Yes!!! I managed to do this yesterday!!! My flip back was a bit sketchy but I was so stoked to land it ok. I’m gonna clean it up and try it on the bank. Thanks for all the trick tips!
Ohhh I can't believe! I used to practice EXACTLY like that when I was a teenager! The most difficult part to me was balancing out after getting in the Casper as you have to REALLY lean back on popsicle boards! I'm just getting back into skating after almost a 15 years iatus and managed to pull one of last week on my old board even though it was falling apart it was amazing! Now I just need to practice now on my new board! But dude, I'm so glad to know that I had figured this one out all of those years ago! I've never managed to land a kickflip or heelflip and probably kick these wrong, but the casper was totally fine!
This video is much appreciated! All the other videos I could find focus on the Casper Flip, but I'm glad you have this detailed guide and follow up help videos for the original freestyle version.
I’m really grateful for this, most videos showee the trick in air, but this is basically perfect. Great camera angles too, we don’t talk enough about how tutorials actually makr a trick visible nd easy to follow. I love these clean, step by step videos.
Is it weird that I kinda zoned out for a moment at the end of this video? Watching caspers in slow-mo on repeat is kind of meditative. Was cool seeing the feet position of getting into casper, especially how the deck rolls over the foot.
If you’re trying to skate it with freestyle wheels you’ll need a narrower truck - I recommend using a truck that is 1 size smaller (eg 7.25” trucks with 7.6” deck and offset wheels)
@@mike_osterman1 I actually just got a set in the mail yesterday. I’m mainly working on footwork right now but would like to try some rail tricks. I’ll look at your completes and see what you’ve got on them. Thanks
@@mike_osterman1 All right Mike! I just sort of impulse bought a complete from you! I’m the order that asked that you don’t send the setup complete as I would like to grip and build the setup myself if possible but if not Nbd. Cheers🤙🏼
@@mike_osterman1 I placed an order a few days ago and never received any shipping confirmation or tracking. Do you guys only ship on certain days of the week?

How do I not crush my front foot under my board lmao
I would also like to know that 🤣
You have to lift the front foot up after the scoop. Tuck that knee if u have 2
Balanc
You use your weight onto the back foot and balance and get your front foot underneath to keep it up
2:40-2:45
This is great. I’ve got this entire trick down except getting the rear foot on the board after the flip. I’ll try the shuv. Thanks

Same
I've just learned this one... kinda perfect amount of easy with wow factor at the max. F. Up 3 pairs of shoes though...
Also, adding griptape under your nose/tail will help your back leg to not slip #freestylingwithnormalboard
Great tutorial but a lot of pain in my front foot 😂😢😅
You need steel toe shoes
This tutorial is tits! Totally helped me figure this out, thanks.
Yay!
I'm a really bigener skateboarder and I learnt this in less than 20 min with this video
sick thanks for the tutorial broddie
Hey I keep landing on one foot when I flip it back on wheels, any tips?
I cant do the second step, i always balance myself on a board like in the video but i cant get casper position
Im so close to doing it!
1:05 I recommend breaking down 🕺
Can I pop into this trick? Pop like an Ollie, roll the board under my feet, then Casper before landing?
Yep!
@@mike_osterman1 bet I'ma learn them then add them to my bs 180s & 360s
I dont know.. can you 🤣?
Landed premo and hurt my back firt try. Landed it 13th try thanks for the tutorial!
My legs has been bruised😂
Mike seeing You and the whole team at Braille gave me a idea A family photo style of spoon nose breathe then stick ...
Hey Mike what’s the wheelbase on that new Bixby board? I didn’t see a contact on the site.
Sick graphics.
13.5” for the 7.6&8”, 12.5” for the 7.4”
@@mike_osterman1 perfect I’ve got a set of Thunder trucks that should fit that 7.6 perfect
There 145s

Bro learned this in like 10 minutes with only watching like the intro of the video this trick easy asf
This trick basically requires stalls or grip under to do it correctly. My backfoot slipped off everytime and now I know why.
Grip on the nose and tail definitely help!
Great company 👌
Are proper "Freestyle" Completes Available anywhere?
Yep! Waltzskateboarding.com

What is the move called at 2:48?
walk the dog
I did it first try lol I just had to move my foot up more lol
teach kickflip to no hands please
I recommend you guys first learn half flip
I guess I'm stupid because I can do a Casper 5:40 all day but I cannot do a kickflip for the life of me
I destroyed my shins doing this 😢😢
On god. Didn't think it'll hurt so bad lol
get cheap soccer football shin guards from temu or ali or something
Me too bro😂
The hard part was pain in my front foot
yeah you're meant to keep your front foot elevated always
I skate with the 90’s style padded tongue skate shoes, no pain whatsoever. There’s a reason they made shoes this way. But my Vans, agreed ouch!
@@erock736 thanks for da recommendation
