I guess why this is more exciting than current racing cars that you can really see and enjoy these cars on the edge or over (or drivers). Speed is really relative. You can only appreciate today's amazingly fast cars being right on the Eau Rouge or near the rails in monaco but in TV these goodwood battles are so much more fun

@@EleanorPeterson thanks for the explanation. I thought the drivers had to open the window at a specific moment during the race ( race regulation wise) or something like that. My English is not so good and I often do not understand all the comments the speaker say .
The Ferrari 250 SWB Breadvan that Emmanuele Pirro drove on the last clip, for example, is a one-off. It is a Ferrari 250 SWB modified in period to take on the then-new 250 GTOs.
You can tell that in Europe having your car restored or repaired is less of a hassle that in the U.S. by the way they drive their vintage race cars; man you guys actually race these things, much respect! Your mechanics and body shops probably just fix it if you pay, not giving you a bunch of crap mechanic advice and opinions, then make a huge fuss about how hard it is to find parts or whatever other excuses they make up to make them feel their job is more important than it is, finally needing to be coddled before they'll begin a 2 month project that ends up taking years because they think their "buddy" or "guy" is the best at whatever needs to be done, even though he's just another hack who keeps messing up the job cause he doesn't have the skills, knowledge, or the humbleness to read instructions or engineering info, only falsely found confidence paid for by the poor sap car owner who will be thinking about the hassle of repairs while they slowly take turn one instead of just racing balls out like you chaps.

Thanks.

I wonder how would they drive with modern wheels
Holy shit, I'm new to this. These cars are priceless. Are most of them replicas or they're genuine?
They are real.
Yep, they're the real deal. Some of them have always been race cars. Regardless there was one race last year valued at £80,000,000.00 ($105 mil)
