the bacteria from the dampness away. I was told once that I was weird because I always wiped mine before and after feedings. But it was just my preference.

I’m so curious as to why I see so many breastfeeding mums pump as well? For me as a mum who had to bottle feed one baby the absolute relief of dispensing with all that palaver for the simplicity and ease of breastfeeding alone was such a relief!
I feel the same way. I feel it must be so others can feed the baby too, like when the mom or both parents need to go somewhere or so the dad can feed the baby during the middle of the night so the mom could sleep.
Sometimes you have more milk than baby needs right then. So you're swollen and need to release the milk , but baby's full and doesn't want to nurse. So you pump instead and save the beast milk for sometime when maybe your in the shower , or maybe Dad could feed the baby. Also when the baby's a lil older Mom and Dad could go out for a date night or something and the babysitter can feed the baby with the saved beast milk. Also you can donate beast milk to premature babies in the hospitals and there's a market for it online as well for Moms who want their babies to get the benefits of beast feeding , but they can't because they don't produce milk or maybe just not enough milk. So yea
My breast always gave a lot of milk even when I'm not feeding or if I'm feeding onside the amout that just drips on its own could feel 2 to 4 ozs plus after breastfeeding on demand 4 times I rather others be able to help me cause breastfeeding has driven me crazy while running a home.

You are doing fabulously! I breast-fed three kids who all gained weight in the hospital! Your breasts are better behaved with the second and subsequent births. Pressing firmly the over the center of your non-feeding breast helps hold the milk back until the letdown passes. Nursing in a side lying position is one of my other favorite tips! it was especially helpful since I had to have three C-sections. I would nurse the baby on the breast closest to the mattress then lean forward to feed from the second breast. I usually changed the baby in the middle of feeding to help it stay awake. Babies have total suction from mouth to bum so when they’re feeding they often blow out their diaper. You can easily burp baby by just sitting it up against one hand while patting its back. 💞
I to breastfeed my two babies. My first was 9 # 12 oz. I had so much milk in just 12 hours of emergency c section. After 37 hours of labor. All i had was a La Leche book and a manual pump which did not help. I had to hand express and couldn't get much. Not enough to freeze . Would leak through 2 pads and down my cloths. I always said i could feed the county. My second born in 82 nursed 3 1/2 and she did not want to stop then. She now has 3 children and had a difficult time breastfeeding. She even rented a hospital grade pump that didn't help. She loved to breastfeed. I would supplement the baby like the pedestrian recommended so she wouldn't get confused. ❤
My nursing friends told me to use nursing pads or my husband's hankies for unexpected let downs. I was young and didn't understand but I soon figured out I could hold my arms against my breasts and press. If I did this before baby started crying I could stop the huge leak down the front of my clothes.

I didn’t know you could do that! I might do that if I can.
I truly appreciate this video. I just went on Amazon and purchase everything that you had on this video for my postpartum. I even love the babies little pillow. Thank you.
I’m so glad 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
What are the rounded pads that she kept . Purpose and name please
@@zani448they are breast pads/ nursing pads, they keep you from staining and wetting all your clothes since your boobs will leak breast milk every couple hours
@@zani448they expire milk, you can also get them in reusable. You can get them for example from "lansinoh" or "medela", like the freezer bags for milk.
@@zani448which ones? The ones she put in the bra are nursing pads, the wet ones she took out and said “life saver”, are witch hazel pads that you put on top of your pad in your underwear for healing.
Such a great Mother Congratulations 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This is so wholesome
❤❤
Это прекрасно! Чем больше в Америке таких матерей, тем скорее она перестанет существовать ❤ и весь мир вздохнет с облегчением!)))

