Wish I knew this 3weeks ago 😅 I did go distant, he came back and I tried to communicate standards that only texting is not what I was looking for (as he had become very lazy). He agrees but did nothing about it. I got very frustrated he did not respond to my latest text in 3days because he ”did not see it”. I told him I was done. Struggle with if I did the right thing and saved myself time and energy with such a guy or if I should have again just gone distant (but ”happy”) however at that point I was too frustrated with the man. Such hard confusing work!
One caveat…this only works with GOOD MEN. If he’s a “bad boy” then it will drive him even further away. But…. Isn’t that what you wanna do anyway, drive away the bad boys and attract the good men? 😉
Why it has to be so hard to be in a healthy relationship where u don’t act , you are just being urself ! Why do u lose interest when we show u our love ? Like for me , i feel so over the moon when my person shows me his love Not because i’m a girl , it’s because i need love i’m human after all We all need someone to rely on To love and be loved Why does it have to be this hard?! I don’t get it

A guy who only wants what he can’t have, is going to go through life trying to conquer/win over a series of women, because he needs it for his own validation. He then will project his own codependency onto you, as if it was not his own actions that caused you to feel insecure in your relationship with him. Do you really want a guy like this? He is playing a completely different game than you are. You are trying to play “let’s connect and build something together,” he is playing, “Wow! I feel satisfied with myself because I didn’t think I could win her over but I did, but she must not be so great if she wants me…I don’t value her as much anymore and besides, that act I did to win her over…I know I can’t keep that up long term. Better to leave on a high note before she finds out.”
