If you’re like me and have PCOS, then you know it can be easy to gain weight and it can really start to add up fast.
So, in today’s video, I’m sharing with you my PCOS diet plan to lose weight as well as a day’s worth of PCOS diet recipes. I’m happy to have you join me as I plan and make a day’s worth of healthy, real food recipes that are great for helping to manage polycystic ovary syndrome.
👉🏻 Strawberry Cauliflower Protein Smoothie
1 cup coconut beverage
1 cup frozen strawberries
½ frozen banana
½ cup steamed-then-frozen cauliflower florets (or cauliflower rice)
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 scoop protein powder
Combine ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

I have pcos I was always a little overweight but after I was blessed with my son the weight has piled on I hate it I feel so unfit Thankyou for helping us ❤
I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18. I had all the classic symptoms and then some. My weight was out of control, my acne was severe and my hair started to fall out, slowly receding as time went on. I took birth control, which is what my gynecologist recommended at the time. Unfortunately, those did not work and with blood clots running in my family, I had to wean off of them. Then, my doctor suggested metformin. The first month was brutal with constant stomach issues and feeling queasy. Those side effects eventually went away, but then 1 year in and my metformin was recalled. After that, I just stopped taking medicine all together. Thought that no doctor could help me, and ventured on this PCOS journey alone for a long time. I’m 29 now, and with making little to no results these past 9 years, I’ve been suffering in silence. And to my dismay, even a new symptom has come, which is hirsutism( basically hair growth on the face). I’m at my wits end, and I’m tired of dealing with this. I just want to feel like a normal woman. So I’ve been dieting, and I feel much better, but I struggle with letting go of the foods I love. Simply, because food has been my friend and comfort for so long. It’s also super discouraging when you work your butt off one week and weigh in to find that you didn’t lose anything that week. When others lost 2-5lbs. So I’ve been searching RUclips for answers, hoping someone can shed some light on the disease that been plaguing me since my teenage years. It’s kind of amazing how many RUclipsrs and people in general, also suffer with PCOS. And I enjoy hearing all their advice. So thank you for taking the time to make these videos. They help more than you may know. I wish I would’ve stumbled upon them sooner! I’m looking forward to the future and putting my faith in God this time round. For all you beautiful women suffering in silence like I have, you can do it!! We all can! It’s just a lot of work, and we’ll have to work harder than a woman with a normal hormonal balance. I just found out I have PCOS, this video helped me a lot thank you. I noticed in this video you have no dairy. What happens if you do have dairy?
My doctor suggested going on a whole 30 based diet because I’ve recently put on a lot of weight an she thinks it’s because I don’t metabolize dairy & processed foods the way others do, due to the pcos.
Most dairy is inflammatory and that’s why it is usually left out of elimination diets.