I remember the days of just one. It is such a sweet and special time. Soak it all in. ❤❤❤ about to have baby boy #5
Omg this gave me such ughh flashbacks to these times especially because I was going through the worst while being postpartum 😓I wish the best for all new moms out there
What a beautiful, loving mama. Beautiful family.
I sooo remember those days! May all your days be so sweet. ❤🎉
💃 da felicidade da thais alegria dela foi contagiante 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Yes they are life savers. My milk use to spill when i least expect it. God is good.
So good you go outside into the fresh air and sun with your baby!!! You don’t have to walk a lot. Just sit there and relax 😃
Being a momma is the best ❤️ congratulations 🎉
The fact that you’re back to vlogging so soon is a miracle in itself. Congratulations… Well done Mama❤
Breast fed both my kids for 2 years each but didn't know we could freeze pumped milk. Good to see young moms managing things so well, kudos to all the new moms because whatever anyone might say it's not a easy job.
In order to be a good Mom you have to be prepared to give up your own personal life and be 100% a mother. That's just how it has to be. I just could never see myself giving up my life. Never once had a desire to do this. 73 and no regrets. Congratulations Mamma. You will be a good Mom.
Sometimes we dont realized but it is such a blessing to have a clean and organized house to come back and spend the post partum days 😍🙏🏻 so peaceful and delightful to live that! 💕
Yessss 🥰🥰🥰
I remember and miss those days so much!! Enjoy it goes by real fast.
Really! What part do you miss??? The sleepless nights ?😂 That was my worst period and I don't want to have a second baby for that reason!
Proper breastfeeding is the best part of being a mum.
@@hadjer168I’m with you on that! I also have chronic fatigue syndrome so how I got through the newborn stage as being a sole parent to a baby who only cat napped I’ll never know lol
I loved breastfeeding too. It feels good in a thousand different ways, and when your baby looks up at you and smiles? Nothing better.
Such a great description of how it feels! I miss it so much 😊
It’s amazing until they start biting you for fun. That’s when I weaned.
& baby holds your finger/ hand and makes their happy nursing noises ☺️☺️
The let down feeling and the sleepy hormone feeling are THE BEST 💞
@@ALT-vz3jn Thankfully I didn’t experience that, but I would’ve weaned too if I had.
Fk I was so exhausted I was falling asleep standing up 😂
This is so accomplished!!

Thanks for being real...we are tired of SuperPerfect-looking people ❤❤❤
God bless you and your baby
I agree - but wearing those ,adult diapers‘ just because you had given birth is really weird to me!
Also all that stuff that she put in her bra…🤔😆
A maternity-pad in your normal pant (after a C-section you don’t need this either and a normal period-pad is mostly enough!)
and maybe bra pads,
if your milk flows really that much into a nursing bra - that’s enough in my opinion!
All others is money making with new mums…
(and sadly that works very well)!!
She looks super perfect to me lol
Well rested , no crying baby .. relaxing with a coffee
@MaMa-uj4pp the diaper is sometimes needed unfortunately...😅
Still looks super perfect to me
@@LyraReid well, I gave birth 1 month 1 week ago and I change my mind, this is super perfect LOL
My kids are 21 years and 20 years old and I miss the feeding times, it's such a bonding time.
WHOA! You are producing like a Factory! Awesome job, Mommy! What a gorgeous blessing, your little AngelFace is!!!! Gosh, how I miss those days ! 🥹😢😭😭😭Savor every second of it, because it will change, week by week! At 2 weeks, I called my Nurse crying, that my little AngelFace had already changed a lot. 🥹😭😁
Yes defined blessed with my supply 🥰 oh I know my oldest one is 3 and it feels like we had her yesterday 🥺
My youngest is 20 years old. Enjoy the snuggles and love now. Xx
Keep going momma, you're doing great! ❤ your giving your baby the best start in life.
Si ma il latte non si congela, perde ogni proprietà.
What a wonderful example. I wish they had had these bags for my Mom back in the day. They were three of us!😬So glad you can manage like this. It seems like some work to possibly pump, label, and store, but you’re doing something for that child that no other nourishment can do.😊
Congratulations on your new baby! You’re doing a great job Mommy!👏👏🙏❤️💕🇨🇦Canada
I remember doing all this with my 3 kids now they are almost 8 6 and almost 4 and healthy amazing kids
What a patience and beautiful sweet mommy you are!!!! 👏💝👏💝
God bless ALL Mother’s and may He strengthen and allow you to be inspiring and creative in ALL areas of life here on earth.
Peace and blessings to All Families 🌎Amen. 🙏
Omg 6 days in and you’ve got that much milk coming in? You’re very blessed! Fingers crossed I’ve got that kind of milk supply too once I have my babies!
Jesus loves you and has a plan for you! 1 Corinthians 13:4-6, Jeremiah 29:11, Joshua 1:9!
Ask for the help of the Godess. You will have enough milk.
You need to express a lot of milk, that’s the only secret, basically more demand more supply. Not a rocket science.
I miss those days when i sat with my son in my arms and just chilled.. now hes 4 and a freakin energizer bunny 😂😂
Just wait until he’s double that at 8! lol Now I miss the 4 year old energizer bunny days🥲. He’s still got the energy, that remains the same, just way bigger and less cuddly…I can still get a cuddle just not like when he was 4! Enjoy every moment 💙
Sometimes your body produces more milk than what the baby, especially new borns, can consume.
So yea
Agreed
My breast always gave a lot of milk even when I'm not feeding or if I'm feeding onside the amout that just drips on its own could feel 2 to 4 ozs plus after breastfeeding on demand 4 times I rather others be able to help me cause breastfeeding has driven me crazy while running a home.

This is exactly why I do as postpartum Doula but a nighttime!!
Beautiful Video Reality 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽♥️
I so wish I had even known that a postpartum doula was even a thing 10 and 13 years ago. I needed one so bad because my hormones were so out of whack and I took a drastic nosedive into postpartum depression after my second son. I needed help and didn't have any, except for my husband when he could.
They were my favourite moments too ❤❤❤
What a beautiful video, mama! Such sweet moments ❤ After 3 kids, I swear I could smell the Tuck’s pads through the video lol
Hahahaha that was me!!!! I smelled them after I had my second baby and it brought back memories from my first baby 🥰🥺

Been there mama..❤ your gonna rock it ❤ bless y'all
I to breastfeed my two babies.
Same I would just hold them when i felt the letdown coming and it would stop the leak😊
People like us who never have leaks can't relate, 😅
That’s crazy this people exposing their lives . Like they’re so important.
Your home is so simplistic, cozy, and welcoming. I’m not a mom yet but these videos are helpful. God bless you and your beautiful family. May his blessings and peace pour out on you in this season❤

Good luck with nursing. I wanted to but had C Section with complications so ended up bottle feeding. Got alot of criticism + abuse for not breast feeding, alotta stigma around new mums. Your baby is beautiful❤
Thank you 🥰 I get criticism for breastfeeding. So yea people will always judge no matter what

Ur so positive. I love ur energy..!❤❤
Your choice and Mother's Nature plan for us to feed our babies naturally... Hard and tiring, but worthwhile. ❤
Fed is best.
100% worthwhile. We are built for it and it is best for our babies for us to bond and cuddle and nurse them with liquid gold. Breastmilk is so magical.
CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR BABYY 🥺🥺
You are such a wonderful mama.
Can you give a list for all the products you use pls
Great job mom ! How in the world so you not have any food in your freezer ? I've never seen one so clean .
They probably cleaned it for only freezing milk
Some people do not use the freezer on their refrigerator. We for instance have a chest freezer and a free standing freezer that we use. It is easier for organization of your freezer also.
Mothers are THE BEST 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I remember those days,I loved breast feeding too,it’s so much better than formula, plus it’s a one on one for mommy and baby! It’s nice that you freeze it for whatever you have to leave baby! Congratulations on your new little bundle of joy ❤❤❤

Im 25 weeks today with number 5 and this is actually making me look forward to the postpartum transition again. Very raw, real and perfect. I hope my supply stays this time though. I realized pumping definitely gives you an oversupply I pumped and breastfed for first 3 months and had way too much milk haha then when I just breastfed after that just right 👍 👌
